Breece Hall to Chiefs Rumors Picking Up Steam | New York Jets Trade Rumors
What is going on, Japans? Matt Olri back with another video. I’m back after a little break over the by week over this weekend. Uh, no videos on Saturday or Sunday. I needed a little reset, but it’s Monday. The Jets play this week and we are back in the mix. The New York Jets have some trade rumors circulating with a trade deadline coming tomorrow. Expect to see a bunch of that over the next 24 hours or so. And the player that I want to focus on in this video is Bree Hall. Someone we’ve talked about a ton this year with trade rumors. And it was reported that the New York Jets are looking for a third round pick in return for Bree Hall if they were to move him. Now, uh, that seems a little bit high in terms of where the market for Bree Hall is right now. A fourth or fifth seemed a little bit more likely in a Bree Hall trade, but the Jets are holding out for a third. However, one of the teams with noted interest in Bree Hall is the Kansas City Chiefs. They are a really good football team, but they lost last night to the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo Bills always beat him in the regular season. The Kansas City Chiefs always beat the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs. So, uh they like I’m not saying the Chiefs are in full-fledged panic, but they are just okay right now. They haven’t really put themselves over the top and with the reported value of a third round pick for Bree Hall that the Jets are looking for, especially after last night’s loss to Buffalo, Chiefs fans all over social media were calling for Kansas City to make that trade to make a, you know, trade for a third round traded third round pick for for Bree Hall. And you know, that’s not saying that they’re willing to do it, like that the team’s willing to do it, but the again, the consensus is from their fan base, like they want the Chiefs to do this. So, what I wanted to do is kind of talk through the pros and cons of trading Bree Hall. Now, I think if you get a third versus a fourth or fifth, that obviously makes things a little bit different. But the pro one of the first pros that I have is the Jets don’t currently have a third round pick. And you can thank the Hassan Reic trade for that one. The Jets traded uh their 2026 third round pick in order to acquire Hassan Reic. It did not work out with the New York Jets. Uh so they are lacking that pick. And if you want to rebuild this thing, you can argue that they need more early picks. They have a lot of day three capital, you know, six, seven round pick swaps that they’ve done, but they have a first, they have a second, and they don’t have a third round pick as of this moment. So, uh, you can make the argument that, you know, the Jets should consider trying to add more to their chest of picks earlier on in the draft. I think that, okay, fine. If the Jets don’t plan on resigning Bree Hall, and I don’t know what the Jets stance on that is, you could maybe they don’t want to trade him, but there’s really not an interest in a long-term contract. If they don’t plan on resigning him, they can get decent value back and acquire a draft pick that they don’t have. Again, it’s a little bit different if you’re saying, “Hey, you know, another day three pick, a fifthrounder versus a third round pick.” That changes the conversation a little bit. I’m not gung-ho about the idea of trading Bree Hall, but I think a third is a big difference than like a fifthrounder. And I think it’s something the Jets would consider if a team like Kansas City offer them their third round pick. Guys, think you know football? There are legitimate cons, too, which is why I’ve been like openly admitting I’ve been very flip-floppy on the idea of of trading Bree Hall. I I don’t I don’t love the idea personally. I get I would understand it if they took a third rounder if especially if they don’t think they’re ressigning him, but there are cons to trading Bree Hall in both the short term and long term. In the short term, that leaves Isaiah Davis as, you know, the lead back for the rest of the year, which I like Isaiah Davis a lot. I think he’s a good running back, too, with no Brillin Allen because of his injury. like best case scenario, he’s back in December, but do you really want to rush Brilan Allen back in what’s likely a lost year? So, I guess it would be Isaiah Davis and Khalil Herbert as your two running backs, I don’t really think that offers you a whole lot. And if you want to evaluate the entire offense and you want to evaluate Tener Angstrand as a play caller and if you want to evaluate Aaron Glenn by a total number of wins, I think, you know, Bree Hall helps the Jets win more games this year. So that I would flag that as one of the cons. It also creates another hole for you that the Jets would have to fill in the off seasonason, right? Like if they’re moving on from Bree Hall, yes, you have Brilan Allen and Isaiah Davis. Those are two backs that, you know, I think is a good start to a running back room, but I think they would need more. Are you willing to use a draft pick on a running back relatively early to get someone in here with those two guys? Are you willing to pay someone else in free agency to get them to get, you know, them in here and playing right? Because I, like I said, I think Isaiah Davis is a good number two. I don’t think Brilen Allen is a number one back. I think he’s at best a 1B, likely more of a running back two, which is fine if the Jets have two running back twos. That’s a really good head start head start on building a running back room, but they would need a difference maker at the position. And that’s just another thing that the Jets would have to look for and try to fill. And also too, I think you can make the argument it’s a good thing to have a player like Bree Hall who not only is a good rusher, as proven this year he’s pacing out for,200 rushing yards, but as a weapon as a pass catcher for a young quarterback, if the Jets are using their first round pick on a quarterback, don’t you want to make that player’s life as easy as possible? Like you already have Garrett Wilson a number one receiver. You feel good about where the offensive line is. You have a tight end that you like and Mason Taylor. They need a couple more receivers. No doubt. I think they need a wide receiver two and three, but if you retain Bree Hall, then you that’s like a position group you just kind of go, we don’t have to worry about running back. I think you can make a case for that being a a good decision for this team to not have to go into the offseason and go, man, we got to find our quarterback one. We got to find our running back one. We got to find a wide receiver two and three. And that’s not even looking at the defense too, which they definitely need safety help. They need to rework that lineback room and they need more at edge. So, in my opinion, it’s a very interesting decision that the Jets have on their hands with Bree Hall and something that I’m looking forward to watch over the next couple of days. We’ll see if any validity comes out of these rumors and if they are willing to move off of him for a third round pick. We’ll have a reaction if and when something happens, but for now, just wanted to come on and talk about again the pros and cons. We’ve done this a lot, but the Bree Hall rumors, especially after last night, feel like they’re heating up a little bit. So, that’s where I am at with Bree. Breece Hall trade rumors are swirling. Does a trade to the Chiefs make sense for the Jets RB?

What do you think of the Breece Hall trade rumors? Will he be dealt?
A late 3rd round draft choice for one of the best running backs in football. Sounds like a great deal to me. Wow.
Chiefs have two fourth round picks, a third and a fourth for Hall , kick back a seventh
Any pick the chiefs give us a late pick in any round so if we get a 3 it’s pretty much just a 4 so dumb if jets do this but that would be soo jets ! It’s why we suck
This has been the problem with the organization for years is letting good player walk for nothing what are we getting with a 3rd round pick what the likely hood of drafting a breece hall caliber player with a 3rd rounder? Whoever are rookie qb is could use a guy like breece hall… we have a ton of cap and running backs are not expensive
Before this year I would’ve understood it. But man he looks really explosive like his rookie year. Just took him a full offseason and some oline improvements and he’s back to form. He’s only in year 4 he’s young enough to be part of the solution and a foundational piece. Also if u trade him u can’t seriously expect the rookie qb to go into next year with braelon and Davis. So u would have to spend money or a pick to address the position anyway. He’s never even had a 1k rushing season so u can prob get him on a reasonable contract. He’s one of the best receiving backs in the league as well. Can also franchise him. Best case u get a late second and it will probably be a third. What will we even use that pick on anyway. Like a wr2 or something. We have a top 10 rb on the roster in year 4. He’s gotta be on this team tomorrow or I’ll be disappointed.
I will never understand you Jets fans. Breece Hall is a RB, the most replaceable position in football. Breece is a FA and he won't be re-signed, so if you get a 4th round pick just do it. It's better than losing him for NOTHING in the offseason. He is good, don't get me me wrong but he is not Jonathan Taylor, CMC nor BIjan Robinson. This is how you build a team, through the draft.
I'm so sick of trading our 1st rounders for 3rds.
The Jets don’t need a quarterback. In this draft. Look for WR help. That’s what they need. The fans won’t have patience for the young Quarterbacks in this draft. The top tier college dQuarterback prospects have been a disappointment so far. The fans don’t have patience for a long rebuilding process
Breece way better then anyone we getting w a late 3rd round pick trade value in the nfl is so dumb
Trading the few players that anyone else would actually want on their roster for draft picks is a GREAT idea given the spectacular track record the NY Jets have in identifying college talent
As a non Jets fan I can see why u guys wouldn’t want to get rid of Breece. But at the end of the day he’s probably a fringe top 5 RB talent who has been stuck on one of the worst teams his entire time in the league (sorry jets fans.) you guys aren’t playing for anything this year and realistically aren’t playing for anything next year either. Even if you kept Breece and you guys flip the script and win 6 games next year that’s probably a win. In this case why the shit would you not want Breece who just showcased against the only defense that it doesn’t matter how bad the jets offense is vs them. I’ve heard the drafting a young QB plan but I just don’t think that it matters to have Breece next to him, the QB/ OL play would make Breece better but realistically Breece ain’t making the shit offensive situation better next year. Needs to start up front and at QB then you can take top 10 talented backs and make them top 5 backs. Idk I’m just a dumb hawks fan.
No way
Give me a 3rd and Jalen Royals-WR and then we talking KC
Keep the peace we need Breece
Do not think Breece wants to be part of a rebuilding Jets organization. He goes to Chiefs, his likelihood for post season play skyrockets!
We should be getting a 2nd Rounder for Breece NOT 4th or 5th….you're better then that Matt
Personally I am NOT trading Breece at all
if the jets trade breece to the chiefs i might just blow myself up
Keep him. We have to have something to build around.
Im not trading breece for any draft picks leave that man alone and pay that man some cash I would rather trade both Williams bros than breece fck that
Fun fact Hall Is from Wichita KS so it wouldn't be surprising if Chiefs traded for him.
Chiefs offer a day 3 pick & Fulton or Elijah Mitchell 2 players we aint even using might get it done
Stupid what are they giving a bad position draft pick
"Breece Hall helps you win more games this year." Do what end? Jets are not making the playoffs, you don't have your franchise QB on roster, there are holes everywhere. I would rather see if Isiah Davis, a 5th round pick, can be a real contributor. The only thing Breece hall accomplishes in Weeks 10-18 is raising NYs draft picks. This should be a no brainer for the Jets front office
Why give up an asset that you can franchise next year for an almost 4th rd pick?
I'm so tired of all you experts deciding who the Jets will move. Wait till something actually happens.
I picked up Isaiah Davis in my fantasy league, but I don’t wanna see Breece traded. We’ll know soon.
