Padres Fans: Yu Darvish Isn’t Walking Away From $45 Million
If somebody owed me $45 million and I lost my voice and didn’t matter, play or don’t play, that money is coming to me no matter what, right? Just like just like Eric Hosmer. I mean, he he that that my money was his. Why would you ever retire and do the quote unquote honorable thing for the franchise? [ __ ] them. They they they I signed a contract. They put the contract on the table. They know exactly what I’m going to make. I know exactly what I’m going to make. And it’s my money whether I play or I don’t play. Now, some people would say, “It’s my money and I want it.” Now, I read some people say this. You ready? I remember some people I I read some people saying this. Well, you know, they’ve been very good to him, the Padres’s. you know, uh, last season when something was going on in his family and he left the Padres’s and nobody even expected him to come back, which he eventually did, and nobody knew why he was gone. Oh, it’s none of your business. Um, he got paid his money. Uh, listen to me, you’re you’re asking it’s unrealistic. It’s unrealistic for anybody to think that you Darvish should retire to help the Padres’s.
As bad as his contract is, it’s unrealistic for anybody to think Yu Darvish should retire, leave $45M on the table to help the Padres.
