Hes looked rough lately, havent watched closely enough to understand why. Maybe a confidence issue.
Unfortunate, he and the young guys need as much ice time as possible IMO
Russo reported no changes from the last game, so Yurov will be in the press box again.
Hard to argue considering that the 4th line was solid last game. There will be a decision to be made once Zuccy returns though. I’m guessing that Zuccy supplants Jojo on line 1. Jojo bumps Vladdy from line 2. Vladdy bumps Hinistroza from line 3. Hinistroza bumps Pitlick from line 4. From there, do they keep Pitlick as a 13th forward, or Yurov? I think the answer depends on whether or not they plan on working Yurov into games over Jones (also: whether Yurov would agree to a stint in Iowa)
I hope he’s not blocking a move to Iowa. A month in the top 6 would do him wonders
Yurov isn’t scoring, like about the entire bottom 6. Unless he were to go fully Vinny and coast to coast a goal from nothing, he may not offer much outside of defensive responsibility for a while. If Yurov is ok with it, pair him and Ohgren up on AHL lines and see if they can develop chemistry.
The Wild currently sit dead last in shooting%. Things are going to revert to the mean soon. We win tonight and win Thursday it’s a winning streak. It has been done before.
I know he’s been performing decently as of late, but I still think it’s hilarious that Marcus Johansson is a 1st line winger on this team.
Fucking Ben Jones.
Another example of how this org has no idea when it comes to developing young(and Russian) talent.
Idk why they don’t give him a shot centering Kaprizov. Not much to gain playing 6 minutes a game on the 4th line, not much to lose given current state of the team.
