  1. Alight let’s stop with the cope, I’m not happy either. On to the next season I guess.

  2. The Giants made their championships in a cave, with a box of scraps. Will always be proud of what they accomplished.

  3. Anyone can win it if you sign every MVP and the top pitcher from every league on the planet

  4. Of course it was better. We didn’t cheat the system to buy the best player to reload our team.

  5. We built our titles through the draft and traded for smaller pieces to fill out what we needed.

Posey, Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner, B. Wilson etc all drafted by SF. Sandoval signed as a kid and went through the system. We added smaller pieces through trades like F. Sanchez, C. Ross and Scutaro.

The Dodgers bought their World Series. Traded for Betts and Glasnow. Signed Freeman, Ohtani, Teoscar, Snell, Yamamoto, Sasaki. The only guy who really came through their system is Will Smith

  6. Dodger fans been talking mad shit lately rightfully so but still very very annoying

  7. The Giants were never considered favorites in any of their runs. They had to overcome insurmountable odds with players that were either homegrown, cast offs from other teams, or under the radar role players signed on the cheap. They did this against teams that were better than them… and they did this 3 times. That is fucking impressive. Way more impressive than anything the Dodgers did recently.

The Dodgers won their rings with juggernaut teams filled with the most expensive mercenary free agents available. The Dodgers did not win with a lesser roster on paper written off by the baseball media that went on a historic run. They won as everyone predicted they would. They won by outspending the competition, exploiting luxury tax loopholes, and buying a super team.

I know it sucks right now and this a bit of coping but I take solace in the fact that the Dodgers will never be a “beat the odds type of Cinderella story” team like the Giants were. Their fans will never get to enjoy the unexpected experience of a championship run that overcame the odds

For the last decade, they’ve either been a super team that’s confirmed everyone’s preseason predictions of winning it all or a super team that’s crashed and burned and choked against lesser opponents.

  8. Man, if that centerfielder had dropped the ball after steamrolling the left fielder, that would have been the most amazing end to the series 😭
