SO, PACKERS FALL APART, THAT’S THE PICK, THE JETS. GET, IF THE COWBOYS CONTINUE TO BE BELOW WATER, THAT’S THE PICK, THE JETS. GET. SO THAT’S, THAT’S THE BEST OUTCOME POSSIBLE FOR THE JETS. NOW, YOU DON’T HAVE TO YOU, JUST YOU, I GUESS YOU, YOU ROOT AGAINST BOTH OF THEM. YOU WANT THEM BOTH TO BE BAD TO GET THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE PICK, BUT IT’S NOT LIKE YOU’RE LOCKED INTO 1 OF THE OTHER. SO THAT’S A GOOD OUTCOME FOR THE JETS. YEAH, IT’S AN INCREDIBLE OUTCOME. IS THERE A QUARTERBACK THAT COMES OUT MAYBE THEY’RE PICKING NUMBER 3. LET’S SAY THE TENNESSEE TITANS ARE AT NUMBER 1 AGAIN. OH WAIT, THERE’S A QUARTERBACK THERE. WE CAN TRADE THE NUMBER 1 AND DEFINITELY GET THAT GUY. I MEAN THEY GOT THE, THE, THE ASSETS NOW, TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT FOR THEIR FOOTBALL TEAM AND I THINK THAT’S WHAT EVERY NEW HEAD COACH IN GM WANTS WHERE THEY JUST GO. HAS I MEAN HE’S GOT TALENT, YOU KNOW? AND I THINK HE WAS AT A SPOT WHERE LIKE OKAY YEAH, I’M PROBABLY AS GOOD TO A LITTLE BIT 3 RECEIVERS THERE THAT ARE REALLY GOOD, SO THEY CAN’T GET THEM ON THE FIELD BUT HE CAN WORK FOR THE JETS AND MAZI SMITH GOT POTENTIAL TOO.   5. Anyone clowning the Jets for this is a casual. The current regime bears no burdens of the past 15 years. This was the only sound and logical approach for a 1-7 football team at the deadline. Jets fleeced both teams just like they did with the Jamal Adams deal years ago…

  6. I honestly like the Jets position. Now Dennis Allen can build the team he wants and they still have Rick Spielman assisting with the drafting. Only problem I have is I never like a defensive minded head coach developing rookie qbs.

  7. I can tell you I'm 76 years old and I can't tell you how many times the Jets seem to be set up well and swimming in riches and not able to capitalize. It happens over and over, the fans get all excited, the future looks bright, and then the Jets just do what the Jets do, same old jets, same old jets, same old jets!

  10. The Jets have been known to blow their picks, no matter how talented their picks are. Getting too many 1st round picks could actually negatively affect the team, considering the picks you get. These players could operate as individuals, not as a team, and could all end up being very arrogant, thinking that they are the best player on the field.

  11. 45 year fan of the Jets. It has been a BRUTAL 45 years. It doesn't matter how many picks you have if you can't make the proper pick. The Jets always make the wrong decision, every single time.
