Lakers vs Trail Blazers | Lakers Highlights | November 3, 2025

[Music] Dalton Connect gets another look again. Lots of shots and lots of minutes to be had for this five Marcus like Miami did last night. Marcus Smart first possession all the way in to score this year. DeAndre Aton has been out a couple back and he hits. Their last game was a nice surprise win over Denver as they beat him by two points. Come away and win this game and somebody’s got to handle the ball. Got to be a primary ball handler. Connect. Long lead. It’s going to be taken by Ruie to throw it down with a left hand. Standing right in front of us. We are courtside here at the Motor Center. Aton turnar around jump shoting the big fell. I think I said earlier in case that’s a Star Trek thing underneath all behind the defense again. Five starters have scored and the one that hasn’t may lead them tonight when it’s all over. Lorravia shorten his dribble. He got it eight and very few goes up a little jump hook and scores. Finds him underneath. Good pass out for Ruy Hachima. This is his bread and butter as they say. He is not a straight line player. He’s changing direction to prevent that. One points in the loss last week to Portland as they battle and it’s taken by Vander towards the rim after the bounce. Now Jake’s got it in the lane. Windshield wiper move. Get close to that tie of course but the Lakers desperately want to try to keep it under 20. Connect have an opportunity. Ruie attacking. Can’t score. Connect right before the buzzer. Ronnie Ronnie trying to go baseline bounces. Ruy on his way and Ruie Portland Oregon. Ruy’s in very deep clean automatic and is for Lakers this quarter. DeAndre strong all the way left hand the hand off. He delivers. Yes. Two different color shoes. You didn’t answer under want to challenge the trees underneath. Ruy again. What a half. I know when he is behind the arc. He has 14 points. All the way to the basket goes Nick. Not going to do much. Although he has had double digit three-point attempts the last couple of years. Hello Nick. Got all five bench points. Is it going to be more? Looking for three. Nick had in Minnesota. This is even better. And he’s playing blocked by Vando. Connect takes a kick from eight. Beautifully done. He’s got a little 14 footer and he scores a smarts on the ground in on defense. Jeremy Grant alone out on the wing. He gets hit by the wing and it’s blocked. Breakaways that Portland was getting and converting at the rim. So they did like how that cleaned up. And then overall in the second quarter, the defense clinging trying to get it away from Aton. There’s that sweeping hook in the lane. They’ll get another opportunity. 14 back on the shot clock. J good hand off to enough to win that game. It’s funny. They both shot the same percentage from the field. Nine for 22. Smart boy. Very quick to the other end. Follow it up. DeAndre, it’s a nice return for him to Portland. Threeon one. Nick Smith the left. Oh, and it goes in short. He knew it. Nick Smith has been a catalyst. Up ahead for Smart all the way. Lakers lead. Smart. Lakers up by one. Nice back. Pull it down Jake. Smart going to fire right over Williams who didn’t give any resistance. It’s been a decade. Same thing. Loria reverse land. Now Jack clean it up. You got to get in your action. The bench is letting him know it. Pull up from 17. Delivered by Austin Reeves. Lorraine is on the floor. Bronny’s going to pick it up. He’s underneath. Gives it to like a bowling alley. Bronny finally gets enough control to get night 73 on the out. I’ll tell you something. Nick Smith. There’s Nick trying to get around clinging now. Bry underneath. A good pass and the corner with three Smith. Is he at it again? He is holding on to it. Here comes Jake holding it on and he just kind of goes underneath and score Jackson Hayes. Good play. Saved that time by Bryant. Loria trying to get around Aia. Here he goes to score. Him is going to be in when it’s dead. James outside. Got it. Yes, sir. You’ll be in in a moment. Stars can beat the clock. Bry rebound. James underneath percent. Every night it seems 50% over. Nothing but net. The defense gets a pick by the way on the outside. Nick going all the way. Nick scores there. Get your tickets. Here’s Kamar lobing it. Boy, they bottle up. Clinging. Aia needs help. Finds Jeremy Grant. always a threat offensively. Now off the bench travel gives it to Van Go bounce now Ruy Hatimera pull up for 15 obvious play 30 minutes has 24 points out Marcus Marcus didn’t appreciate the no or not at all he said let me talk to him turns and the elbow comes up a little bit do not mess with Marcus you immediately spinning a score offensive offensive Navy is there. He just jumps into the body. Clear that defensive glass. Don’t give him another chance. Could this be a foul? No, it’s on the Blazers to Aton. He’s got it with five for four. Ronnie, good pass. Eighton scores. Sharp blocked by Aton. Get that out of here. Back goes James all the way. Can’t score. Rebound. Aiden does score. Good work by Dion Jake. It’s his birthday today. And it’s also another bucket for number 12 [Music] to where nobody was. Turnover. Here comes Marcus. Drive kick. Dick Smith. Yes sir. Now he’s going to have to bring it out again. Again. Yes. Why not? Yes. Why not fire with 14 on the clock, 16 on the clock by the youngster. You got to love the passion Laker fans of number 204 it across and they do to eight and he’s underneath and he scores. Rui Hajimura baseline jumper. It’s nothing but net. Nick Smith lob to Zack. Ladies and gentlemen, say good night. Laker fans on their feet. None bigger than that man right there. Nick Smith Jr. [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] [Music] [Music] Nat. Hey. Hey. [Music] Hello. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music]

  2. So lucky to have those talents with us,Laravia and now Smith jr. This guy is a winner I hope he gets regular minutes he has huge potential 😍💜💛 go Lakers great win

  3. Insane! Best game of the season night #2!
Nick Smith Jr definitely found a new home in the P & the G.

Lakers proving that they don't need anything or anyone other than great coaching, grit and determination to win!

Larry O'Brien Trophy here we come!

  4. Rui regaining that mid range magic is something he's been missing since last year. Past couple games, looks like he found that magic again and I'm loving it

  5. Rui deserves to be recognized…been a consistent asset this season and always gets the flak when Lakers lose. But, who is #20? Came in unknown and played like a star.

  6. This was a massive win with a statement! Rui doing his thing as usual Deandre Ayton another great performance and not leave out the bench tho Nick Smith jr with his 25pts! and Bronny his defense and assists were on point! This how you get it down without our elite players Purple nd Gold!!!

  7. Just glad you picked the right branch of service 😂. I was in the Air Force they will take care of you. Basic training is all mind games in the Air Force, enjoy the food especially the chicken fried steak!

  8. With all of their stars sitting out, this game proves (and yes, I know the season is still fresh) that the Lakers are a TEAM. Who could have predicted a starting 5 like this so early in the season? This pours cold water on all the haters who doubted Ayton, Rui, Knecht AND Bronny. And what can we say about Nick Smith?! What a game! Shout out to JJ for keeping the faith and lighting an almighty fire on this team from top to bottom.
