That’s a commercial slate.
It has the production house that produced it. Countdown clock, client, isci code, spot name, duration, aspect ratio, Closed captioning indicator, audio processing and date produced. Someone at fan duel is not doing their job. You should never see that.

Former TV master control operator here.. advertisers send their commercial spots to tv stations with a 3-7 second slate on the front end. The slate contains information about video format and the spots ISCI code. Master Control operators are supposed to “dub” these commercials into our systems and cut the front end slates off. Sometimes the spots are cut improperly and the mistake isn’t caught before air. That results in viewers seeing this slate.
I’ve seen it several times tonight and can’t believe fanduel MC hasn’t caught it. Usually I’d get an angry call from a manager within minutes of a slate airing
Since no one else has said so, I also saw this. Watching on fan duel on a Roku TV.
it looked like it was before every Motivatin’ Manning (🙄) commercial, I assumed it was part of it
Fan Duel has been all around wonky so far this year. It doesn’t want to play on my tablet but will play on my phone (most of the time) and Roku fine. Have tried all the usual fixes (force stop, reinstall), nothing has helped.
Haven’t seen this particular message yet….but am sure I will soon.
MLBs app is wonky crap too….these leagues make billions every year. How hard is it to make a working streaming app? If 100 different free streaming apps can make it work they should be able to easily…you know?
