Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett named QB1 for Week 11🚨 Kyler Murray’s future in question | NFL Live

We have breaking news from Adam Sheper. Go ahead, Adam. Jacobe Brassette going to start again on Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals in Seattle against the Seahawks. Rightfully so. He’s named the starting quarterback again. We’ll see how they move forward. Kyler Murray still not healthy, but Jacobe Br gets at the very least another start in Seattle. And Jonathan Ganon’s talking to the press right now going through the explanations, but we do know Jacobe Brassette gets at least another start. All right. We’ll see if we get that some of that sound. We can bring it to you. It was interesting. Last night right after the game, I interviewed Brassette and I asked him what he had done to keep this job and he gave the credit to the rest of the team. The numbers will tell you though, Dan, that it looks a lot better with Brassette in there than it has with Kyler. Yeah, Jacobe Brousett’s been the better quarterback in Arizona this year than Kyler Murray. This offense is a been a better unit under Jacobe Brassette than it has been with Kyler Murray. If you’re the Cardinals, you have to ask yourself why. And it can you get Kyler Murray to play to the same level both individually and get the offense to perform to the same level the way Jacobe has? Why is Marvin Harrison absolutely taken a step forward in the last three or four weeks? Trey McBride continues to play at a high level. Here’s the caveat that I’m going to put out there. If and when this organization determines that Jacob’s the guy for the remainder of the season, I think that Jacobe Brassette should be the starter for the remainder of the year. If and when they do, there’s no turning back. that would mean the end of Kyler Murray’s career as as an Arizona Cardinal. So, it’s easy for us to sit here and say it. I would make name Jacobe my long-term starter this year, but you then can never go back to Kyler Murray as your guy. Wow. Yeah. Just really fast, Mina. When we talked to Kyler yesterday on the sideline because he was there, he said that his foot is still bothering him. It It’s still to the point where he can’t run around. He can’t play the game that he wants to play. So, that factors into this too, Mina. But, give us your thoughts. No doubt. Uh I will say this about Kyler. If they do make that decision, that contract is very tradable. It’s a player who at several points in his career has been very good, better than he has this season. So that would be a very interesting name for a lot of teams. Uh as far as Jacobe goes, Dan, you’re right. He played better. I I think the unlocking of Marvin Harrison Jr. was just the most eyeopening thing last night. Um and Marv was incredible last night. Uh, but I’m interested in seeing, you know, when they go up against Seattle, I think that’s a really important factor in this decision because candidly, the Seattle defense is very good. Those corners going to have a hard time matching up with this version of Harrison Jr. makes me wonder if they would want Tariq Woolen, who’s like the only guy who’s got his size potentially out there. But this version of Marvis Marvin Harrison Jr. where he is winning with deadly releases at the line of scrimmage, where he looks crisp as a route runner, where he just the way he was snapping guys off coming back to the football. That looks like the top five draft pick. That looks like the receiver I thought he would be in the NFL coming out of Ohio State. That first route on that touchdown you guys saw last night. I know. But anyway, separation so good. Okay, so once again, the news just here from Adam Jonathan Ganon speaking with the media right now, but Jacobe Brassette will start Sunday at the Seahawks. We’ll see how this affects Kyler Murray’s career going forward. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
