  1. Very reminiscent of the Bedard 2nd goal in the hat trick where he just got a little speed, manipulated the spacing of the defenders, and then beat the goalie from there.

  2. Someone help me understand his projected timeline… for example, assuming no crazy Hawk injuries, no matter how much he dominates he’s not expected til next season?

  3. Nice walk, but holy shit that D was atrocious. numbers 5 and 32 almost run into each other when he cuts back to the middle.

  4. This is why the hawks are being patient with not making any purchases. We have pieces, just need a wee bit of time

  5. For reference, the top U22 seasons in KHL history include Kaprizov in 2019 with 30G in 57GP and Nikishin in 2023 with 55P in 65GP. Kaprizov also has the highest P/GP season at 0.89, though Tarasenko beat this in 2013 with a 1.03 P/GP pace but in only 31GP.

Kantserov is currently on pace for 43G, 68P in a full 68-game season – let’s see how well he can keep it up all year!
