  4. Call me crazy but I don’t think a stat that calls Devin Booker the 6th best rim protector in the league means anything.

  5. WCJ has had a great start to the season, really awesome to see him doing well.

    This also shouldn’t be that surprising though… WCJ routinely is 2nd on the team typically just behind Isaac in DFG% allowed. He doesn’t collect blocks like most bigs but he does provide serious rim protection which is more important

  6. WCJ is one of the most consistent players on the roster and the amount of hate he gets in game threads is insane. The man is always engaged and working on both ends.

  7. He’s actually come in playing way better this season. Big reason we won game one, and he’s shooting at a much better three pt percentage. I’ve hated on him a lot in the past, and it still drives me nuts when he has a dumb TO or can’t catch a pass, but pretty happy overall with his performance.

  9. I’m not holding my breath, he’s done this several times before where he’ll have a 15-game stretch where he looks like peak Brook Lopez, then he always, always regresses to the mean.

    I keep hearing people praise his SWITCHABILITY and FLOOR STRETCHING when the truth is we’re now in year eight and he’s a league-average big when defending guards, and he shoots 32% from three.

    I’m not saying he’s been terrible but he’s a league-average starting C and it puzzles me how much some of this subreddit glazes him. I HOPE I’m wrong and he transform into Brook Lopez! I’m not holding my breath though, we have half a decade of data now that shows what he is.
