And everybody this morning is like, “Well, what do you think of JJ McCarthy?” My take on JJ McCarthy, he was good on script. First quarter, 141 passer rating. Rest of the game, his passer rating was 38. I’m buying the coach, Kevin Oonnell. I’m buying Justin Jefferson. But JJ McCarthy, I felt like I was watching Michigan JJ McCarthy. Don’t screw it up and make one big throw. So Kevin O’Connell has made Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold look like first ballot hall of famers. JJ McCarthy on script with this brilliant head coach and Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison and this Pro Bowl left tackle. He’s very good on script and he he deserves credit for it. And at the end of the game, JJ McCarthy made one great third down throw.

Didn't think I had to say this but they had years of experience in the NFL before coming to MN. Obviously JJ looks like he did in Michigan he is still a rookie in my eyes due to the injury last year. Development takes time. Would you like me to show you Josh Allen's stats his first three starts. They are not very good that's for sure!
Colin….Darnold is also having another great year in Seattle. You can't reduce his success to O'Connell.
