You can’t bench brisket until he gives you a reason to. I figured we wouldn’t see Murray unless he starts to collapse.
Makes no sense why they waited three games to do this – would love to hear from K1 finally how all this unfolded. Can’t imagine he and his camp are happy – until then, Go Cards!!

wow…kinda feel bad for him and this would seem like hes played his last game w us. crazy

Call of duty Black ops 7 drops in a week, he needs all his attention on that anyways.
Wasn’t he active in practice before the Cowboys and was very close to starting, now he’s “injured” again after Brisset has outclassed him…? Yeahhhh ok. We are protecting whatever remains of his trade value by saying he’s hurt instead of benched.
If he was healthy his agent would have leaked it.
Don’t know why we waited to do this until now though.
No reason in risking his foot turning into a major injury needing surgery by pressing him back in a lost season.
49ers cooked Purdy pushing him back too soon.
No reason to risk a significant injury regardless of if they try to trade him or bring him back next season.
This whole season was cursed starting with the Conner injury right off the bat followed by three walk off FG losses 😂💀

Feels weird. I wanted him to work out, but like… It’s been seven years. He hit his ceiling and we need to trade him to get solid draft picks.
Dude I talked about this in a post yesterday. It’s unfortunate this didn’t happen from the start.
Im kinda not buying it. This all seems like to avoid benching Kyler and tanking any trade value. He´s probably gonna sit out the rest of the season due to “injury” and then get traded for a 2nd because he would´ve been QB1 if healthy *wink* *wink*

This was the right play in every way. If k1 is not physically OR mentally there theres no good time to play him coming up. I think you give Brissett full confidence into a hard ass schedule and if he succeeds you move on and if he regresses you can give a healthy Kyler 3 weeks as a both selling tool and off-season thought

Figured this was going to happen. Murray saves face by not getting benched and ARZ keeps him healthy to see if a team will trade for him.
Maybe giving underperforming perceived stars the bag before they’ve done anything is a bad idea after all.
