Jalen Ramsey Will Work ‘Exclusively At Safety’ This Week, Mike Tomlin Says

Pretty excited to see Jalen make this switch full-time.

He was coming downhill making some great hits.
GOOD
His biggest impact has been tackling downhill, so putting him in the best spot to do that sounds like a great idea to me.
As glad I am that he is doing great at FS, I think it’s ironic how we essentially traded our former all pro FS for an older FS and essentially a skilled TE2 (although he might be TE1 for another team)
Ramsey at safety gives me the Troy Polamalu aura. A defensive menace who really can scheme all around the field. I love Elliot but he’s gonna be out for a while, It’s Ramsey’s position now.
As is the evolution of most of the great CBs as they get older and lose a step. Think its a great move
Good. He was an absolute menace and looked like he was having fun. We need that.
Anything to keep Thornhill and Clark off the field. Now we just need to figure out how to get rid of Slay.
Will we do this against the bengals are move him back to CB?

Makes sense. He’s just gotten to some for CB anymore, and he’s better than what we were trotting on the field at S before.
