Boston Bruins at New York Islanders | FULL Shootout Highlights – November 4, 2025
So Patrick Wah wants to shoot first. He sends Holstrom onto the ice who had the shootout goal in Philly. And here comes Holstrom, the fourth year NHLER slowly delays, shoots, kicks, save. I think that’s the issue when when you have a beautiful goal, the video is out. So you go, I got to do something. I got to disguise it. Maybe I’m not going to go to that one right away. Alfons Nielson, you got to have two moves in this one. Swaming all over and on the same setup, Thomas, right? You got to get the same look coming in and two options on that look. The lefty Casey Middlestead takes it wide, slows it. Sroken, goes backand and Sroken outlasts him. Just excellent patience and you’re moving at slow speed and you got a quick goalender and those don’t add up well for middle status. Roken just stays with him. Nice little juke and almost had Sroka, but that bottom half of the ice just completely taken away. Well, the hottest hand in this hockey game. Bo Horvette had two goals with speed. Slows to a snail space, puts it off the post and it kicks out. Cal, you’ve seen that many times, right? Bo changes that speed and what a shot he has. He’s got a great shot and I think this is the move for him all the time. And you know, the ice isn’t great out here. And not just here, but in most buildings, they’re just doing they do a little shovel scrape. And a lot of times these goals, it’s hard to beat them with a layup dee. And I I love coming in slowing down and then just picking a spot. Here’s the 23-year-old Marat Husnadino, former second round pick of the Wild, waits, scores. Hadinov scored the tying goal in the third. He’s now got the first in this shootout. And Jonathan Drewan is next on. He must score. This is a guy just taking advantage of the opportunity he’s given. Beats Sroen blocker side. See if Druan can keep this thing alive. The game hangs on the stick of Jonathan Truan between the circles. Flips it wide and the Bruins win and come from behind fashion. 4-3 the final. And that’s a tough pill for the Islanders to swallow. As the Bruins take the second straight meeting between these two teams, the Islanders do get a point. 14 points in 13 games on the season, but this one’s going to sting a little bit. [Music]
