I started watching baseball games when Brewers were playing dodgers in the playoffs. I continued watching after the playoffs and every game in the World Series. I think this sport is an amazing sport. It was pure entertainment during those 7 games. My stepson and I will hit the batting cages soon and I can’t wait to watch baseball next year 🙂

  1. There seemed to be a ton of diving catches against the Dodgers this season. Seemed like every game there was at least one amazing diving catch by whoever they were playing.

  2. Might be awhile until you see another one with quite this much going on. Pretty good one to start with though.

  3. that Pages catch is gonna be cemented in Dodger history as one of the greatest catches/bloopers ever

  4. That picture of Gimenez … when you see it.

    >!Sorry, clearly I need to grow up.!<

  5. I wonder how the series would have turned out differently if 85% of the Dodgers’ hard-hit balls hadn’t been hit at Varsho.

  6. Gimenez is just a clown for that. Someone in another thread posted the time when he stuck his hand out to get hit.

He should’ve been ejected for it, but our least favorite bind mouse was behind the plate and he got his base.

Even after Big Dumper called it to Hernandez’s attention, he didn’t do anything.

  7. I hope you had fun. I’ve been watching since I was a kid. The drama and emotions are real. Not every hunt for red October is like this mind you. I believe we just witnessed a core memory of a World Series.

  8. Good World Series with two excellent teams. Gotta play perfect ball at that level and the Jays couldn’t.

  9. That last photo is so funny to me, in a world where people are stress watching and bro is just being a big kid.

  10. If it was your first time then, congrats, you witnessed a classic. Maybe the best one that I’ve seen in my lifetime.

  11. The key moment for me was Will Smith’s foot on home plate. The Blue Jays were literally an inch from winning the series.

What was crazy is that either team could have won the series until that final pitch. Edge of your seat stuff.

  12. This was a once in a generation type of series. I’m jealous that this was your first time watching a WS.

  13. When they collided and didn’t drop the ball I was like yeah, the forces of baseball aren’t gunna let the Jays win.

  14. I’ve seen that last pic posted a couple of times but I can’t remember what was happening significant there. Can anyone remind me?

  15. Do people really think Gimenez was trying to get hit by a pitch, on his HAND? A baseball player whose lively hood is based on their hands, wants to potentially risk a career ending injury.

Does that seem logical? Maybe I’m being  a homer, but let’s talk about this. Taking one on the shoulder, or on the body is waaaay different. It seemed like a startled response to me to being pitched inside.

And the pitcher did it 3x, finally hitting him on the 3rd attempt.

  16. I think Gimenez is slick for doing that on inside pitches. But I don’t think Andres was mad because it was intentional, he just really doesn’t like balls coming close to his head. Taking the hit is an answer to doing that.

  17. This was my first season watching baseball and a WS too. I started around Canada Day, and because I’m Canadian and my grandma was a big Jays fan I naturally watched them. So for my first season this was a wild ride. So many emotions from excitement to disappointment, but nevertheless its made me a baseball fan. I haven’t enjoyed watching a sport this much since I was a kid watching the NBA, and I definitely never thought I’d enjoy baseball this much. I already can’t wait for next season! It’s also made me want to go to the batting cages and maybe join a recreational slow pitch league lol. But ya, I was also rooting for the Brewers to make it to the WS instead of LA, but maybe next year!

  18. I know Yamamoto deserved mvp of the series but you’d be crazy to say miguel rojas wasn’t the mvp of that game. Some of the most clutch shit I’ve ever seen in any sports game period.
