Are you required to purchase food or drink ?
What would be a good number of autographs to ask for , thinking around 3 or 4

no you aren’t required to purchase food or drink, but it’s typically the expectation that you would if you’re spending an extended amount of time in a pub. I don’t think they’ll force you but it’s not great etiquette.
the number of autographs they’re willing to sign might depend on the alumni. again I don’t think there’s a specific limit and Al will probably sign them when asked but tbh after 1-2 it does start to give off the impression that you might be selling, which is frowned upon.
Anything more than 1 autograph seems insane to me
I did the event in Shelburne with Iafrate. You don’t have to buy anything, but it’s expected, and kind of rude not to. Iafrate walked around and introduced himself, you can also walk up to him and he’ll sign anything. Super cool guy. Besides that you get food, enter raffles, and watch the leafs game. It was a fun outing.
He was willing to sign both my leafs jacket and his rookie card.
