  5. I never gave up on Odafe Oweh, and Trevor Penning. 2 of my favorite players in the league and we traded for them in the SAME YEAR. This is major for the chargers. He can play any spot on the offensive line.

  8. Pipkins and Salyer are playing tackle and Hart coming back soon to replace Pipkins at right tackle, so more likely Penning plays Right Guard over Sarrell if Becton can’t play, then Becton starts when healthy and penning is a backup Guard and Tackle

  13. Penning needs to improve his get-off and learn to be a step ahead of the defender. As a LT, you know the play, so it's just a matter of shielding half the time. He also needs to drop his butt and force defenders to go through him. He's not been great at straight up blocking on the edge. Now is the time for Penning to step up and be the player he knows he can be.

  20. Penning is a stud; bolts scored and did not have to give up much to get him. Ja'Sir Taylor was toast; teams always went at and exploited him when he was on the field. Getting a 7th-round pick for Taylor is a great deal, too; he wasn't worth it, but they gave it up. Thank you, J-E-T-S!
