Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat Full Game Highlights 1st Qtr P2 | Nov 2 | 2025 NBA Highlights

time anywhere. One out of two. Laker lead is 10. Inbound goes to Jake Larabia who again played solid basketball. He’s really found a comfort zone for himself the last couple of games. A lot of trust from JJ Reic. Turnover Austin Reeves. And that is the first Laker turnover. That time little miscommunication. Austin thought he was going to go back to the rim. Junior all the way. Count it. He gathered, flew in, and well, what did they have the other night? 15 15 turnovers, which was much better than the 18 12. Well, marginally better than the 18 and 12 that they were averaging. Progress though, Donic, who had his man in the air momentarily. Again, no Tyler Herro, no Norman Pow. We hear him. Norman Pal may play tomorrow across town at the Intuit. Dodgers six to shoot. Way off. He says, “How about now going to be on the baseline and that’ll go to Miami with 416 remaining here in quarter number one.” I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Luca miss a standstill shot by that margin. How about this Bronnie James early rotational minutes? I think this one is a little bit to do with the ball pressure that Miami is putting full court. See if they have another point guard out that can bring it up quicker. Ronnie’s got to find his offense somehow. That one in and out by Yovic. Nicola Yovic. Yic. Yovic. And he’s not bashful, although there aren’t very many Bashful guys in the NBA. Yeah. Well, Yo is a 30, excuse me, 40% three-point shooter, but he was held scoreless against San Antonio. They hit up on that San Antonio juggernaut the other night and lost 107 101. They were actually Miami down to San Antonio by 15 in the fourth quarter. Battled back and took the lead before fading late and losing it. Luca once again gets the whistle, throws it up, and nearly goes in. Luka. Luca got the first free throw to crawl over. Let’s see if he can get a second one. And then we’ll see what kind of matchups the Lakers going to do defensively now with this lineup. By the way, mentioned that ticket promo. Uh yeah, San Antonio’s here Wednesday. Should be one of the bigger games of the year even though it’s early. We pass along the BL. No, somebody. We’re all in this together. That bus ran over all of us, huh? That’s right. Let’s throw ourselves under the bus. But no, it’s we’re apologize for that. Here’s Smith all the way. Scores. Boy, he guarded the ball well there, didn’t he? Yeah, a little carelessness that time by Luca. Luca doesn’t normally turn it over. That’s Drew Smith. He saw 20 minutes of action the other night against San Antonio. He went to Missou for a couple of years and he’s led he led his team in steals a couple of straight years, so that was no surprise. Luca misses. So Miami battling back. Lakers biggest lead was 11. He have not led in the game. Fonteio and he can really score quickly. Long lead. Touchdown. What a play. What a heads up pass. At the other end, Larson. Down goes Donic. But he comes right back up. Boy, the pace at the heat play. Yep. End to end action. Dodic tries to find Larabia. Threw it away. Bounced to Hakez. Here they come. Blaze into the other end. Hakez Jr. Corner. It’s up. They don’t wait. Rebound. It’s battled for and won by Vanderbilt. He said, “Can we slow it up for a second?” Here’s Bronny trying to get to the basket. Instead, he fires it in. Drifting just a little bit to the left. That was good hustle play that time getting to that loose ball and created a nice open shot. 27 Fonteo will go to the line. Here’s a guy who can shoot. He tied a careerh high and made threes the other night with five straight went to Detroit. He came down to Miami in South Beach. Again, this team averages per night 125. and a half points a game. That’s eight points more per than the Lakers do. And I can understand why they play at such a pace. [Music] Actually, Miami has an excellent defensive rating. Sper is always going to put out a pretty good defensive team. They’re currently rated third in the NBA. Of course, we’re only in week two. This small sample size underneath a hold. Hakez Jr. held Jake Larravia trying to get towards the bucket. We’re under two minutes to play here in the first quarter. We have one player in double figures for both teams for either team. And tell you what, Stu just talked about him a moment ago. Boards, couple of uh assists, and three steals. That’s a nice line in 23 minutes. Came up short on that second attempt. Barely got it to the front of the rim. And Jake, by the way, is fourth on the team in minutes. So, how do the Lakers set up defensively now? A little bit of his own. It does look like a match zone here. Yeah, Smith. And that’s exactly what it appears to be. Right side. Yopic from distance. The box out by Lavia. Vando gets knocked down on the floor. Going to be on Miami. Trips to the free throw line again. This time for Jared Vanderbilt. I’m Mr. Optimism. Come on now. You may you may be Mr. Optimism, but you never said yes or no. Mr. Optimism means both. Okay, that’s the translation. All right, I’m halfway home, aren’t I? Am I halfway home? I’ll give it to you. I’m Come on, Bando. It’s my guy right there. That’s my guy. Front quarter come the Heat. 3830. Highscoring quarter for Los Angeles. If you play Miami, you’re going to get a lot of those. Oh, they take it away from Weekend. Good defense by Van. Threeon one. Left jam. Bronny. Bronny on the break in the jam from AR. War. Bronny climbed the ladder on that one. They came to see that, didn’t they? Here’s Hakez Jr. underneath the score. And now it’s the Lakers taking it right out of the net. They’re caught up in this pace. Lakers sometimes a much more deliberate team. They’re very good at the half court. Reeves, stop, go, stop, shoot, foul. Oh, another look at that play by Bronny. The Lakers get out in transition and Austin says, “I see you.” Bronnie says, “See this up with two hands climbing that ladder. Crowd really enjoyed this play coming from Bronny James.” realize those are the first points of the year for Bronny James and it comes on a highlight dunk. No, he hasn’t played that much. I’m not but again the Lakers would like to see him get into some sort of rhythm of course. Well, he’s just not an aggressive thinking individual for himself. He thinks team almost to a fault. There are times when I like to see him, you know, just play like he would be at the uh on the playground, you know, just go ahead and showcase some of your skills. Well, playing tonight already means he’s played it. [Music] [Applause] [Music] How’d you do this weekend football, Ste? I have no idea. I know you don’t. Here is Loravia. You just said that cuz you know that’s my alma mater against your alma mater. We didn’t even we had no wager on it either. Here is connect James. Oh, shake and bake it. AR drives. Kick brought three. They try to save it. It goes to Hello, I’ll take it. And then they nearly steal it again. Well, one of the things when you try to save it under your defensive hoop, sometimes you get that with the pace of this game, it’s going to be high scoring. Yeah. Marquez Jr. Here he goes again. Boy, what a leader he was on that Bruin team that made a nice run a couple years back. Quarter is over as AR tries to knock it down from the back court. Yeah. Yeah. Well, the Lakers, as you mentioned, put up 43, but
