🚨ANOTHER MOVE COMING?🚨 Miami Dolphins Trade Rumors AFTER Jaelan Phillips Trade
Are more moves coming for the Miami Dolphins? Because the Dolphins kicked off the NFL trade deadline action Monday morning by dealing Jaylen Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles for a third round pick. And there has been a lot of buzz about Miami still making trades before the 400 p.m. Eastern time deadline on this Tuesday. Let’s revisit the trade that was made on Monday morning and give you some quick thoughts in case you missed it. We broke down the full trade in detail on a video this morning, but Miami received the Eagles 2026 third round pick and Philly just got Jaylen Phillips. Now Miami has three third round selections their own. The Texans from the trade they made back at the draft and then now the Eagles. Philadelphia had two third round picks at their disposal. the Jets, which is basically going to be at the beginning of the third round and their own, which projects to probably be at the end of the third round. But either way, Miami totals their fifth top 100 pick in third third round selection. Now, here is an important piece as well. The Eagles apparently aren’t taking in a lot of the money here for the Jaylen Phillips contract. The Dolphins are reportedly paying about $6.04 04 million. And that is basically telling you that Miami is essentially just buying the third round pick because they’re trading Phillips away, but they’re also paying the entire salary. So, it’s a little bit of an odd structured contract. But, I’ll tell you what, folks, like the money aspect of it, it doesn’t bother me. And I’m trying to figure out why people are so up in arms about the Dolphins paying $6 million to take the third round pick because people are like, “Oh, it’s going to limit them in the future and it doesn’t really give them any cap relief.” Yeah. This season, like, what does it matter this season? What are you planning on trading Tua over the next 24 hours? That ain’t going to happen. Are you planning on trading for a young star and you need the salary for the rest of the No. Like I don’t understand why people are upset about them paying the contract. It’s not going to have any impact on the Dolphins cap space in 2026. So why are people upset about this? I I don’t get it. It doesn’t bother me whatsoever. But that’ll be it for our Jaylen Phillips discussion on this episode. We’ll get into what’s next for Miami here. But make sure you do subscribe to the channel. Join the family. 60 subscribers away from 77.2,000. Join us for every piece of Dolphins content. and we’ll be live tomorrow for the trade deadline as well. But it does feel like Miami is not done making trades. New interim GM Champ Kelly certainly feels like he will be active before that deadline. Dolphins have a ton of veterans that other teams may like to add to their roster. We’ve already seen one traded in Jaylen Phillips. The next that could go could be the safety Minka Fitzpatrick. Jordan Schultz reported earlier on Monday that the Dolphins have been open to trading Minka, who they obviously got in return in the Jaylen Ramsey Johnny Smith trade. There have been multiple teams interested in Fitzpatrick and Miami is not turning down offers. I’m intrigued to see what his value would be. We’ll talk about that here in a second, but I am fine trading Minka Fitzpatrick as well. I actually said it on a show last week that Miami, if they were smart, probably should look to trade Jaylen Phillips for a third round pick. They got a third round pick. So, that’s a pretty good win for Miami in my opinion. And I would consider trading Ma Fitzpatrick for a third round selection as well. And that would give Miami four third round picks potentially and six inside the top 100. But the reason why it makes sense for Miami as well is the financial aspect of it. Other than Jaylen Phillips, everybody else that could be traded that in terms of Minko or like a Bradley Chub, they’re under contract past this year. Mink has one more year left on his deal for 2026. It’s 15.6 million base salary. It’s about an 18 and change cap hit, but the base is 15.6, but there is no guaranteed money there. And it would become guaranteed in the off season, I believe, but as of right now, it is not. So, it kind of makes sense for the Dolphins to potentially move off of Ma Fitzpatrick both financially and to get a draft pick in return if a team comes calling. And we’ll talk more here, but will the Dolphins make another trade? Let me know your thoughts. Why for yes or N for no? There are four teams that I believe are interested in Ma Fitzpatrick. But I really want to focus on two of them. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, and New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys are the four teams that I see having the most interest, but the one that I’m talking about the most here are these two, the Cowboys and the Patriots. Both teams desperately need secondary and safety help. Dallas needs it more than anyone. And apparently Jerry Jones said today on Monday, that a trade is done and they’ll send in the paperworks on Tuesday. can’t really do it now apparently because they do play on Monday Night Football, but you never know. Maybe it is for Minka, maybe it is for a guy like Bradley Chub, we’ll talk about here. Now, the Patriots are interesting as well because they’re seven and two. They might look to go allin. They have a ton of cap space, so they could take on the contract of Ma Fitzpatrick. No issue. Not that it would be that expensive this season. It would be more or less next year. But, do you want to trade him in division? I don’t know. Is there a tax for that? What would the return be for Mink P for Minka Fitzpatrick? Like I think his value in the league is probably the same about as Jaylen Phillips like Ma’s about to be 29, but he has one more year left on his deal. Phillips 26, but he’s an unrestricted free agent. So there’s pros and cons to I each. Jaylen’s younger at a more valued position in the league, but he also has injuries as a free agent. Minka’s elite top 10 safety in football, but he’s 29. But you also have one more year left on a deal. Like I think it’s fascinating. I expect it to be around the same though. But how about this trade idea? I saw Joe Shad talk about this online and I think it piqued my interest and if Miami could get this done, I think it would be an absolute no-brainer. You do a little bit of a pick swap. You trade a fifth round pick in 2026 alongside Minka Fitzpatrick to get a 2026 second round pick. So you could either trade Minka straight up for a third or attach a fifth round pick to Minka to get a second. I think that’s a move Miami should be jumping at to potentially make if it was on the table because that would now give Miami three picks inside the top 64. It would give them two picks in the second round potentially and all you do is lose one of your day three picks. Yeah, that would help really bring in nice young talent or allow Miami more trade flexibility for the future. I think it’s a trade that if it was on the table, Miami should absolutely look to make. More coming up here in a second, but this episode is brought to you by Prize Picks. The weather is changing, but the football action continues to roll on. And the being right, oh, that never gets old. Keep the season rolling on Prize Picks by getting $50 instantly in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup. How you play is up to you. You want flexibility, choose the flex play where you can get paid even if one of your picks misses. And if you want the biggest payouts, go for the power play. No matter your play, Prize is a great way to put your takes to the test. They also offer injury reboots. One of your players leaves the game in the first half and doesn’t return. Prize picks won’t count it as a loss. I have an entry for Monday Night Football. More than Dak Prescott passing yards, less than George Pickins receiving yards. I think it’s going to be a big CD Lamb day. And I’ll also go more than on Trey McBride touchdowns. That’s my lineup for today. Join me. Hey, download the prize mix app today and use code C LNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code C LNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. We’re going to shift from Ma Fitzpatrick over to Bradley Chub because a lot of the reports are and were that Miami is likely to trade one of Jaylen Phillips and Bradley Chub. Well, could there be both of them actually dealt? Well, our guy Ricky Scoops came back into the fold to take the victory lap on Jaylen Phillips because a month ago he tweeted out that sounds like the Dolphins are open and looking to trade Jaylen Phillips before the deadline. Well, they obviously did. He has been absolutely on fire over the last 365. Well, now he reported on Monday that the 49ers have been calling for pass rushers, especially with their first round pick Mike Williams tearing his ACL, another edge rusher down for the season in San Francisco. They already trade for Keon White, but they may look to trade for another edge. And the players that mentioned by Ricky were Bradley Chub and Germaine Johnson. Sounded like they were in on Jaylen Phillips, but might have not been willing to meet that third round price tag. It’ll be fascinating to see if Bradley Chub gets dealt. He also mentioned the Cowboys are actively looking for an edge. He also mentioned that little Jerry Jones quote a second ago. I’ll start here. When it comes to Bradley Chub, I wouldn’t even consider trading him for anything less than a fifth round pick. And that is purely motivated by financial reasons in my opinion. Right now, if you look on Spa Track, if you traded Bradley Chubb, your dead cap would go up by about 200K. It really isn’t any different if he plays for you or doesn’t play for you in terms of his cap number this season, but it drastically changes in 2026. If you trade Bradley Chub at the deadline, you will have a $23.8 million dead cap hit next season for Bradley Chub. Now, he’s scheduled to have a $31 million cap hit. So, you would technically save 7.4 million, but you could save even more if you waited to move off of him in the summer. What do I mean by that? If you trade or cut Bradley Chub in June of 2026, that dead cap number goes from 23.8 8 to $10 million and the savings goes from 7.4 to $20 million. So yeah, it makes sense. If you do not plan on keeping Bradley Chub around next year, which let’s be honest, he’s not going to be on the roster next season with a new regime coming into town, why not just wait to cut or trade him in June of next year? I know people will say, “Well, let’s get trade value and compensation in the draft for this upcoming year.” But I don’t think it’s going to be that much. Like, if you told me it’s a day two pick, okay, we can have a different conversation. But if it’s going to be a late day three pick, like in the late fifth round or sixth or seventh round swap, no, that doesn’t make any sense for Miami. I don’t think it’s worth taking on the dead cap for one of those late day three selections. But if you did a trade like this and kind of the same vein as the Ma Fitzpatrick deal, well, now we can have a different conversation. If you attach a fifth round pick to Bradley Chub and ultimately get a day two pick in the third round, probably not going to be able to get elevated to a second. That’s something that I would be willing to do. Just like I mentioned with Ma Fitzpatrick, fifth round picks are valuable, but certainly not as valuable as top 100 selections. And you could get another by dealing Bradley Chub. I would be willing to take on the dead cap that we just talked about if Miami was able to get a third round pick, a day two selection in return before the NFL trade deadline. But who’s more likely to be traded? Let me know your thoughts. Get down in the comments section. Type BC for Bradley Chub. Type MF for Minka Fitzpatrick. Which veteran is more likely to be dealt within the next 24 hours? Before we get out of here, let’s briefly talk about other trade candidates on Miami because there’s been a list of six. Phillips gone, Chub and Minka who we just talked about, Judon Wadd and Rousul Douglas. And the one that I want to talk about right now is Jaylen Wadd because a lot came out this weekend, specifically Saturday night and Monday morning or Sunday morning about Wadd and the Dolphins stance on a potential trade there. Ian Rapaort said that for the first time since basically ever the Dolphins are listening and open to trading Wadd for the right price. Now, it was mentioned by multiple sources, Ian Rapaort and Adam Shfter, that the right price is a firstround pick and some. So, if you’re a Dolphin fan concerned about Wadd being traded to like the Giants for a second and fifth round pick, you don’t got to worry about that. It would at least be a firstrounder and more. And if I’ll be real, that’s what it would take for me. I I wouldn’t trade Jaylen Wadd. I think it would be a massive mistake trading number 17. He’s 26 years old. He’s a legit wide receiver, one in this football league. We’ve seen it without Tyreek Hill and three out of the four weeks he’s been dominant. The only week he wasn’t dominant was when it was a monsoon in Cleveland and Tua played his worst game of his NFL career. I don’t think a Jaylen Wadd trade ultimately happens. But if one did go down before the deadline, Miami would be getting significantly compensated with a first round pick and more. I said it on our Monday or morning video reacting to the Phillips trade. Like I think a waddle trade for me to even consider it would be very similar to the Tyreek Hill trade. A first round pick, a second round pick, and maybe another day three pick in the fourth round. Like a first, second, and fourth round pick for Jaylen Wadd. All right, maybe we talk about that. But that’s what it would legitimately take. And you saw Adam Shfter, he says it’s very unlikely, but if a team comes in over the top with an offer, Miami will absolutely consider it. The other veteran that I could see being traded is Rousul Douglas. Corner that will have a pretty robust market I think over the next 24 hours. The Bears could be interested. I think the Cardinals, the Jaguars, teams that need these corners would be interested in Rousul Douglas. Douglas has been phenomenal for the Dolphins this season. I don’t think it would require much. A team could offer a sixth for him. Get him a pick swap or that it’s like a Douglas and seventh for a sixth round pick. Miami currently doesn’t have a sixthround pick in the 2026 NFL draft. So Douglas has been playing great football and I would be very open to trading him to almost do like right by him. He comes in one-year deal is awesome. I would deal him to a contending team if one comes. Colin and if trade does go down, we will have you covered. We’ll also be live three hours before the deadline. Yeah, you heard me. 400 PM Eastern deadline. We’ll be live at 1 p.m. Eastern time. So subscribe and join the family.

Waddle to Dallas for a 2nd in 26???
If he continues to get hurt, we made out. It he becomes what he was suppose to be we got screwed.
Trade Tua for a kicker
Trade Tua and first round swap to Cowboys for Dak 🤪
Both have terrible contract
Been waiting on an update. 😅
Tua trade for shaduer sanders I want
Minkah is worth a 3rd
Chubb is a 5th value
Miami NEVER gets the better end of ANY trade or deal … they are weak on the field & front office
Cowboys said they have a trade in place…I think its chubb
Almost at 77.2!!! Lets go
"BC" easily.
MF or BC are not to be traded.
They have who they need Already.
Neither
Trade Tua
They need Daniel Jones or the Seattle QB.
If we are paying his salary we might as well have kept him.
We could have used the money for a bigger portion of need this year because we are still trying to win as many games as possible even if we don't make the playoffs.
Watch Jaelen Philips become the best pass rusher in the NFL now that he’s on Philly 😂
Y. I'm glad that they traded Phillips because he was always hurt.
the dolphins would be crazy to trade Fitzpatrick to new England. why would you want to make a team in your division better. screw that.
Yesterday, the Dolphins informed other teams that they will consider trading Waddle for the right price according to Ian Rappaport. Don't be shocked if that happens.
Y
Patriots? Better not
YYYYYYYY
Trade tua he is no good
Mike mac Daniel no good out out punk
I'm going to miss my boy best of luck JP
