The MOST EPIC CALLS and MOMENTS of the Blue Jays’ 2025 AL Pennant run! 🇨🇦
deep left field. It is a grand slam from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. He’s back. He’s back. The Yankees bring out the best in Glatti Guerrero Jr. Six hits in the first two games of this series. The one two pitch. Got him. Hoffman strikes out Cody Bellinger. And the Blue Jays have done it. They have knocked off the New York Yankees. They have won their first playoff series since 2016 and they are going to the American League Championship Series. Andres is the batter. They are in on the corners for the Mariners thinking a bunt is a definite possibility. Fly ball right center field. It’s hit well. Romeless going back. It’s gone. Andres Jimenez launches one to right to tie the game. Bottom of the order has been gold for this team all season long. And we’re going to put the home run jacket in. Andreas who comes up with a huge home run. He had seven home runs during the regular season. None bigger than that one right there. Two down. Here’s George Springer who hits a fly ball to center. Rodriguez back turning. It’s gone. A rocket to straightaway center field. And George Springer has his second home run of the series to give the Blue Jays a six-2 lead. He gets another breaking ball. Hits it to center. This one’s going a long way. on a first pitch slider deposited over the center field fence and it is 7 to2. Glad he’s back. Guerrero with those hits tonight. Buck is now 12 for 27 in the postseason. That’s a 444 average with four home runs and 10 RBI. Now here’s Alejandro Kirk who is 1 for two with a walk. He has scored a Kirk hits one to the opposite field. It’s hit well. It is gone. They are pouring it on here in Seattle. Their fourth home run of the night to extend the lead to 10. He has really shut down this powerful offense since the first inning if this series were to go the distance. Shane Bieber would be lined up for game seven. And he strikes him out. Number eight on the night for Bieber. Beaver is coming off Tommy John. He didn’t come to the big leagues until after he was acquired in that trade from Cleveland. But the change up and the slider have been great pitches for him all night long. Grounded to first. Backhanded stop. Guerrero. The flip to Beaver in time. And the inning is over. Six innings in the books for Beaver. And wouldn’t it be nice to see this bat get going? Barger still looking for his first hit of the series. There’s one that’ll get him going. Look at this one go way back into the seats. Fifth home run of the night for the Blue Jays. It’s 13-4. Well, first hit of the series for Addison Barger. And what a good feeling that is. He had a great series against Seattle here in May, including a three double game. Here’s Andre Jimenez. A well hit ball to right field going to back zone. It’s gone. He did it again. Second night in a row that Andres Jimenez hits a two-run homer. Deja vu again. How about that? And that is simply a product of having a great mindset. I just got to get him over. And he’s rewarded with a beautiful home run. I think Max made his feelings known very clearly to John Schneider. When you have a picture of this stature, you trust what he says. I got this, skip, he got him. Rosena waves at a curveball. Sherzer strikes him out. And how about 41-year-old Max Scherer tonight, giving the Blue Jays five innings, allowing just one run. And there’s a base hit into right for Suarez. Palanco is on his way home. The throw to third is in time. A terrific throw by Addison Barger. Ended the inning. And everybody watching knows about his arm. Boy, look how true that throw was. One hop right to Ernie Ketta through to right field. Over is Barger. He’s got it. Addison Barger is having a night out in right and he makes a terrific catch. Still a long ways to go in this one. And wouldn’t John Schneider love an insurance run or two at some point? Guerrero with a fly ball on a right. He’s hit it well. It is gone. Just enough to get it out of here. His fifth home run of the postseason and it is six-2. The most any Blue Jay has hit in a single postseason. He was tied with Jose Bautista who had four in 2015. But now Guerrero has set a new franchise record for most home runs in a single postseason. A ground ball to first. Backhanded by Guerrero. Jimenez won. You savage two. He got out of it by getting a ground ball. Getting over to first and the Blue Jays turn the 361 inning ending double play. Nobody is better throwing the ball at first base than Vlatty Guerrero Jr. in the air to right center. It is going to go. Addison Barger demolishes one and it is four to nothing. And it’s a mad house right now here at Rogers Center. Guerrero with a fly ball deep left field. It is gone. Andrea Savage has answered the call. He gets Raleigh again. Another splitter. And after the swing and miss, Alejandro Kirk pumps his fist in the air. The Savage has been outstanding in this game. What an outstanding job. I mean, again, just 22 years old, his sixth major league start. Three of them have come in the playoffs. This is game six of the Championship Series. An elimination game for the Blue Jays. And Treya Savage was outstanding tonight. The Blue Jays down three to one bottom seven, but they’ve got runners at second and third with one out. And given what part of the lineup is coming up right now for the Blue Jays, Buck, this could be the season right here. And a swing and a fly ball to left field. Back goes a Rosarena. She’s gone. George Springer puts the Blue Jays on top with a huge three-run homer. He’s been doing it his whole life, coming up with big hits in the postseason. None bigger than that one right there. A guy who’s played in so many big games in October in his career and who did so much for this team throughout the regular season with as dramatic a hit as you can imagine. And the Blue Jays have the lead. We weren’t sure if he was going to be able to continue after he got hit on the knee. And not only did he continue, he may have saved the whole season. You just had that feeling with how good Munoz is and the fact they had a couple of men on and the top of the order coming up that this could be their best opportunity. And with that guy at the plate, it happened. The 3-2 pitch. He got him. One down. The pitch. He got another one. Here comes the 3-2. He got him for the first time in 32 years. The Toronto Blue Jays are going to the World Series. What a performance by Jeff Hoffman in the ninth. Now here’s Vo who flyed out to center with the bases loaded to end the first. And he hits a ball hard to center field. It is going. It is gone. Dalton Vo has brought this crowd to its feet and he has tied the game. They are right back in this ball game in the bottom of the fourth. Dodgers led early two to nothing. Blue Jays two in the fourth, three here in the sixth. And a high drive to deep right center field. It is gone. Addison Barger does indeed blow it open with a pinch hit grand slam. What a way to make your World Series debut. Hit well to deep left center and this one will go. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. lines one into the seats in left center and the Blue Jays take the lead. And the Blue Jays need a big night from Brady Guerrero Jr. off to a good start. That’s only the fourth home run Otani has given up this season. Snder will leave Jimenez in in this situation again. Trusting him to make contact, trusting him to get a ball to the outfield to get a run home. But he doesn’t. He lines it softly into left for a base hit. That’ll chase Varo home. It’s an RBI single for Jimenez and it’s three to one. Bette lines the ball deep left field over the head of Hernandez and off the wall. Here comes Jimenez. Guerrero will be held at third. Bo unable to run full speed. It’s a long single for him, but it’s a big one. Ground ball base hit and Guerrero is home. It is six to one. Game five is underway with a fly ball to deep left. Gone. The first pitch of the ball game and Davis Schneider has hit it out. What a storybook career for Davis Schneider. He gets a start in game one. Now he leads off in game two. First pitch of the ball game. He knocks it out of the ballpark. And the Blue Jay fans making a ton of noise. And now Guerrero rips one to deep left and it’s gone. And two batters in. They are up two to nothing. My oh my, what a start for the Blue Jays here tonight. Well, we told you the Blue Jays have responded very well when they’re facing some of the best pitchers in baseball. And Blake Stav is certainly in that category, but hit a ground ball. Double play ball. Let him walk off the field with his teeth. And again, the 32 to Edward. Ground ball to third to second one to first for two. You asked, he delivered and he is walking off the field with his defense. Around the horn they go. An incredible outing for Trey Savage. He earned that right to walk off the field and he can celebrate a historic start in game five of this World Series. [Music]
