Waiting for some news

  1. Dang it you beat me to it lol I had a similar thought but I like yours better with the handicap symbol lol

  2. We literally need one thing and that is an elite edge rusher. It is 99% not going to happen. Every other current gap has players on the roster that should come back this season. Don’t hold your breath waiting on a move. This roster got a lot younger this off season and some of that talent is playing really well. We need another strong draft to be in a great position for success next season.

  3. I am not expecting any moves for this team. We don’t want to trade anymore picks away as we gotta save them to continue trying to bolster our pass rush and OL

  4. After seeing what indy just gave up for sauce, there’s no way I want the niners to give up what everyone thinks it’ll cost for Hendrickson. That said, im still hoping they can try for any 1 of the 3 edges in NY (giants)

  5. Maxx Crosby & Trey Hendrickson on their way! We’ll give up two future 7th round picks.

  6. They’re not trading today. They just traded for Keion White and Bryce huff is coming back soon.

  7. The way players are going out weekly, is it even worth giving up picks for someone? We don’t even know who will be alive by the last game

  8. Don’t expect any trades. While some delusional people may think we’re still gonna go to the Super Bowl with this critically injured roster and a supposed “easy” schedule, The fact is we are just too injured in key positions and this retooling has been a failure as even the the new rookies are getting injured or already had pre existing injuries and thus will spent more time in rehab then training for the next year (not their fault of course). We need to keep those picks for the next year’s draft to fix the old line that this organization has failed to fix in two seasons.

  9. With the recent Colt’s move, There is no way FO is risking first round picks for one player. This roster is not in a win now mode with contracts and injuries. We are heading for a mini rebuild I think.

  10. Unless they’re getting back a guy with years of control and is solid, there’s no point in wasting draft picks on this year’s team.

  11. I feel our front office kinda just gave up on the season lmao. They are definitely gonna save their picks and start fresh next season.

  12. We aren’t making a big time move. I’m still hopeful they’ll at least get Chubb though, he shouldn’t cost no more than a 5th rd pick.

  13. We need too much with Bosa, Fred and others out.

We aren’t going to do anything but bring more players in from the practice squad…not because we can’t but because that the only thing that make sense.

  14. “Best” case scenario if they make a trade: win 10-11 games, lose in WC or division round because our walking wounded can’t compete with whatever other mostly healthy team we face (whatever team that we face will have many fewer injuries than SF). We lose draft capital for the rental, and draft late in each round, and Lynch/Shanahan still refuse to rebuild the OL. Harder schedule next year especially if we win the division.

Better: Save the picks, finish with 8 or 9 wins, take the middle round draft picks and the 2nd/3rd place schedule, fire the entire strength and conditioning team, rebuild the OL.

  15. We shouldn’t do anything unless it will help the team for years to come. Although we are 6-3 i dont see how we can go on a playoff run missing all these key players. We should roll with who we have now and hope the players that we are missing which can come back actually do and contribute. Despite the tough injury luck, we are much better prepared for the future than I thought we would be. I think the window is opening again rather than shutting.

  16. I’m good with doing nothing. They aren’t going to get anything to put them over the hump this year and the draft picks would be better served to help with the mini rebuild.

  17. They probably won’t make a move unless the player will be around for 2026 as well. I’d also expect their first round pick next year to be earmarked for a tackle to replace Williams.

  18. Lynch and co won’t be doing a damn thing and we all know it. Meanwhile, Seattle’s cooking and adding more deep threat depth while Lynch just sits on his ass content with his “young” new team that can’t shit

  19. I do hope we get a pass rusher but…idk, it feels like we are just feeding this injury monster without really any way of stopping it. And what hurts most, this monster is targeting our 1st round picks and defensive playmakers.

  20. I love that we’re staying put. Let’s keep stacking up the young players and reset our salary cap issues. This is the growing pains of paying marquee players. Trust in John and Kyle

  21. Just in: 49ers to keep their draft picks only to draft busts in the first rounds next year.

  22. If the jets want a 3rd for Breece Hall, I’ll take it. Kyle normally drafts a RB with our 3rd anyway.

  23. Should’ve picked Quinnen in 2019 or traded back the spot to do so. Was kinda hoping we’d trade for him given the Jets “everything must go”.

  24. The only ones getting traded here fucked their GM’s wife or kicked their dog. Most would have a healthier outlook in a NK or Siberian prison camp.

  25. Why on earth wouldn’t they trade for a known commodity vs another disastrous draft? This FO is outrageously inept at times

  26. I am shocked by the top responses here. Because of elite coaching by Shanahan this season, this roster somehow has a winning record. Will we make the playoffs? Maybe, but that’s it. The roster is not a Super Bowl roster and Kyle’s bag of tricks won’t always be able to hide it. We are benefitting from an easy schedule, and now everyone thinks we should sell draft capital to make a run. We don’t just need one player (which is what a trade is for) — we need a LOT of players. Do the best we can with what we have now, and get younger and better next year when players return from injury. Don’t tank the future for an improbable run.

  27. No deals tells me that, they won’t lose on purpose, but they don’t care about winning this season either.
