Jacoby Brissett OVER Kyler Murray for the Arizona Cardinals’ FUTURE? β‘οΈ MNF REACTION! π₯ | Get Up
J-Mack is going to sing for you before the program and we’ll see how we do. Frankly, no matter how badly this thing goes, it can’t go as badly as it went for the Cowboys in their own building last night. Oi, what a disaster. We got Dak and the boys. We got no Kyler Murray for the Cardinals, which candidly at this point seems to be for the better. Opening drive, Cowboy Cowboys go right down the field and then on a fourth down they go for it and this happens. Yeah, this offense is what’s going to drive this team. If they can’t make plays, they’re going to be in trouble. Now the other side. Cards have already field goal. And now just this move. J-Mack, take my mic. I don’t like you on side. Don’t make that move on the sideline. Marvin Harrison had seven catches in that touchdown last night. Now more trouble. Jake Ferguson. Ball is going to pop out. Buddha Baker is going to recover. And look who’s going to be frustrated up in the booth. It’s not just Jerry Johns, but look at that. Steve May’s just witnessing a calamity of errors in pleasure. But he missed this. The Cowboys best of the night as that’s Sam Williams blocking a punt with his face. Marshawn Neand recovers. It literally hits him in the face. How does he stay up after? He got helmets, Green. He doesn’t have helmets to play. All right, so it’s 10-7. That was the only touchdown the Cowboys scored in the first half. Meanwhile, Cardinals are non plus. They go right down. Brousette punches it in. It’s 17-7 Arizona at halftime. Third quarter. More of the same. Brousette, Michael Wilson, J-Mack. Where’s the defense? The defense is hanging out on the sideline. It looks like right now. Guys running wide open. And Nick, you said it. It was only a twoman route and still that open. And open again is Trey McBride for the touchdown. Dominique Cardinals go up big. Yeah, it got him in isolation. He’s their best receiver most of the time and Jacob Ret throws it to him most of the time. 247 is the score. Dak again in the scoring area. Down he goes. Sack repeatedly Saturday. Five sacks last night. Cowboys get goal. It’s 24-10. They still don’t have an offensive touchdown to the fourth quarter. Cowboys going for it on fourth down. Nate nothing. Oh yeah, this I I don’t know what the timing was off or whatever, but yeah, CD’s out there waiting for the ball to get there. It’s an easy play to make. Denzel Burke breaks it up. Jerry Jones can’t believe what he’s seeing. They do force a three and out. They get it back and finally the Cowboys find the end zone. That’s Ryan Florenoi. Cowboys cut it to 2717, but it’s much too little, much too late. Desperation time. Javvante Williams going to lose the ball. Cowboys had three turnovers on the night. Kobe Brassette just goes right through them and the Cardinals stung the Cowboys, snapping a fivegame losing streak and sticking a fork in the Dallas season. 2717 the final. Dak Prescott afterwards not happy. very frustrating uh knowing when know knowing that you’re better than that and going out there and not and putting a performance close to your standard or even the expectations or or what you thought you could do and expected to do um against this team and they kicked our ass and and and both sides of the ball um limited limited the possessions early. Tremendous tremendous disappointing for obviously for our fans. Uh thought we would play better than this. We just uh came out a had a good game plan. Cardinals did very disappoint about all I can say about it. Well, so we have a lot more to say about it than that. You can see we have our technical issues sort of working on it here. We got the microphones ready to go everywhere and we had a meeting this morning and I’ll just take you inside of it. We tried to figure out how many different ways can we say the Cowboys just aren’t any good and if they were wearing any other uniform. We have to be honest about it. And we talk about the Cowboys because when we do our ratings go up. The reality is the Cowboys are a bad football team and this morning there’s only so many different ways to say that. Yeah. Look, I if they’re going to score 17 points, they’re not going to win with that defense and and seven of those points came on a punt block. So, it was a bad night for the offense, which the Cowboys cannot afford to have. They’re working on the defense. They made a trade already today. Uh they’re planning to acquire Logan Wilson, the linebacker from the Bengals, in exchange for a seventh round pick. That should help, but I do think they need more help on the defensive side of the ball. If they run into a game like they did last night when Arizona was able to shut them down with a defense that’s getting healthy, um then they’re they’re in trouble. The offense is going to have to score 30 plus points a game. Yeah, we we we’ve been talking about this at Nauseium, but the reality is offenses can’t carry in the NFL what you’re asking the Cowboys. every week. And I I told you last week, you frustrate me sometimes because of things that you I don’t care how good your offense is. To to stay at the level where you’re scoring 30 and 40 a game is nearly impossible. And now you tack on big plays behind it. You feel pressure to try to go make things happen from from the offensive side. It does not tend it does not lend itself to winning football. So we talk about the playoffs. People talk about being be, you know, being good enough to make the playoffs. You can’t do it just basic based on offense alone. It just does not work in the NFL. That’s that’s obviously true. But here’s the point. If you’re in Cincinnati this morning and you’re an offensive player, you have reason to be mad, right, at our defense. We did everything we could possibly do and you guys let the game get away. The Cowboys have no such feeling this morning. Cowboys offense was awful last night. The Cowboys scored zero offensive touchdowns until the fourth quarter against a team that is not the 85 Bears. I said yesterday, the Cardinals are better than most people realize, but that’s not a great defense. The Cowboys, their offense has been good this year. Last night, they scored zero offensive touchdowns into the fourth quarter. And I think the point of that, not only the lack of scoring, but sorry, not only the lack of scoring, but also the sense of they’re turning the ball over. You’re getting in scoring position. You have two fumbles, had two one interception, another one that should have been by M. Wilson. Not only are they not scoring, the underperforming from the course of the game, you’re not even giving your defense a chance. This goes back to the point that Jeff was making is things aren’t going to work perfectly. Sometimes things aren’t going to work out as according to plan. You got to roll with it and make it happen when you get that opportunity. For them, the offense wasn’t good, but they also had fumble after fumble. Like those are the unlucky things that going to happen. and you need big plays or your or your defense to step up and they got the block punt and you’re like, “All right, this is going to be the thing that’s going to spark their resurgence, but it’s just not quite enough.” But that’s the problem, right? That is there’s no margin for error when you’re constructed the way the Cowboys are. You can’t count on lucky things happening. You can’t count on the breaks all going your way. You have to be insulated against it. And we see the same thing going on with Cincinnati. You can score as many points you want. You can’t stop anybody. So, that’s where the Cowboys are. They’re they’re they’re very good at one thing, which is scoring points. Last night, they didn’t do it well, and there’s nothing for them to fall back on when that happens. Yeah. I I liken this to the Bengals last year, right? This is this is Dak. This is Dak and you know, Joe Burrow kind of as a couple like me and you right now. And the bottom line is they they didn’t make the playoffs. They had positions that are being led. They lead the NFL in a number of positions. It don’t matter. You ain’t winning football games in the NFL the style that they got set up. Can Can I just shout us out? We talked about You never know what’s going to happen. You got to be able to adjust how we’re adjusting early on. Top of the showering out. That’s a great image. Hold on one second. Sydney, come into this one. And yeah, Jeff Saturday ESPN. Yes. I don’t want to say that we’re desperate, but we just traded for Logan Wilson. That’s exactly what the Cowboys need. Someone from the Cincinnati defense. Anyway, Troy Aman was watching the game last night. He was paid to do it. he had no other option. But obviously when it comes from him, it feels a little different because he is a Cowboy legend. He’s there and he’s close to the situation. And after the game, he didn’t pull any punches when he was summing up what he saw. It’s not a good football team. I mean, Bill Parcels once said, “You are what your record says you are.” And and their record says they’re not a very good football team and and average at best. This is a this is a big blow to this this franchise and and this team because, you know, they really felt coming into tonight playing Arizona at home. they’ve played well at home, that they would win this game. They’ve got the buy coming up, then they travel to to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders, that they could kind of dig out of the hole that they had dug themselves. And I don’t know what the trade announcement is going to be tomorrow that Jerry Jones has announced that they’ve made one. Uh but it’s hard to imagine that that that guy, whoever it might be, is going to make a difference for this team. They’re they’re much further away than that. But that was all kind of predicated on being able to win this game and feel good about things as they go into the buy. right now. Uh there’s not a lot to feel good about. No one there feels good. And we’ll talk much more about them as we go. I think there was one more you that’s there’s only so many different ways to say this team is bad. The idea they’re going to make the playoffs. How many more did Who was saying this morning they have like four national games in a row coming up at this point. They play That’s what I mean. Yeah. I mean the they should be the anticipation was that this was not going to look like this. And obviously when you start a season by trading your best player away, it is go it is going to dim some of the resolve and that’s what we are seeing. Thank you. Like we just we all just want to just absolve the front office or how they handled the beginning of the season. Listen, it it hurt their football team. Whether you believe it or not that Micah Parsons could make a difference or one player, he can. Like you don’t understand like the value add when you have a player like him that’s that dynamic on a defense. It makes your backfield look better, makes your linebackers look better. Now, again, they struggled last year. How much better? I don’t know. But when you’re trading away your best players, literally moments before your season starts, it throws a bad it’s bad in your locker room. I don’t care what anybody says. Can you overcome it? Sure. You got good leadership. But it it all starts in the in the ownership and front office. And that’s the part that makes this this this product look like it does. And he’s a splash player who makes splash plays that change games. So, while the course of the entire season may be on a downto-own basis, your defense would only get so much better, but their sack fumbles that you’re missing out on, their drive killers that you’re missing out on, their turnovers that you’re missing out on. We’ll talk more about them as we go. There is a note to be made on the team that beat them yesterday. What was the thing you said to me this morning about Jacobe Brassette? He he has to be the guy moving forward. The way he’s played over the last three weeks as the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, you’re watching Marvin Harrison Jr. last night destroyed this Cowboys defense early on in that game. You cannot turn away from Jacobe with how this offense has performed. Just look at the sheer number. Get away from everything else. Look at offensive points per game. The more points you score, the bigger chance you have to win the football game. And Jacobe is doing that. Is Kyler Murray’s contract tradable Dan Graciano? No. And certainly not today and probably not in the offseason. He’s got $36.8 $8 million in guaranteed money next year. And if he’s still on your roster in March when the league year starts, then another 19.5 million kicks in for 2027. I don’t see anybody trading for that unless they put Kyler Murray back in and he lights it up over the second half of the season, which they probably won’t want to trade him. Yeah, it it seems tough to picture. Kyler has he I mean, maybe they’re better as a team right now, but Kyler Murray has incredible highend ability. like we’re a year removed from him having explosive games. Like I understand he this contract didn’t come out of nowhere. I get that the idea that maybe he’s not the quarterback for them at this moment. Like Kyler Murray is an attractive trade piece or an attractive quarterback for someone who believes that they’re a quarterback. Maybe an attractive quarterback but not an attractive contract. So if and I’m not saying they are. If the Cardinals get to a point where they decide to move forward and it happens fast, you’re probably looking at I’m telling you right now, dude, they’re not I I I will be shocked if they move away from Kyler Murray. I’m telling you right now, as good as Jacobe Brassette’s playing, we’re talking about three games, four games, like that’s what your backup quarterback is supposed to do. Come in, give me four games of good play, solid play. I’m just telling you though, like that’s a massive move away from Kyler M. I just I I don’t see that long term. We’ll have this conversation as we continue this morning as well. We’re clearly we’re working through our technical difficulties. We’ll do the best we can. The Cardinals. Who saw it coming yesterday? Well, it’s an obvious answer. I saw it coming yesterday. I told you all the time, but this one was actually almost too easy. The Cardinals, the point spread told you at the beginning of the week. Vegas knows the Cardinals are a better team than the Cowboys. And candidly, so is almost everyone else in the NFC. Goggles, by the way, Fox, I see you there. [Music]

Dak is not and never was "elite".
I appreciate Greeny saying when we talk about the Cowboys no matter what I ratings shoot up.
They lied to Dak about the MVP π€£ and now here they are.
I had a 7 leg parlay (6 NBA, 1 Cowboys) and the Cowboys were the only one to lose. Would've hit for $2,200
KM sucks lol. it is what it is. 6 seasons in & weβre still talking about what he βcouldβ be.
Getting someone from the Bengals defense who's defense is literally just as bad… really? God you can't make this up!!! God I hope Jerry Jones continues taking whatever blood or ritual he is doing to keep himself alive π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
Talk about failure you can even get your mic to work. π€‘
Brisket is a high end backup/ bridge QB, but he is not a starter.
Not all Money is Good Money… Jerry Jones
Every time the Cowboys lose, and Angel gets his wings. π
"MICROPHONES; GET UP"ποΈπ₯π€π₯…
Bet the Cowboys miss Micah now.
The Cowboys were done when they traded their best player.
COMEDY OF ERRORS! It's not calamity! Stop sounding like a doofus!
Jerry is the worse owner/GM the worst there is in the whole league NFL the very worst
The mic issues are embarrassing. Just cancel this segment!
Jerry has said if there's no storyline or drama in the Cowboys he'll make it. He cares more about being the topic of ESPN than winning games. Worst GM in the NFL. Signs players late just for ESPN to cover it. Which affects the salary cap. Got in his feelings over Parsons. Didn't sign Derrick Henry when we had the chance. Didn't help the defense all off season. Nobody in that locker room wants to play for Jerry. As a cowboy fan im glad Jerry will never see another superbowl.
If I was a coach and I was watching players celebrate after a touchdown and being behind by 10pts having done nothing all game, I'd be seething.
Regardless of mic issues, stop playing loud background music when the guys are speaking!
this show is absolutely watcable because of the π Dominique Foxx thank you sir always an awesome take make much more sense
Fire OC, fire the getup audio engineer too
2:51 βthe Cardinals STUN the Cowboysβ¦β legit made me πππ
Jerry Jones is and always will be the problem. Cowboys are not worth talking about are not a factor in today's NFL.
Cowboys are cooked i love it!!πππ
Where's all that "MVP" talk about Dak now??ππ he'll never be better than Hurts EVERπ¦ πͺπΎπ€ GO BIRDS!!!
Unreal – Jerry traded for a defensive player from a team with a defense thatβs just as bad β¦ wow β¦ and a player that was benched LOL
Yes trade the midget
Disney desperately needs that YouTube TV money. Can't even afford proper audio and sufficient mics for ESPN.
Brissett is injury prone himself, so be careful putting all your eggs into that basket.
Mic issues bruuuuuuuuu π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘

Dak…you are not better than that…..you are what your record says you are…3-5-1
Kyler if traded or cut will go somewhere else & ball Cardinals have been a crap organization for some time
The Cowboys only have 4 playoff wins last 28 years , yet the cowboy fans come out every year like its still the mid ninetys. They Stink π
Those ESPN budget cuts are clearly hitting too deep. Chances are some worker bee will get disciplined or fired when the executives made these technical difficulties happen. It's always the executives.
ESPN anchors are like the Cowboys. Havent been relevant in 30 years
Everyone know K. Murray was never the guy in Arizona!!! he is not a starting QB in the NFL they need to move on from him.
How do the cowboys have more games on T.V than most others teams when they are beyond terrible and their games aren't even good to be worth the ratings
30 Plus Years And Counting ππππππ
Jerry we can stick the fork in you little gloryhole meathead.
