I think it’s a little silly to say who won the deadline or who didn’t before a day has passed, but I am happy with how we did. A lot of the non-Sauce Gardner corners who got moved are almost exclusively slot/nickel corners, and while McCreary does a lot of that, he’s not just a nickel DB, he can play on the outside. He doesn’t even have to just be a boundary guy, just rotating our corner room and giving teams different looks can be a pretty meaningful addition for a very low cost.
