Ducks’ Cutter Gauthier Nets First Career Hat Trick Vs. Panthers

Jackson tied him up long enough to get some help and Anaheim possesses the puck behind the defense off the bench. Goce scores. [Music] [Applause] Cutter just keeps on going. [Music] A Gustaf Forsling trying to join the rush with the Panthers. And when Lome kind of fishes this puck out of traffic right there, Leo Carlson spots Kar Goce who jumped off the bench and he’s looking five hole all the way against Babski and that quick release and the accuracy of that shot. He picks his target, he hits it and he gives Anaheim a one- nothing lead. Eight goals on the season already for Goce. two teams, the first two teams to lead the league in penalty minutes and win a cup since the 07 Anaheim Ducks. Here’s Goche. One-time. He’s got his second of the game. A power play goal and a great setup from Leo Carlson. No idea where that puck was. Boy, people are starting to learn about Cutter Goce. He can’t finish. What you know there’s a big scrum in and around the net. Crider’s down there. Carlson does a good job. It was actually Hecklad knocked it out of Babroski had no idea where the puck was. He he was slow to get across. Great pass out of the corner to Gochce right into the wheelhouse of Crider trying to reestablish position in front. Terry drags it on the goal line. Brings it in front trying to go through his legs. Poked away by Babski. Good puck recovery. Lome dishes it off. Score. A one timer from the bottom of the circle is the first career hat trick for cutter go. Boy, what patience everybody in this building was screaming for a shot and they got one and it only took one. Great puck movement at the end here. And again, Babowski can’t get across to protect that short side. And Gochman, he is just ready to fire. And all in one motion, he just rips it again. What a skill this young man has. That’s his third of the night, his second on the power play. And he becomes the fourth youngest dunk in franchise history to record a hat-tick. and a big smile and rightfully so. Cutter Goce has tied the game at three. He scored all three tonight for the Ducks. John, that’s 10 on the season for Goce in 12 games. I mean, this is absolutely remarkable. He had 20 last year in 82 games. This is [Music] All right. 1. Not sure what happened with him and Flyers but holy moly, this guy is the real deal. I'm a Canucks fan but after randomly watching a game of theirs last year I took an interest in the Ducks solely because of Gauthier.
