[Bastian] Ian Happ was already the 1st Cubs outfielder to win 3 Gold Glove Awards — he now has a 4th for his trophy case. Happ is the only NL left fielder to win 4 in a row since the award went position-specific for outfielders in 2011.

8. Happ had his best defensive season by the metrics since his first Gold Glove year. He’s probably reached the point that he just keeps winning the award until someone has a *significantly* better season than him.

16. Honestly why I find it crazy that people want to cut or trade him, yeah his offensive production isn’t elite but he’s still above average and is one of the best defensive left fielders in the league.
