This weirdly makes me a little bit sorry for him.
Wonder how much hes wanting. But to me its sad how fast he fell i still love the guy.

I think everyone is looking at this wrong. He’s not doing for money. If he was hurting for money, yeah that would be sad. I think it more of a way for fans to connect with Russ.
There’s still a lot of Russ fans out there, not just the player but the person.
This honestly makes me sad. Guy was absolutely on top of the world for years and has been made a joke.
Guys, Russ is rich as fuck. He’s not doing this out of desperation; He’s doing this because he thinks it might be fun or do good or something. I doubt anything he does on Cameo will be quite as cringey as the “broncos country, let’s ride” BTS or the Dangerwich commercials. He’s not George Santos who has hit rock bottom and needs Cameo to sell his soul to capitalize on his infamy. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gives all of this to charity or something.
Don’t feel sorry for him. Either have fun with it or don’t.
This wouldn’t be sad if he had just hung them up a while ago – then it would just be a “cool, Russ engaging with his fan base”, now the optics are a desperate man (even if that isn’t the case)
I’m not a big Wilson fan, but that’s just kind of sad. And most of all….Why? Usually it’s washed up actors and musicians that need the money and/or the ego boost. We all know he doesn’t need the money. Is he really that emotionally needy all of a sudden?
My son has become a Wilson fan simply owning his jersey we got thrifting. Kinda cool of him tbh
