The man deserves some credit last year he had 1 interception despite playing 17 games. So far he’s at 4 which is tied for the league leader with none other than Kevin Byard.

2023- 4 interceptions

2024- 1 interception

  1. I had penciled him as the easiest post 25 cut. But at this point, he’s staying. Could even see an extension to push some cap down the road since he’s still super young

  2. I love that it’s never a “clean” interception either. The camera pans over after the QB throws and there’s a mid-air sprawled out Edmonds picking it off.

  3. Anyone with football eyes know what Dennis Allen is doing differently with Tremaine? Feels like he’s everywhere this year.

  4. Crazy how much better he is in this system over eberflus system.

    Him and byard are balling.

I was also salty Wright stole a pick from Byard from the hail Mary. That’s the second time Wright’s ass robbed Byard of a pick I think. He was also the uncontrolled bafoon who ran into Byard picking off Ratler for the second pick of the game.

  5. And he should have a pick 6!

I agree with everything Hoge and Jahns were saying yesterday. To rule him down by contact is such bullshit. The receiver was trying to catch the ball, the only contact made was when he was reaching out for the ball and his fingertips grazed Edmunds. He wasn’t trying to tackle Edmunds, he wasn’t trying to bring him down. The receiver probably didn’t even know it was picked off until Edmunds got up and started running.

Intentional post-possession contact. That’s what the rule should be.

  6. he’s been playing at a pro bowl level. thought he would be off the team next year but with how he’s playing under DA we gotta restructure him

  7. He’s over paid. I’m thrilled he is having a good year, but he’s still overpaid and one of the reasons we can afford an fing pass rush.

  8. Absolute baller, just bought my Edmunds jersey yesterday, favorite player on the team next to Rome

  9. I think Edmunds is playing as well this year as I had ever seen Roquan play for us. Not better… but as good. I think Roquan has always been asked to be more of a tackler while Edmunds has been asked to drop back more in coverage, so it may not be that fair of a comparison, but Edmunds is definitely playing elite ball right now.

The ball skills though, holy shit! I can see Ben getting his ass out on offense for a snap or two every once in a while.
