I mean, that’s a point blank chance that he’s able to take away. Just very aggressive and assertive in his crease. This is power. Two things you need. You need creativity, but you also need structure. And players know exactly where they need to be to set up to work their magic around the perimeter and then open up the lanes to attack the net. This is a great power play goal, James. They have the execution in terms of their passing along the outside. Then they attack the net with a shot. You have to have net friend presence and create a screen. That’s exactly what they have and they capitalize as a result. The Blues deliver an absolute back breaker with that goal here late in the second. Well, and this is a huge play right here. Just recognizing the tempo of the game and being able to dictate it. He’s done it all night. St. Louis has shown no signs of slowing down tonight.
