Glad Svech is getting more ice time to hopefully get more goals and points. Just hope Ehlers gets going and Jarvis stays healthy
Whack. Why is Hall on line 1. Switch him and Jarvis.
I think Ehlers could thrive with Blake and Stank.
rod never beating the killing offensive talent allegations wtf is this shit
Gonna pretend I didn’t see this
I think this is the chaos they were talking about a couple seasons ago.
Well he got 1 line right. Christ
Jarvis not on the top line is crazy these days. I know he does well with his dads but he is wasted offensively on that line at this point.
This isn’t true Rod Blend’amour until I see Martinook on the top line
Uh…what? We had one lackluster offensive game. What the hell is Hall doing on line 1? He has had some brutal mistakes recently.
I honestly like trying Ehlers on the second line with Stank and Blake, but what the hell is Jarvy doing on the 3rd line? He and Aho both had long point streaks playing together. That’s honestly the most shocking part for me. Pretty absurd change in my opinion
My best guess is that Rod felt like trying to balance the lines out a bit in terms of weight/physicality. However this is certainly not the way I would have done it
Jarvis – Aho – Blake
Ehlers – Tank – Svech (speed kills)
Hall – KK – Nadeau
Jank – Staal – Marty
IDK why Rod hates scoring. Separating Jarvis and Aho, unless it’s for injury management purposes, should result in Geneva convention sanctions at this point.
Against the grain, but I like this.
Jarvis has been productive on that line before. Dropping Ehlers gives him a different look and potentially pumps up Stank/Blake. Svech bumping up could help spark him.
Early season line shake ups are completely fine. Try it out and see what you get.
ITT: people freak out 11 games into the season
Man, some of y’all are insufferable. It’s the beginning of the season. It’s okay to experiment a bit. It’s not like these lines can’t be changed throughout the game.
Y’all get way too bent outta shape over this stuff. Svech came alive after playing with Stall and Marty. Jarvis has slowed down and this seems to be a move to get him refocused on what’s important to this team. The goals and points will follow. Yes Hall makes more sense on the Staal line if you only think about the offense. But if the goal is to get Ehlers going with stank and Blake while also getting Jarvy tuned up, then Hallsy has to go somewhere. And you loons would have a fit if KK was up with Aho and Svech.
Quit pretending like Rod doesn’t do this every year. We’re injured and looking for the right combo to jump start as many guys as we can. I’ll trust Rod over the arm chair GM’s.
It’s worth giving Hall a look on a top line. But I’ve been loving him on the lower lines taking advantage of the lineups. I’ve haven’t seen a ton of games this year yet but I like what I’ve seen from him this far.
I don’t understand why this sub always gets up in arms when players shift around. Rod plays every line by the situation required there isn’t a true 4 line system here. Hell if you’re being technical the staal line is line 1 starting every period. It’s November guys we are allowed to change up the lines to get guys playing together before the playoffs.
Let’s fucking go. I’ve been BEGGING for svech on the right side for so long
Top line Hall is surprising, but I guess it makes sense. With Jank and Nadeau in, we’ve got to play them on the 4th line. With KK playing wing, we’ve got to play him down there too. We’ve been needing to put Ehlers on the 2nd line and I’ve been wanting 27-22-53 for a few games now.
That leaves Svech, Jarvy, and Hall to plug into the 3rd line. Hall doesn’t belong on the Staal line. Svech and Jarvy have both thrived down there, so that leaves the 1st line open for Hall as the only place to slot him.
Jarvy going to the Staal line is surprising though. Svech has been good down there and Jarvy likely still carrying his injury doesn’t really open him up to the more physical aspect of that line. I’m assuming Rod’s only put Jarvy down there since Staal and Marty will do most of the hitting for Jarvy, meanwhile Svech can open up that forecheck for Aho and Hall.
Idk, we’ll see, but these injuries are seriously killing us. Need to get a d-man back ASAP. And we need to monitor Nadeau. With a shot like that, I wouldn’t be opposed to Svech-Aho-Nadeau on the 1st line with KK-Jank-Hall on the 4th.
Time for the goalsheviks to see our boy!
Been saying Ehlers should get out with Stankoven and Blake for a few games now I think it’ll fit his style better. Not sure on splitting Aho and Jarvis up but maybe they’re giving him less minutes for some rest after he limped off the ice.
In this thread: Lots of people pretending Rod won’t have all this in the blender by the end of the first period.
I would love to see Ehlers – Stank – Svech at some point. Mathematically speaking I’m sure the dice will land there at least once.
This is just practice right? There isn’t even a game today.

Henkel setting everyone (more so specifically the Head Coaches of X) straight
A lot of people seem to be forgetting that we don’t number our lines.
In Rod We Trust, y’all.
That Ehlers, Stank and Blake line could be so sick
Holy Blend’Amour Batman. I’ll be interested to see how these lines look
Interesting to say the least. Nikishin on the top line has me pumped.
