Yes it is the deepest and most solid roster in a really long time. But rebounding and post defense will still be question marks. Need to get something positive out of Paul George, and need for Watford/Barlow to be legit dudes.
Need a stretch 4.
I know Josh Harris will never do it, but they could sign another player right now. Hopefully it’s eventually Barlow.
Watford and Walker kinda suck. Hoping Bona can fill that bench PF role.
I’m worried about the long term pairing of VJ with Maxey. It looks good now but I don’t see how it doesn’t end up negatively affecting VJs growth. It’s hard for guys to get shots when Maxey/Embiid are out there.
Gonna be hard to move Oubre to the bench with how well he’s been playing.
I think you actually start Oubre and bring PG off the bench but that’s just me. Need to keep PG healthy.
I mean, how many games do we think we’ll actually have everyone healthy and ready to roll like that? But really liked what I saw from Watford tonight, a bit of scoring and size off the bench is what we desperately needed. Hope he can bring it consistently. Walker’s been awful.
Desperately need a forward.
PG too injury prone and Barlow still green.
Grimes for a forward makes the most sense if we have no desire to give him big money after the season and we don’t give up any Clippers picks.
But just enjoy the ride for now.
Will we ever see Embiid and Bona line up?
PG should honestly be coming off the bench while he ramps back up. If he plays well enough make him starting 4, but Oubre has earned that starting 3 spot
A bunch of necessary 4th quarter comebacks and that Celtics loss gives me a bit of pause. But VJ is already showing such insane promise and Maxey is a clear all-star level player, so as long as Embiid is upright the core is very solid. Oubre showing up, most guys coming off the bench aren’t terrible, so it’s all there for them to put it together.
That power forward rotation is pretty suspect and we need to be better at rebounding.
But if Joel stays sorta healthy and effective, we’ll be a good team.
So yes. We’re fucking back.

I would mix the G position – Maxey+McCain & Edgecombe+Grimes – McCain+Grimes lacks physicality
Morey built a damn good roster… it’s just a shame it came together when Embiid’s really going through it
There’s actually 9-10 guys I like here, idk when that last was, and come playoffs they only need 8-9
I don’t think this is a title-winning team, but in an unsettled eastern conference it at least has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs and it should be fun to watch.
fun team that won’t be able to get over the defense/size issues. My advice is not to focus too much on playoff success and try to just enjoy the regular season with a fun group of guys.
