  2. It makes sense to ride the hot hand. If brisket falls off they got Murray. But brisket has been cookin. If he keeps it up he’s got more seasons in him.

  4. The best veteran quarterback available to lead the team next year might already be on the Cardinals and his name isn’t Kyler Murray.

  7. I’ll keep my mouth shut on any commentary for this QB situation until we’ve been told Kyler is healthy. I like how Brisket has played and hope he can go into this game and scrape one out, we need these next two divisional games to have a shot at anything.

    I think if there was more going on here, we’d have heard leaks from Kyler’s camp.

  9. Here’s what I’ll say.

    1. Props to Gannon for taking the hot hand. You have to do what keeps working. Its good for the team, but its also going to make a later comeback (if performance slips) not a big deal to people.
    2. Ankle sprains are fucking bitch. Groin and Ankle take time, and easy to re-aggrivate. if you’ve got a hot hand backup… you sit til its healed because you HAVE to think the long game until its officially gone.
    3. If they go back to K1… they need to give him the same playbook as JB. He’s been throwing 2-3 plays a series, and they have K1 doing away more handoffs, and quick passes or designed scrambles. YES, Kylers legs are a huge selling point, but we’ve historically seen his deep game be successful (especially in 2min drills). If we dont give him the playbook where he can make more than chunk YAC plays its BS to our offensive guys. Give him the option or trade him . Yes, some of these tosses and quick slants are him just seeing a collapse and tossing it off, but you can see SO many more designed quick releases for short yards with K1 than JB… can’t trust your deep ball if you’re not allowed to throw it often.

    Overall I think JB is the smart move because he’s producing, and you gotta go with that. But if they do go back to K1 they need to give him the options that made JB stand out (aka more than slants and pray for YAC)

  10. I am very curious to see how Jacoby does against the Seahawks defense. We lost to them by 3 points last game, so by all accounts, he should be able to beat them if he’s truly that much better than Kyler.

  14. Kyler fans need to stop the copium and understand he has most likely won’t play another game as an Arizona Cardinal. 

  16. Tbh the Seahawks would be a tough return for Kyler anyway, especially after brissett just got to tear up the cowboys d. Giving brissett another week hedges their bet. If he’s good then they can keep riding that with no reservations, and if he’s bad they can say kyler was still hurt and wave off the cowboys game as the matchup making their backup look better.
