We gave up a draft pick to get a guy we let walk (Nnadi) just to replace him with a guy we let go after training camp (Pennel). The front office seems to be confused about roster construction. This dynasty is solely on the back of 15 with a little help here and there..I guarantee Veach/Reid have no rings w/out the QB that Dorsey drafted . And the 3 anchors of the dynasty Kelce/Jones/Mahomes all Dorsey picks. Veach is overrated. Argue with a wall

To be fair, Toney had a year and a half left on his rookie contract.
Lol so this is what bandwagon fans look like?
Posts on a forum meant for discussion and says “argue with a wall”
Nohl Williams, Kareem Hunt, Khalen Saunders…
How many Superbowls have the Chiefs been in over the last 6 years? Thinking Pat, Chris and Travis did that alone is braindead
Yeah, I’m pretty sure that drafting the best QB to ever play the game was the difference between winning rings and not winning. I don’t think Reid or Veach would have problems admitting that either.
Veach built the team that just went to 3 straight Super Bowls and won 2. Is he perfect? No, but there’s no other GM I would rather have than him
I didn’t realize a GM’s success was measured by 3rd round picks
You’re deliberately leaving out or ignorant of the fact that Veach was the one who scouted Mahomes initially. Without Veach, Dorsey/Reid probably wouldn’t have had Mahomes on their radar. But I guess I’m arguing with a wall.
Entitled little bitches. Entitled little bitches everywhere.
Breece Hall liking that is insane
We weren’t the only team in the market for a RB and nobody else was willing to give up the 3rd for a half year rental either. I wanted to see us make a move as much as anyone else, but I’m okay with not making this specific deal.
I mean if there was a headline that said we traded a 3rd round pick for Hall, I would have been happy, but I’m not a GM, I’m just an illogical fan. I’ll give Veech the benefit of the doubt, he knows what he’s doing.
We used a 3rd round pick to trade up to get worthy. That’s something
Nohl Williams has been fantastic so far
I mean “great pick” for the third round is anyone who even stays multiple years. I dare you guys to go look up every teams third round picks for the last 8 year and see what you find. The hit rate isn’t great in that round for ANY GM.
Yall think it’s a bad pick if it’s not a GREAT player. Lower your expectations for the damn day three picks. Obviously, many greats have been day three picks but the vast majority of them haven’t even been good at all.
Nohl Williams could eventually be good.
Let’s not forget that reasoning with the jets front office must be like trying to reason with a literal mountain of mismanaged shit. Can’t blame veach for trying at least
I can’t lie fellas using a third on an injury prone RB that we wont use anyway isn’t a trade I wanted to make personally
How are they confused and been to 5 superbowls in 8 years 😂😂
That’s Super Bowl Champion Kadarius Toney, who had a pretty pivotal play in the Super Bowl.
Why is great pick the threshold when we’re talking about a rental RB? Should be good pick in my opinion and Khalen Saunders was a good pick solid defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi as bad as he is now was solid enough for long enough to be considered a decent pick. But also what’s bigger in my opinion is why are we limiting it to 3rd round picks he made? He used a 3rd to go up and get Trent McDuffie.
Man everyday people really out here thinking they are better at being a GM than someone who does it for a living and have built championship rosters 🤣
You’ve lost your mind. Practically the entire secondary was built via 5hr draft from the Tyreek trade & transformed into a top tier D that was a major factor in winning 2 SBs back to back.
The fk are you on?
This sub is getting annoying for many reasons. These comments are insane.
If you disagree with a move Veach or Andy makes you’re met with the generic “hur dur they know more than you!!!” As if all GMs and coaches haven’t made mistakes in scouting before while fans have wanted players who were passed on who ended up being better. We’re allowed to have opinions.
If you suggest a player needs to go or staff member needs to go, you’re met with “hur dur the Dynasty!!! remember what they did in the PAST? Don’t be a DOOMER! CLEARLY a new fan!!!”
If you suggest the Chiefs are fine and don’t need to make any moves, you’re met with “You’re a loyalist to the front office! Bootlicker!”
Literally no opinion or discourse is allowed to exist here without you people throwing out the same BS strawman arguments.
