I think Tom Willander is…#canucks

I really do think the ceiling for him is a Philip Peronic type role, like a really solid number two defenseman for a hockey team. I mean, that has been apparent since before Tom Milander was drafted. Uh, he uses his feet to his advantage and can shut guys down with his ability to close gaps. And Kyle, I think even on the offensive side, we all talk about Tom Wander being somewhat capped offensively, and I think those concerns were proved to be true through training camp and preseason, but kind of last night, I mean, that goal is a perfect example of what Tom Milander can do. He starts with the puck, you know, playing his right side, uh, in his own zone on the blue line, skates across the ice to the other side, goes behind the net almost, and then sets up Besser. I know I banged off a skate and went to Besser, but just the confidence to make that play for a guy who’s been in the NHL for a nancond.
