  1. As much as I despise eber-lose he did have a shitty roster the first years. No excuse for last year though.

Ben walked into a gold mine with a beastly offense and a very serviceable defense (well, pre injury bug).

  2. A win is a win, good teams beat bad teams.

Take down the Packers and Steelers please. Beat someone with a decent record.

  3. Man how can someone be that bad of a coach and get an NFL HC job? The millions of dollars ppl legally steal.

  4. With a harder schedule too. Granted injuries helped us, but Eberflus really benefited from a simple schedule

  5. I support the current coach, but you could have said almost the same thing about Trestman’s first year. It took him 9 games to get 5 wins. Ben’s good, but this stat line comparison js garbage.

  6. Totally unfair comparison. Flus came in the early stages of a rebuild.

That being said, Flus this year probably has the Bears at like 2-6. I have no confidence that the Bears win this year’s close games under Flus.

  7. The biggest thing that I love about BJ is that he’s winning despite several roster issues. He’s continuing to develop Caleb and others while we’re still winning, which is a very hard thing to do in this league. Our defense has probably been the worst it’s been since I can remember, and yet, guys are still making plays. Whatever he’s doing, I hope he can continue it!

  8. Eberflus can’t even run the cowboys defense. Ben is changing a mindset. We are in the superbowl soon

  9. One thing I said about Flus in the past is now proven completely wrong. I used to say he was horrible on offense but runs a good defense. Cowboys showed me that Flus doesn’t do anything correctly.

  10. To Flus’ credit, he has a collection of unused time-outs that blows away any coach in the league. /s

  11. Ben Johnson is 100% a better coach but I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. Eberflus took over a team that was at the beginning a the rebuild and Johnson took over a team that’s at the end of the rebuild

  12. Good coaches can have bad records. Look at Andy Reid his first couple years with KC. Eberflus was just a bad coach with no redeeming qualities and completely lost the locker room.

  13. Eberflus’ 1st year isn’t that fair given the team was complete trash. But the contrast between them is stark regardless. BJ is a bonafide offensive HC and Flus is a glorified middling DC

  14. Yeah, but Ben is reaping the rewards of the solid foundation Eberflus built during his two year- BWAHAHAHAHA!
