  1. Is Kyler the more skilled QB, yes. But Brissett is the better fit for the main players on the roster. MHJ and McBride are middle of the field, intermediate range specialists. While Kyler CAN throw over the middle, that’s not his strength due to his height, but more importantly, it’s not his natural tendency as a player. When under pressure, he scrambles. I don’t mean that as a bad thing, you can make an offense with a QB like that. But it works best when you have a bunch of speedy receivers who can run very very fast. But again, we don’t have that type of receiver.

Brissett is the “worse” QB skill-wise, but his natural tendency is to step up in the pocket. Of course, it’s because when running, he looks like he’s in a Baywatch movie (slow motion), but it allows him to hit those targets over the middle, getting the ball into the hands of our best players. He’s a good stop gap, but is still a backup for a reason. He has many flaws as a player that limits his, and the offenses upside.

But most important, he’s an example of why fit matters just as much as BPA. And for drafting QBs, it should be well established and accepted that environment and fit matter more than just draft stock. This QB class coming up doesn’t have a lot of high end talent (on paper), but there are mobile pocket passing QBs that can be developed. Do what the Giants did. Let the rookie sit behind Brissett and take over when he’s ready.

Also, MHJ 96 yards… Petzing is just trolling us at this point.

    Also also, fuck the Cowboys

  2. Defence was incredible all game. Nolen with one of the best defensive debuts I remember seeing from a Cardinal.

Offensively I just think the offence just looks more polished. We have looked good for 3 weeks in a row, I don’t see how you can change this till forced at this point.

  3. I think the offensive line said it best “it’s so fucking easy” with Brissett.

Dude stands in the pocket to makes throws, throws even when he’s going to get leveled, can actually run a qb sneak.

The front office has to be thinking to make Murray a healthy scratch from here on. No way you want his roster bonus to get fully guarantee if he’s injured.

  4. Joe Buck and Aikman destroyed Kyler on air and they are saying nothing but facts.

HOW do you go back to Kyler after these 3 games.

  5. Death, Taxes and the Cardinals putting Belt to ass on the Sorry Cowboys!!

8-1 in last 9 meetings, we still own them!

  6. Death, Taxes, and the Cowboys getting belt to ass by the Cardinals for whatever voodoo magic reason

  7. What a fantastic win. Our offense looked very good until the 4th quarter, but our defense sealed the deal with big time sacks, a fumble, and an interception! I love you Calais! Sealed the deal on all our wins

  8. This is what I expected from the defense this year. They have the talent to be great. How about the rookies? Walter Nolen was fantastic tonight and so was Will Johnson, but I was impressed with Denzel Burke just competing his ass off and Cody Simon made a play when he had to step in for Wilson.

  9. Appreciating the lack of ego from Brissett. Wow on the defense! Nolen, Baker, Calais some dawgs. Great work all around, and I love that McBride and Marv had their moments

  10. Feels good to win again everybody is going to dick ride Jacoby but Nolan is the true hero of AZ.

  11. This team makes fandom difficult, but fuck me I’ll take a primetime win whenever we can get one.

  12. Colts fan, I come in peace, I just wanna say that Jacoby was my favorite of our QB carousel and I will be so happy if he finds a place with yall. He always seems like just the nicest guy

  13. Remember when they mentioned that Jacoby has been willing to stay after practice to help get reps with the other receivers?

  14. Monti has given us a lot to look forward to with this rookie class, nolan looks like hes the real deal same with Will. Burch has been solid for us and simons had a key play with the strip not to mention burke is playing decently. Much needed from monti if he can do that with the offense this offseason we are gonna be really good.

  15. Thank fucking god we can finally put to bed the extremely idiotic, “YeAh buT BriSSeTt STiLl DoESn’T WiN gaMeS” takes

  16. I absolutely LOVE the 4th down call at the end of the game.  Chance to win instantly vs a long FG thats nowhere near a guarantee that doesnt change the situation THAT much (obviously it helps a little but not dramatically).  That was the call Bruce Arians made 100 times out of 100 in our 13 win season.  Hell the play was even there, Brissett just missed the throw.   Please keep showing this aggression Gannon 🙏

  17. Saying this once for the Kyler truthers

The offense is called differently with Jacoby because Kyler can’t run the actual offense Petzing wants to run. He cant make reads, he’s a bad decision maker and the coaching staff isn’t going to put him in a position to completely fail, they want to try and win with what they know he CAN do.

Just ask yourself… It’s Kliffs fault, then the roster building, the receivers, then Drew Petzing. At what point are we holding Kyler accountable for poor play? He’s had six full years. That’s almost unheard of when it comes to that long of a leash in the NFL. And for good reason – that is more than enough of a sample size. The team looks alive behind Brissett, they play hard and have had a chance to win in every game he’s played. Like what else is there to discuss?
