So much for that “terrible start” to the season

  1. Yea, but it’s just a comment because a lot of people were saying he’s slowing down at the start of the season and regressing.

  2. LOL you can have a terrible start and finish the season with the most points in NHL history. Wouldn’t change the fact it was a terrible start….. Oh this is the NHL sub, that makes sense now.

  3. Worst thing that ever happened to this guy was scoring 150+ points in a season, now that’s the bar he’s always judged by and he may never hit that again despite getting between 110-130 consistently every fucking year hahaha

  4. He will drag the oilers kicking and screaming on another postseason run off of pure willpower at this point. It’s especially amazing given how wildly incompetent everyone outside the top 6 is

  5. Look, when you’re in the same bracket as 1B nick Suzuki, you got some splaining to do. /s

  6. He doesn’t give a crap about this… 2 x 12.5 clearly shows he only cares about one thing at this point. He’s not chasing Art Ross nor Hart trophies anymore and is way more concerned with the fact that his team blew a multi-goal lead for the 5th time in 15 games last night. And against a severely undermanned Dallas team at that. 97 has bigger things on his mind than the Scoring Leader page.
