Is this a strategic move by the Blues, or is the Lucic experiment over so he's just looking to stay in the game even at the AHL level? It'll make Friday's TBird game interesting for sure.

  1. My reaction is he’s healthy again after getting hurt in the pre-season, so this is his chance to stay loose and prove he’s still got some juice in the tank. Nobody else is going to take a shot on him, and with Dvo looking like the real deal and RobTom back, we’re one Jakey away from having too many forwards at the big club. Let him grind away in the AHL for a bit, get in a groove, and give him a chance if/when the time comes and we need a lineup shakeup due to injury/us still sucking.

  3. He was so slow in pre season. Genuinely looked like he was moving in slo mo. And at times he seemed like he had literally no idea what to do with the puck. I get that he had an injury, but I wish we would end this experiment.

  4. I think that they are just giving him a chance at the AHL level, maybe catch on with a NHL team when injuries pop up (Blues included). 

    I also get the sense that they don’t want to eat the Texier contact, or he probably would have been gone already.

  6. Some veteran presence in pair with Rosen should help the T-Birds adjust. Plus if it’s helping him stay healthy and rehab the injury he got here it’s all good in my book.

  7. I wondered if parking him with the TBirds was a way of seeing what he can do post-injury and keeping him as insurance. I’ll be interested to see how much he contributes the next few games.

    the t-birds:
    – cannot win a game to save their lives
    – just lost dvo to the big club
    – gave away sam bitten for a bag of pucks
    – lost ellis to buffalo
    – and now they’re being plagued by lucic

    justice for springfield 💀 i guess it can’t get any worse, throw the alleged abuser in the mix

  9. After watching Lucic’s attempt at hockey during pre-season, I legitimately think I can skate faster than him, plus I’m 6’4 240, six years younger, and I don’t have any allegations against me. Can I have a PTO too?

  10. Can’t wait to watch him get danced by the rest of the A and hopefully fade off into the sunset where I never have to watch him skate ever again. Seriously fuck that guy
