ALCS Game 5 Highlights 🔱 Mariners GRAND SLAM regains 3-2 series lead vs. Blue Jays | ESPN MLB
It is game five from T-Mobile Park and who’s it going to be with this best of seven now best of three. Will it be the Blue Jays for the first time in 32 years or will the Mariners make it to the Fall Classic for the first time? Oh, baby had the one to crush and did. Hey Suarez makes it one- nothing Seattle. Clement. That is a fair ball and a double play. A two-inch tapper. They turn two. Five games in a row. He launches a fly ball to left center field. It’s carrying well. Rodriguez watches it hit off the wall. Swatted to right center field. Base hit for Clement. Kirk the slowest runner in the big leagues. He’s going to get there. The 2-1 lifted down the left field line towards the corner it goes. Lucas is over there and it’s just fouled. They’re going to be trailing in this series. Here’s a high fly ball deep left field. Did he get enough? He did. Another 22. It’s another fast ball. It’s driven the other way. It’s got a chance. It’s a grand slam up the middle. Crawford so close they can taste it. [Music]
See highlights as the Seattle Mariners retook the series lead in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays off a grand slam by Eugenio Suarez. The Mariners are now one win away from their first-ever appearance in the MLB World Series.

One more 👶!!!! Let's do it
IT'S A GRAAAND SALAMI🔱🔱🔱
BIG DUMPER WORLD SERIES
WITHIN STRIKING DISTANCE FOLKS!!!! GO M'S!!!!
What a response ..ima dodger fan Seattle we waiting finish the job ..
All you had to do is ask me, I could have told you (Dan Wilson) that Suarez preferred to hit behind Arozorena. Any more concerns, feel free to ask
two homers for geno, one going oppo for the biggest moment in mariners history wow
one more!!!!
Seems like the blue jays has learned from the maple leafs, we will have to wait and see if the jays aren't the leafs and maybe they actually can force an game 7 and win it.
That Salami was eerily similar to Edgar's against the Yankees. Game 4, tied 6-6, bottom 8, bases loaded, Kingdome, Edgar went deep to center to give the M's their first lead and the win. Of course the next night he hit "the double" but the Salami the night before got them to Game 5
Fck every Mariner and Mariners fan. Have to hit Springer to change momentum. Then you boo him when he gets up? Classless, cheap team. Hope Raleigh takes one off the face
Incredibly poor decision by Schneider putting in Little in the 8th. Anyone who watches the Jays know this was an absurd move bathed in naivety and negligence. In the last month and a half batters are hitting.500 against Little…let alone OBP. It’s not Littles fault he gave up a dinger and 2 walks, it’s his managers for putting him in that situation.
This is why Schneider can't be manager next year, put in maybe our worst 2 bullpen guys.
Wow what a game
Why did Schneider put in Hoffman last game up 6 run's but not put him in with the mariner's best hitter coming up in the bottom of the 8th up a run
WTH was Schneider thinkin replacing a very good Varland with Little? Classic "if it ain't broke don't fix it"!!!! Damn!!
Pulling for the M’s! I really like the manager.
Zero emphasis on that grand slam
They’re trying to injure the pitcher you can see em aiming for him
@espnmlb are you serious???? 100 seconds???? highlights???
Yes….throw it down the middle again…please. Cal and Geno thank you.
Cal hit a Big Dumper Thumper, doggone dinger, a Homeric Hoist, a yard jack way back, a fulsome four-bagger, a raucous round-tripper, a bombastic blast, a bodacious bomb, a Big Momba moon shot, a toasted tater. He parked that puppy, mashed that meatball, a no doubt clout, a no joke poke, a bell ringer stinger, a King Kong Ding Dong and a tape measure for the fans' pleasure.
That was quite possibly the worst highlight reel ever. Zero context, zero build up.
Break out the rye bread and the mustard. And raise a glass for Dave Niehaus, who is looking down and smiling.
A baffling and incomprehensible decision by Schneider to bring in Little, arguably the Jays worst bullpen pitcher, for the 8th inning. Even the Jays own post-game TV analysts were livid, torching Schneider RE the decision. (I hope none of them get fired for speaking their mind) Too bad Louis Varland is not a future Hall of Famer, he could have gone "all-Scherzer" on Schneider's head in the dugout when he was told Little was coming. All I can say to Mariners fans…. YOU'RE WELCOME!
Where was Jeff Hoffman? HELLO?! Brendon Little will NEVER see the light of day again!!! You mark my words. John Schneider gifted that game to Seattle with the most egregious managing move I have ever seen. Inexcusable! I don't care what sport you are talking about, you ALWAYS win or lose with your BEST not your WORST!!!
Game 6, the Jays pitchers should drill the water ass catcher in the ribs or elbow
1:14 Grand Slam
There's something unique about the announcer's energy when he shouted "the slowest runner in the big leagues"
Seattle fans shouldn't have booed Springer when he got hit in the kneecap. Karma's a Biotch!
