Top 20 Defensive Plays This Postseason 🕸️💎 (Ft. Kiké, Rojas, Vladdy, Frelick, McMahon AND MORE!)
trying to do it to his old team in the World Series. Lines the ball to center field. Varial lays out and he made the catch. Smith is in to score. It’s three to one, but Dalton Vo’s gold glove in center field shows up again. Shers 200. Edmond pulls one down the line. A baby stop and catch by Vlad Jr. He has used the World Series stage to show everybody that he’s more than a slugger. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. diving into foul territory to get Edmond and end the inning. Bellinger pokes one towards the left field corner. Shaw on the run to the sliding catch. Miles Straw, one of the top defenders in the American League. Takes away extra bases. Dorsid in the to score, but it could have been a whole lot worse. One of those moves that really has helped their defense. That ball gets by. All three runs score. On a line to center field, Varo back at first, comes in, dives and makes the catch. Oh man, he saved himself after going the wrong direction with the first step. And the Gold Glove center fielder keeps this a three-3 game. Varo roller to second. Rojos comes home in time and it’s Miguel Rojos who ties it in the top of the ninth. Saves it in the bottom of the ninth. Two out. Miguel Rohouse, who was completely out of the picture 48 hours ago, has changed this World Series dramatically twice. Lutell the O2 swing and a ground ball towards the right side. Mlan picks it up, gets it to Latell who gets over and a big play right there as the pitcher covers. Mlan with a nice play. Bets down to second and there’s two away, but some nice defense there. Well, great concentration because as the ball with Stewart laying out or at least backhanding, you might get disoriented watching two guys coming back to first base. Gets up, pops, rotates, throws a strike. Nice job by Latell also to hold the bag. Sasaki fires. Vaughn on the ground in the hole. Bats has got it. Jump throw on a hop in time. Wow. Mooki bets gold glove form. What a play. Well, this right here, guys, is why Mookie not only getting to that guarantee, he knew who was running. Bond not great speed, so he said, “I’m going to give Freddy Freeman a nice hop. Didn’t have to put a whole bunch on this throw.” And just makes it look easy. Why? He’s a Gold Glove candidate this year. That’s right. Revas in the air to right field. Barger on the run makes a diving catch and Addison Barger having the time of his life out there. Roman right field. He’s got an outfield assist. He’s got a diving play with a guy that grew up dreaming of being the next Ichiro. Doing his best impression in Seattle. Bottom of the sixth. Show Otani leads off two. A shot to right field. It is a diving catch from Barger. Addison Barger. It’s not just been the bat from him. He’s been awesome defensively as well. Yeah, this one’s trying to dive down and he just gets a great jump on it. Angles the glove perfectly, making him do that with Springer out. It’s Nathan Lucas to lead things off. Popped up down the left field line. Keep it handas is open to Samuel makes the catch. Wow. Fresh off of last night’s craziness. It’s a highlight defensive play to start game four. Didn’t have to mess with any spectators. Towny’s like, “Thank you very much.” Postseason changes everything. Now the infield is in. Dangler has struggled today. Broken bat toward the second base and a diving catch by Rokio. Give a star next to that catch right there and give another star at third base. If they’re not playing up, that’s a ball that gets through or at least gets a run. And what a dive full extension. Rokio understands the severity. What a great play. Two on, two out. Schlitler Dearo. Poke to left down the line. Bellinger a mile to go. He gets there. Cody Bellinger out of the blue to make the catch. One day after the Blue Jays defense deserted them, the Yankees defense shows up early. Broken Baty catch by Vlad Jr. Brad’s put a stamp all over this game through two innings. You think Vlad, you think offense, you think home runs, but you think this? Wow. [Applause] digs this one out down the line. Lucas makes the play and the Blue Jays are taking all the things that made them a 94 win team and putting them on display here in the first game of the postseason. You just wonder if the Yankees can get something to drop if it changes that momentum for him. But right now, everything is clicking for that guy and his team. One, two, swinging. It’s Q gently first base. Sideex tackled. A belly flop dive by Naylor on top of the chalk. He puts a glove on it and flips to Bazardo covering to get the out as Bazardo goes over and helps his teammate off of the chalk line which is now smeared as Naylor went sprawling for it. And he takes a Qot hit away from George Springer for the first out of the bottom of the fifth. If he can get one more, his name will live forever. Now Barger’s the winning run. Five ball to left field. Hernandez on the run with Pahz over his head. Pah runs him over. Makes the catch. Sends game seven to the 10th. Incredible. PZ reaches up and makes the catch as he crashes into Kik. Oh my gosh. We’re going to extra innings. And Duran pops it up, giving chase and making the catch and flipping into the Red Sox dugout. What a catch by McMahon. Schlitler, the first one over there to congratulate him. Ryan McMahon airborne. Well, he’s known for his elite defense and it’s not just ground balls. They know what’s at stake all out on the line. What an amazing play to add to an incredible night here at the stadium. And Muny skies one to center field. Hit well. This one’s got a chance. FA going back to the wall. He leaps. It’s in and out of his glove, but he caught it. And now chaos on the bases. Might have a play at the plate. the throw. Not in time. No, he’s out. He’s out. It’s a force play at the plate. And he is out. All of this is going to be reviewed. It’s only a force play if he didn’t catch it. Catch it. I don’t think they know. It’s no catch. It hits the wall off his glove and now it’s a force play at home. Let’s see. And the throw beat him. So, you’re going to have bases loaded in two outs. Three outs cuz ran to third. He ran to third. If that’s the case, two outs and on the double play. One of the craziest plays you’ve ever seen. After view the call on the field, the force out at home plate is confirmed. The runner is out. The confirmed and the runner at third baseman. The force out is out. Wow. Andre Jimenez, the nine hitter. The Dodgers two outs from game seven. Jimenez floats one left field. Hernandez makes the catch. Back to second. Game seven tomorrow night. It’s a game ending double play. Kik Hernandez to Miguel Rojas. Jimenez flips it into left field. Hernandez charging. He makes the catch. The throwback to second. Here’s the play. The tag. He’s out. Kik Hernandez to Miguel Rojas. And the ball game is over. Well, this ball hangs up enough and you can see right away that Kik was going right to second. Blue Jays are taking a look, but as the replays show, Hernandez to Roas who picks it and baseball moves to November. Unreal. What a game. What a series. What a season of baseball. The Dodgers have forced game seven by the narrowest of margins. The Blue Jays had second and third and nobody out. Tomorrow’s supposed starting pitcher, Tyler Glass, now comes on. And just like that, he’s out of it. Two best words in baseball. Game seven. Here’s the O2 pitch. Bounces one up the middle. Bits to the back. Over the post to beat the champ. You got to knock him out. The Dodgers stand tall and win back-to- back titles. Unbelievable. That’s just the only word I can say. Unbelievable. Five to four in game seven.

YOSHINOBU YAMAMOTO🇯🇵
The rojas play is wayyyy too low
Kirk not winning a gold glove is criminal, if you take stats from Baseball savant and baseball reference, Kirk is so much higher than dingler it shouldn’t have been a contest
Mookie did an amazing job not once but twice ❤
Why isn’t McMahon’s catch ranked first?
YAMAMOTO WAS 6 WHEN KERSHAW DEBUT IN YHE MLB. 😮😮😮😮😮
ほとんどがブルージェイズの試合。
ブルージェイズがどれ程すごい試合をして勝ち進んできたか。
すげえワールドシリーズだった。
Omitting Cal Raleigh's perfect throw to 2nd from this list is a CRIME.
I never get bored watching a battle between two teams with good defense.
