1. Standing and throwing is one thing but you can tell when he’s trying to run or roll out of a pocket he’s uncomfortable and looks like it hurts a bit 🤷🏻‍♂️

2. I would bet 100 bucks that they tried to shop him yesterday and nothing materialized so now they’re shelving him. Not that he isn’t hurt, but maybe he doesn’t need to be full IR.

4. We will probably never know for sure what’s really going on, but it must be bittersweet on game day for Kyler, wearing the headset watching Brissett making his job look easy.

5. You can see him favor it when he moves. We don’t have a backup, and he’s probably a couple weeks out from being able to play without it being an issue. Putting him on IR buys time and opens a slot for a backup to be signed, now we know why we were hosting QBs last Wednesday. Expect a singing any day now.

11. It was always a foot that “might” need surgery depending on how well Jacoby played.

12. If you guys are ASU fans and/or are aware of the Sam Leavitt injury, the two injuries are similar. Albeit I think Sam’s was worse. He could play on it, it’s about pain tolerance and weighing whether or not you’ll make it worse.

14. This was the first day of practice last week. Very likely he aggravated it or didn’t respond well afterwards.

But I was wondering if maybe he does actually have an injury, but one he could play through, but the FO decided to put him on IR because selling a player who was just injured is easier than selling one who was straight up benched for Jacoby Brisset?
