Mini Movie: TOP 10 Games at Midseason

Mahomes keeps goes touchdown Kansas City. That’s about as demoralizing as it can get for Jacksonville. There was really no flinch or blink when you’re down 14 nothing. The toughness and resiliency is really something I’m proud of. You’re down two scores, but you can’t abandon the plan. They got to come away with a touchdown on this drive. So, here they are knocking on the door again. Dropping is Trevor. Fires left corner of the end zone. The ball’s going to be caught for the touchdown and Jacksonville is on the board. Dropping is Trevor steps up. He’s going to run it. Trevor to the 5 yd line. Trevor stays on his feet into the end zone. Touchdown. Trevor Lawrence. A 10yd touchdown run. And Jacksonville is in the end zone again. Dropping is Mahome fires middle of the field. Ball’s intercepted. The ball is picked off. He’s put it on tape through training camp. He’s put it on tape throughout the season. He popped out. But I mean that that was one of our zero blitzes that he was one of the guys that shows to get the O line to kind of squeeze and then he pops out to the passing strength over there and just had another unbelievable play and a critical moment for us. Really proud of Deon Kareem Hun is the running back. He’ll get it again. Trying to bounce the right side. He’s into the end zone. Touchdown Kansas City. 145 to go in the game. The Chiefs lead 2724. First and goal from the one. You got no timeouts, You got 30 seconds to go. Trevor under center. Oh, he slipped and he fell down. Trevor fell down. I mean, just panic, honestly, cuz I was trying to get up to get the ball out of my hand. So, the clock, I mean, we didn’t have any timeouts, so just try. I was really going to just stand up and like launch out the back of the end zone, but then I had a little bit of a lane, so I took it and, you know, score from there. He did it. He had his own touchdown. Trevor ran it in. He ran it in. Touchdown. Never seen a play like that in my life. Hey, it’s just another step for our for our team. I think showing up on a big stage does say something. You know, it’s a big game. Yeah. I mean, what a crazy crazy finish. Jaguars had lost eight straight to Kansas City. Jaguars are now 4-1 with their rookie head coach. [Applause] Not much we do is truly the most pretty thing in the world. But guess what, man? Guess what? Guess what? Winning feels good. Winning feels real good. Down 14 nothing. Come back one play at a time. How about Deon Boy? We have an elephant in the room and it name is Micah Parsons. Micah Parsons tonight is on the opposite sideline chasing his former teammate Dak Prescott. Keep it simple. Connect and communicate. Dominate. Let’s go. Wind on three. 1 2 3. Snap to love in the tight pocket. Wson it over the middle. End zone. Touchdown. Romeo DS. And the Packers in front. Oh my goodness. Romeo DS again. What a night for Romeo. Snap to Prescott. Fires it left and it’s stopped. Pickicket circles away. 10 five. Pickicket. Tylon. Touchdown. 28 yds on the touchdown with 43 seconds left. And it has been the breakout night for George Pickkins. He has been sensational tonight. Can the Cowboys defend for 40 seconds. I’m just going to reference the New York Giants game. It ain’t over yet. Oh no, it’s McManis to tie the game from 53 yds. Operation clean. Kick is right down the middle and we will go to overtime. It was a 12 round fight like on both sides like I think both sides could have played better. Prescott gets away. Parson’s chasing him. Puts it up for grabs. Coming back is to he keep his feet in. Yes, he did. That is an unbelievable play. Parson’s on the field. He’d love to have a closing exclamation point moment. Dak play fake looking. Here’s Parson’s chasing. There’s only one thing for me and I told y’all from the beginning. All I know is go. It was just about killing four. Sweaty palm stuff here for the Green Bay Packers. They are one play away from walking away with a loss. The operation right there just took took too long. You know, we were wasting too much time right there. Um and then that was really it. As Love takes the game right here. Whips it. Love to the end zone. It is broken up with one second to go. That was so poorly managed. They almost lost the game. Here is Mcmanis for the tie. And this one ends in the second highest scoring tie game in NFL history. You know, it’s a tie and uh I really don’t know what to say about that. See, I always believe in you. You stay healthy. I’ll see you soon. Love you. Jones eaten about 11 bananas tonight. 11. That’s definitely wrong, but I think I had three. an inept 49er offense missing everybody against the fabulous Ram defense. One thing I’ve learned, be careful with just expecting LA to blow out San Francisco. McAffrey shifts out from under center. Max Jones takes and he throws. It’s a touchdown. Max Jones throws. McCaffrey, he’s got it. Touchdown. And it’s 14 to nothing NerS. You know, they brought me here um to play as a backup and that’s my job. And you want your backup to go in there and win cuz at the end of the season that could be the hit or miss between a playoff or not. So we’re calm. We’re going to keep doing it. Stafford blitz right in his face. The throw goes right alone at the 10. Touchdown Kairen Williams. Second down and goal. Ninth play the drive. Stafford left side caught. Kiran in again. His second receiving touchdown of Thursday Night Football. The Los Angeles Rams are on the high side. Come on, baby. Got to have an extra point here. Right footed boot is blocked. Oh no, the Rams don’t take the lead. The field goal operation crashes again with 67 seconds left in regulation. Rams down a field goal. Kyron Williams, they trust him with the handoff. He waits for a crease. Drives down the house marks. He fumbled it. The Ners are saying they got it. Oh, and he just punched it out from Kyrie. No way. Can’t do nothing about it now, honestly. Just like I said, continue just keep getting better. Y’all made mistakes, but you know, I feel like mine was the one that let the team down. Hey, to stay locked in on fundamentals of defense. They haven’t stopped us yet. We stopped ourselves from 48 to send us to overtime. Overtime, it is a game of inches. Got a fourth down and one. He’s playing for the win. They didn’t just try to draw him off, call the timeout, and then bring out the field goal unit. Nine is still out there. They’re still playing to win. you could just tell the way that they had lined up that they they were going to run the ball. You know, if they line up and they’re a little bit looser, um you may have the chance to have some sort of play action pass uh on that play, but you could tell by when they came out that they were they were going to run. It’s a bad call. It’s a bad call by me. Just abysmal night of self-inflicted mistakes tonight at Sofi Stadium for the Rams. I’m pretty sick right now. Now, I’m sick of the spot that I put our group in um to end the game, but um hey, these are the tough beats that you got to be able to learn from and move forward, and that’s what we’re going to do. The 49ers came in as the walking wounded. Show up every time, bro. That’s why football is the greatest team sport. You guys have my back. I appreciate it, man. IGB. Yes, sir. Here we go. Family on three. 1 2 3. On this cool midocctober night in Cincinnati, the Bengals take the field, hoping to resuscitate their season with their new man in town, 40-year-old Joe Flacco, ready to take on 41-year-old Aaron Rogers in the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Rogers back to pass, looking, pumps to the left, now rolling to the left. Now he’ll roll back to the right. All kinds of room out there, surveying, looking, throws towards the end zone. Touchdown Janu Smith Rogers throws a bullet. Glacco lost one. Jamar Chase makes the catch. Touchdown Bengals as Cincinnati ends the streak of four games without a first half touchdown. You ask about Jamar in a franchise record 16 catches in a game of this magnitude is spectacular. He comes up so big in those moments and he’s so hard to bring down. So it’s not even the catches. Sometimes it’s the yards after the catch. So every time he gets the ball in my hands, it energizes the whole stadium because everybody thinks he’s about to score. Action fake by Rogers looking to throw it deep and it is picked off. The Bengals intercepted. I mean Aaron Rogers just aired that one out. Flaco drops back fires over the middle. Caught by Higgins. He’s at the 15 10 five. Touchdown. Bengals. T. Higgins sprinting up the middle of the field between the hash marks to give Cincinnati the lead. Rogers gets the snap back. The pass looking left throws and it is complete to Metaf. Oh, wait a minute. DK Turner comes. He thinks he has an interception. I think 20 ended up pulling it out of DK Metaf’s arms and has the interception if he got his feet down. He definitely got the ball out. After a crew discussion, the ruling on the field is an interception by Cincinnati. And not only will the Bengals styy this drive and get the ball back, they’re going to get the ball to start the second half. Rogers has time, throws, caught. Pat Brier for his first score of the season. Touchdown Pittsburgh Steelers. Bengals up by three trying to extend the lead and the pass is caught for the touchdown. Noah fans the Bengals tight end with the touchdown catch. He’s got the eyes of just a locked in quarterback. Blackco now for 237 yards, three touchdowns. You know, to be honest, it was shocking to me. Andrew Barry must be a lot smarter than me or us because it doesn’t make sense to me to trade a quarterback that you think enough of to make your opening day starter uh to a division opponent that’s hurting in that area. But that’s just my personal feelings. Play fake. Rogers throws and that’s hauled in by the big man Washington. I think we’re set up for another wild finish. I think you’re right. Rogers has 36 career gamewinning drives. Rogers avoids the sack deep downfield. Caught at the 35 yd line and going all the way to the end zone is Ryer moves. Touchdown Ryer Moose. What a play. 68 yds. Rogers with the late magic. Who is going to make a play to help Aaron Rogers in his pass game? You know who it’s been tonight? Pat Frier Moose. This is such an emotional game, but like sometimes, especially as a quarterback, you got to just take that out of play and just go play football and not worrying about the result in the moment. Just playing the play and getting our guys in position to go win it. Flaco who has 29 career come from behind wins. He’s got time. Blackco down the sideline caught and sliding to a stop at the six is Higgins. That’s brilliant. I mean, if you want to win, you going to slide. Yeah, if you want to win, you going to slide. Money is ready. Rico puts it down. The kick is up. It is good. And the Bengals have a two-point lead with 7 seconds left on the clock. Winding up as far as he can throw it into the end zone. What’s going to happen here? Knocked down. Never a dull moment in this one. I’ve been through enough of these to wait until that clock hits zero to be excited. It came down to the wire just like we we know it’s going to and really happy about how the guys just kind of stayed with it for the full 60 minutes. It’s a lot of fun and it’s a lot more fun when that clock hits zero and you’ve gotten the job done. And the Bengals have knocked out the Steelers on Thursday night by the final score of 33-31. 31 tell you for 47 for 342 yards, three touchdowns winning. [Applause] Let me see. Understand? Keep this feeling right here. Right here. Keep this feeling. Maintain this level of inticity as we go. Let’s go do this. Who lead? Who they think you leading, man? Who they Who they going to be? Who they Who they Who they going to be? No. [Applause] And the play action fake dropping. Mayfield wants to go deep downfield. Has a open ball. Ibuka inside the Seahawk 40 yd line. Under center Baker Mayfield pitch ball back to the left. Got a convoy to the left side running Rashad White inside the 5. 321 Buccaneers get the first touchdown of the game. 12 nothing Tampa Bay. Darnold looks, fires inside, ball is caught. Touchdown Seahawks in the first half, you know, being down 13 nothing. The way that we, you know, kind of came back in that two-minute drill and scored and then we were able to score right away, you know, coming out of the second half. It was awesome to see. Holy catfish. I don’t know what they had to drink at halftime, but give me some of that Kool-Aid. And the Seahawks are a point away from taking the lead. Dropping it though. Mayfield. Looks toward the end zone. Those O’Dart caught ball. Touchdown Tampa Bay. Touchdown Buccaneers. And IA makes another touchdown grab. What a remarkable rookie. Ran a great seed route and it appears the Buccaneers are going to go for two. He’s wellrounded and not just in football in life. I think he’s grounded. He’s genuine in everything he does. is intentional and you just don’t see that often and especially as a rookie with the talent that he has, you really don’t see it often. So, the Buccaneers lead 21 to 14. Here’s a third down and goal. Play fake. Sam is going to roll. Darnold’s going to throw back. Touchdown. Seahawks. AJ Barter. Third and 13. Mayfield deep and he’s got a caught inside the five. 56-yd throw. Mayfield under center pitches the ball to the left side running left side. Touchdown. Easy. And the Bucks lead 27-21. First and goal caught at the three and AJ Barter touchdown Seahawks. Seven consecutive touchdowns scored. Fourth down and two at the Tampa Bay 21. Sam’s going to look. Sam’s going to get hit. Sam’s going to throw. Sam has a touchdown. I don’t know how he did it, but Sam Darnold, you are a magician. just going through my progression and and kind of late in the down just scrambling. You know, Tory Tory ended up being wide open and I was trying not to trying not to throw him out of bounds. Trying to put on his back shoulder a little bit so he can turn up and and get in the end zone. And now the pressure goes on to Tampa Bay. The back is white. Mayfield to the air. Works the block. Buying time into the end zone. Caught. Touchdown. Touchdown. It’s Shepard. Whoever has the ball last is going to win this game. We got to go again. We got to keep going. Second down and one. There’s the pressure. Here’s the pressure. Hands intercepted. Passed off at the 35 by Leonte David. I was just trying to throw it away. I think it might have deflected off the helmet. Um once I saw I was going to be hot to my left, I just tried to throw it away. I got to protect the football in that situation. Can’t give him a short field to to put the game away like that. Chase Mclofflin and the Bucks win it. It is good. And the Bucks beat the Seattle Seahawks. The games we’ve had so far this year, as long as we have time on the clock, we got a chance. And our guys truly truly believe that. I know it was high scoring, but in the end it was complimentary football that won us game. Great game, dog. Bro, we could not stop you. We can’t stop you, bro. Dude, sir, always do with the water at Ohio State. Enjoy yours. Here they go to Kairen Williams. He’s in for the touchdown. That is 26 unanswered for the Rams after the Eagles scored a touchdown on their first drive. We talk an awful lot about mental toughness and relentless effort. And there’s something dangerous about a team that just doesn’t stop coming after you regardless of the circumstances. Second down, Brown endzone. He’s got it. Touchdown and we have a one-sore game. So they go from third and two to having to settle for another field goal. Joshua Cardi has it blocked. It’s Carter. That big paw. The Eagles have come to life. It’s all Here we go. Fourth and goal. They look to throw to the sideline. It’s Smith. He’s got it. Touchdown Philly all the way back to take the lead from 26-7 to 2726. Rams looking for revenge right here. This is for the game. Hold your breath. They blocked him the last time. Cardi officially from 44. The ball is spotted. The kick is away. It’s blocked. It’s blocked. It’s picked up by the Eagles. The big man looks for the icing on one big cake. George Davis. Are you kidding me? Locked them again. Are you kidding me? Locked them again. Have you ever seen anything like this? Do you believe it? I am proud of everybody not giving up and everybody being determined to find a way to win the game. And um there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that someone was going to make a play on that field goal, especially looking at those two Georgia guys lined up next to each other. The way we talked about it on the sideline, we knew, especially off his last kick, we knew his angle. We knew uh his launch point when it’s at 30 yardd line somewhere around there and uh we just hit the gap, put our hands up at the right time and then I seen the ball on the ground and then at that point I knew it was a no my situation, but we just took off from there. I wanted possession, so wanted to make sure that we ended the game right. Didn’t know I was going to go that fast. You know, I was going to make it all the way to the end zone. Just started running and my legs carried me from there. It’s the home opener for Dak and the Cowboys in a classic matchup as they take on the New York Giants. Russell Wilson second start with the Giants. A disastrous week one that had him calling for his job already. So now the Giants are going to go for it with 250 to go in the game. Wilson going in zone. Robinson. Perfect throw. Touchdown New York on a fourth and four with a 32 yd touchdown catch of the Giants are back in front. It’s a pass end zone. Pickkins. George Pickkins gives the Cowboys the lead. Hey, next we got to got 3430 with 52 seconds to go in the game. Russell Wilson goes back out there having the best day he’s had in years. They bring a blitz. Wilson in trouble. Steps up. has room to run. Russell Wilson into Dallas territory. 33 seconds. Wilson protected. Heaving one. Wants Neighbors. Malik Neighbors. Touchdown Giants. He dropped it in the bucket from 48. Wouldn’t make plays. They never I know tell me nothing. I know they need to get to the New York 48 to get to where Aubryy’s career long is. I’ll remember this one forever because of the fight of these guys. The way they didn’t quit, they just kept believing. Trying to hit from 64 yds. Aubrey, does he have enough on the way? It is good. Hell yeah. Thank that guy. Think I even gave him a kiss on the forehead. On to overtime. Wilson deep ball. Oh boy. Throw it up for grabs and it’s intercepted. Ill advised from Russell Wilson. One on two. Prescott to look to throw. I told you I could run. Rehab went well, man. Feel good. Feel good. Aubrey got it into overtime and now wins it. What a ball game. Cowboys and OT. Turpin Dag and a touchdown. Yeah. Javant a touchdown. Yeah. Miles Sanders had a touchdown. Yeah. Woo. Pick and Dagot got a touchdown. Yeah. Wait for it. This field goal kicker. I tell you what, [Applause] 51 yd field goal. Yeah. 44 yd field goal. Yeah. 64 yd field goal. Yeah. Wait. In overtime. With the walk-off. 46 yd. [Applause] Power eye formation. Mitchell Pton in front of Henry. Give it to Henry. Running out. Henry to the 30. Henry to the 20. The King to the 10. Touchdown, Derek Henry. Wow, that’s deflating for this Bills defense. Giving up 41 points on the night. I mean, down 15 points, whatever we were, five, six minutes left. Fans leaving, you know, the stadium. We don’t look at the scoreboard. We just try to go out there and execute our our play. Two Ravens pursuing and Allen throws, deflected and caught by Coleman on the tip for six. Jackson under center going to hand it off to Henry and he’s bottled up. The ball is out. It’s loose. It’s Buffalo ball at the Baltimore 30 yd line. Allen taking a shot downfield. It’s hauled in. Jackson Halls. Allen reaches over the goal line for the touchdown. They were down 15 a short time ago. Have rallied. And now a field goal could win it. Allen unloading, throwing. That’s Palmer out of bounds at the 35. They’re in field goal range. Baltimore brings some pressure and Allen throws. It’s caught on the run. Coleman Keon Coleman tripped up at the 9 yd line and he will come on to attempt a gamewinning field goal here. Honestly, I I met him in the uh locker room two days ago before the game. He comes up to me and just said, “Hey, I promise you I’m going to give you everything I got tonight.” Trader made it and the Bills with a stunning comeback win. Baby, how we doing? How are you doing? Doing good. They have ruled a Chicago touchdown by DJ Moore. And it is a backb breakaker for the Cincinnati Bengals. Flaco over the middle. Flaco’s pass intercepted. Could not come at a bigger time for the Chicago Bears. Just been a crazy day. This thing ain’t over yet. 40-year-old gray beard quarterback playing with the AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. Speaking to coach, we knew that this an explosive offense. They can score at any moment. You know, we get up by two touchdowns. Don’t don’t feel good or comfortable or anything like that. And the Bengals will go for two with 143 to go. Flaco end zone. It is caught. Higgins. The Bengals are down by six. They’re going to try for an onside kick. McFersonson lines up looking for the bounce. football live. Cincy is saying they’ve got it and they do. Unbelievable. Shotgun snap. Flaco throwing it deep downfield. Higgins holds on to the football. Oh, world snitch. I mean, this is just incredible. And this Bears defense holding on for dear life. Flaco ready for the shotgun snap. Short drop firing into the end zone caught by Andre Yosh. Joe Fleco bringing the Bengals back from the dead. Improbable Joe Flaco. Iceman, you’re my boy. And here comes Caleb Williams. Boy, what a disastrous loss this would be for the Bears. You know, you’re up two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and you know, they get the onside kick, they take the lead and it’s easy to fold and our guys didn’t do that. That’ll be a first down run for Williams of 14. the desperation to keep his Bears team alive here in Cincinnati. Plays called seen basically from split safety. So I’m thinking, you know, I got a pretty good chance getting this ball. Caleb, I mean, delivered it right on the money right in my chest and happened to like kind of spin around, man. I’m still up. So, uh, may as well go try to score this thing. I saw I think it was 28 starting to track him down and I was like, let’s go, Colton. Pick up the legs and get in the end zone. You’ve you’ve took it the distance now and go finish the game. Holston Lovelin in a jaw dropper and the Bears finally turn out the lights here at Cincinnati. And another meltdown by the Cincinnati defense. This is one of the craziest games we have seen in the NFL in recent memory. We just got to play complimentary football. Like we put the ball in the end zone and go up a point at the end, finish game like this. End it. Good. Never let it rest. Never let it rest. Good gets better. Get back. He better get back. On three. 1 2 3. Big hole. Galloping. Touchdown. Touchdown Giants. A stunning display. Me and the boys are over there. I see one of them kind of kind of counting. I’m like, you know what? It’s probably best we don’t do that cuz a lot of numbers you’re going to have to count to. Let’s just play one play at a time. And sure enough, we all smiled and nodded and just went on to the next play and went on to the next drive. And you just kept making plays and kept making plays and kept making plays and everyone got into a good rhythm. We’re just resilient. We just got a resilient group and we got a tough team. It doesn’t matter how it looks. It just matters if you score. Two-point conversion time. Now Bo keeps it. Throws a ball that is caught in the back of the end zone. And the two-point conversion is good. Caught by Courtland Sutton. It’s now the Giants 19, the Broncos eight. They bring pressure up the middle. Clark back fires it over the middle and it’s caught off a deflection. Theo Johnson’s got it. 20 10 5 to the goal line. Touchdown Giant. You got to be kidding me. Third down and 17. The ball deflected up in the air off the hands of Well Robinson right to Theo Johnson. Kind of a crazy back and forth game. When you got later into that game, we struggled for sure at least twothirds of the game offensively. I was proud we fought to get back in it. The Denver touchdown. Giants have led the entire way. Going for two right here. picks with a block by bet to the end zone. Caught for two cuz now all of a sudden a 10-point game of five minutes ago. It’s not unheard of, Kevin. So, it’s a third and five. They come up the middle. Heavy pressure and the intercepted. It’s picked off by Stern. He breaks a tackle. Breaks another now inside the 20. Oh, disaster. What a play. We found some momentum and our defense found some stops. Got a huge turnover and all of a sudden we just got some life back. Thought we could win the game. Nicks chased by Tibido. Backpaddling touchdown Harvey. And the Broncos are back in business. Dart on third down and eight. Here they come. They bring five. Dart to the air. No. To Robinson. Nicks to the air. Bulls with the block. Nicks going long and caught by Mims. First down. It was dope to be able to watch and be a part of such a non discouraged group of guys that went out there and just laid it all out on the line. He’s inside the 20 based on a designed quarterback run. Bo is at the 10. B is at the five. Touchdown Denver. The Broncos have their first lead today. I never felt like we were going to lose the game. You know, I looked at the clock when they scored. Got a lot of time left. I had no doubt that we were going to go down there and score. Fourth down 19. Dart. Here they come. Here he goes and it is bobbled and caught. Robinson reels it in. They get 19 on fourth and 19. Robinson comes up big again. First down. Oh, and 15. Ruffing the passer. Kevin. Oh my goodness. Guard again, the time, the throw, and going for the rookie and incomplete. And a flag thrown at the four in the middle of the field. Is that Payton all the way out with the officials? He’s down at the 2 yd line out on the field. He’s got to be careful not to get a flag. He just got a flag. He just got a flag. I just wanted them to hear me. Can’t do that. First and goal. Dart will run it himself and dives. Wow. And the Giants are back on top. You need to get the extra point because Denver’s going to have a chance to come down and try and kick a long field goal. He missed earlier. And oh no, he missed that one again. Two missed extra points. It’s a two-point game. The Giants on top. The Broncos will have it. Coach actually called me into his office and was like, “If we get into this situation in the game, I got to play and it’s going to work.” Nicks facing fourman pressure in the pocket. Throws a ball for Sutton who goes up and makes the catch inside the 25. The play that he was showing me wasn’t the play that we ran. It was just the concept and idea of what he envisioned. Like he just sees it. It’s like a different language for it to be the play that that puts us in position to go take the game with a field goal. I mean, it’s amazing. The final play to Sutton was the play we installed yesterday. The first live breath we got was what you watched. So, Courtland Sutton is just the man. That’s all I got to say. 2 seconds left. They’re going to try a field goal to win it. 39 yd field goal for the win. He got it. Denver is one. So improbable. Everyone in this building knew we were playing for more than just us today. The amount of games they were decided by, you know, one to three points. Points are at a premium in this league. We were on the right side of it obviously and it feels a lot when you’re on the right side of it. I don’t even know how we scored 33 points in a quarter. That’s kind of insane. It’s impressive to win a game like that. It’s not easy mentally to continue to fight like that. Giants had their opportunities and then they just the rest. Good chances to win the game. Didn’t do it. It’s frustrating. Not a lot of talking that needs to be done when you lose a game like that. It’s just been one of those years, folks. How would you just describe that fourth quarter and the finish to this one?
