The Memphis Grizzlies on the first half of their backto-back taking on the Toronto Raptors on uh Sunday while the Detroit Pistons ready waiting and rested at 4-2 straight up and against the number this season taking down that the Dallas Mavericks last time out 122 110 and that that ended a four-ame home stand for Detroit. Now, they do go back out on the road here where we’ve seen, you know, mixed results through two games from the Detroit Pistons. You know, they lost to the Chicago Bulls 115 111, then came around and flipped the script and did the same thing, won by the exact same score against the Houston Rockets at 6 and a half point dogs. So, we don’t have much of a sample size to see what the Detroit Pistons are through those first two road games, but I still think that the Detroit Pistons are, you know, one of the upand cominging, the ascending teams in the Eastern Conference. and a team that I definitely have as a top five team in the Eastern Conference. I’m not afraid to say it. I think this is a team that, you know, has all the right pieces and is going to be a team that you have to kind of keep an eye out for and watch out for. Now, Detroit in this game does have Tobias Harris list as questionable. You have Marcus Sasser and obviously Jay Ivy still listed as out, but I still think that, you know, the Detroit Pistons, like I said, are in a good spot here. The Memphis Grizzlies have yet to submit their injury report obviously because they are on the the first half of the back to back on Sunday. But I’ll tell you, you know, the Toronto Raptors just flat out took it to the Memphis Grizzlies in that game. You’ve got a lot of dissension going on with John Morant clearly unhappy. You know, um you know, there’s just injuries across the board. And I just feel like the Detroit Pistons, just like the Raptors were on Sunday, I feel like their core just makes the Detroit Pistons the better team here. And the Detroit Pistons last year were one of the teams in the NBA that were one of the best road favorites when you look at their ATS numbers when laying points. You know, they were simply outstanding. I mean, Detroit 11-7 against the spread last season. And you know, I think that this is just a spot where, you know, the Detroit Pistons find a way to get it done. You know, laying two and a half or even on the money line, whichever you whichever you choose. But either way, it’s Detroit for me in this game. And that’s going to be my free pick.
