“Zac Robinson has stubbornly deployed 11 personnel, which includes three receivers, on 53.35% of offensive snaps despite the Falcons having Casey Washington as WR2 and David Sills as WR3 for long stretches. Per SumerSports, their EPA per play in that formation is -34, which is the 27th-best mark in the league, only ahead of the Vikings and putrid Raiders, Browns, Saints, and Titans when using that personnel grouping.” – Falcoholic
They need a WR2 but I think they feel they can manufacture that production from Pitts and Bijan…. The offense just doesn’t have a burner take the top off and scare teams deep.
I have a really radical idea, how about Penix becomes more accurate?
seems good and normal
Nobody expected the Mooney drop off. You hope he’s just banged up and will look better as the year goes on but most likely he needs an offseason to get right. In the meantime, they’ll have to draft a reciever or find one in free agency. Makes no sense to not have a deep threat for Penix.
Yet all I hear is how Fontenot has put together an extremely talented roster. Look at all that talent right there
Penix does force the ball to Drake a lot. Plus he’s usually the first option and gets open.
