Houston Rockets vs Memphis Grizzlies – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | November 5, 2025 NBA Season

And tonight from the FedEx Forum here in Memphis, Space City Home Network presents Houston Rockets basketball. As tonight, the 4 and2 Rockets look to extend their winning streak against the slumping three and five Memphis Grizzlies. Five. The Grizzlies are hoping to end a three-game losing streak. They control the tip in the first game of three for Houston Thompson. That’s a lot of athleticism. Jaylen Wells had a really good rookie seat back. Critical threes for the Rockets in the fourth quarter. Poked away by Okogi. Wrestling with Jiren Jackson Jr. beat into the ball and then beat him to the rim. But again, Memphis has lost three in a row. John Moran, at least from the outside, appears to be an unhappy camper and then got stopped, but Shenun did not. There. That should have been two offensive fouls on Triple J. Now to Shenon. No pass to Thompson. Herling scoring plus by eight. Second highest scoring game of his career against the Mavs. 27 points had a huge first half and that shot goes down bench. The Grizzlies bench has been a very highscoring unit this season. Jock Landale another look at a three and this time it goes down. So he’s he’s tonight with a bit of a hip issue. It’ll be Clint Capella coming in here early on for Shenun. And then Thompson knocks it down. It seems like every time the Rockets kind of make a mistake, the Grizzlies give one back to him. And then Thompson and that goes down. Tracked down by Durant. Rockets still the best offensive rebounding team in the league. We’ll see how that’s effective without Steven Adams tonight at that time. Baseline. No tip by Capella. Gets it back. Resets it to Durant who weaves into the paint. Kicks it in the corner to Tori E and he spots up and buries will throw them all out there at the same time. That’ll be a fun lineup. Inside to Capella from Shenu. He’s got nine and then Thompson with 10 in the quarter. Spencer with the step. The kick to Aldama. The three is in the air and a three is good. He is rebounding the ball better than he ever has. Speaking of rebounding, Capella’s been all over it. Here comes Durant. The ball just on its way to him. Thompson right by Caldwell Pope, but then had it stripped at the last moment. And over the top to Bassie. Oh, and then he got fouled. Fell down hard. Looked like he may have hit the back of his head on the floor. And we hope he’s all right. Hopefully maybe his hair patted that, but his head absolutely bought all right. I was wondering where it was. Morant to Spencer. Quick release. It does look like he’s going through the motions a little bit. Here’s Morant. throws it up and Bassie throws it. Yeah, they’ve been really loading up on Shinong. Need to cut here finds Ten. That was a pretty tough catch point going to be there and to me that’s a sign of a a great offense and also a sign of a really good team. Rockets after giving up the first in a row for the Grizzlies answer the Rockets 70 run. It’s been a quarter of runs over the top. They catch on the block to Smith stepping back facing up and knocking it down. spinning as Caldwell Pope lost Shepard had it knocked away picked up by Tory Een plays it ahead to Reed as a couple of guys in front of him and now finds a man Thompson but he found him too late got to make that play right there but guess what [Applause] Thompson on Landale step to his right and it and it dropped with the rebound who was the 11th pick in the draft right to the rim plus the foul Now Aldama got hit upside to head. He’ll get one free throw. It’s a straight up scam. No, I I’m not saying I’m enrolled, but I can use the email if that’s all you need. That’s shocking. Durant trailing shooting, scoring there. There you go. And frustrating for Yeah, they are. [Applause] Back door play didn’t work. That There you go. That back door play worked all game long. Houston backed his own. Aldama down the baseline and that’s normally that’s where Steven blocked the help by Jiren Jackson Jr. And then Shenon poked it back, scooped it, finds a man Thompson. Now Kevin Durant gets his two points. Not going to say he’s struggling. He’s just playing in a crowd. Get him to look get the ball to Durant. I love that from a men and the three to Williams trailing to play as well and has a couple of steals. Moran in gets turned back to Jock over Shenon. The late close out, but Jock recent Rockets with the best offense in the league. Memphis’s defense has slipped this year. Look at Tory East. Speaking of 17 to9 and the Grizzlies are 14 of 17 at the line. So that in their ability to score in transition has kept this thing probably a bit closer than in the third quarter in their most recent game against Detroit before cutting that deficit to three late in the fourth. They ended up losing by eight as Durant. [Music] Look at Jiren Jackson Jr. just roaming. There you go. And that’s what you saw. So shot clock gets reset to 14. [Applause] Durant will shake and bake. Turn around over Wells and force that one up. Bad idea. Shenon surveys. Bullet passes a quarter to Smith who makes the corner three. Jenon defended well. Straight up and down. Mor comes back out to coward to Landale. Hoists. hits that time. Illadvised decision trying to capitalize. There’s Mor and that time that I think it’s John there streaking the other way attacking the rim and scoring. Oki wide open driving kick game rockets two on KD trapped in a corner caught no man’s land finds Smith swings it to Oki. He’s wide open way wide open. Jiren Jackson Jr. has been had a very quiet night. The Rockets defend defended him really well. Oki with a hot hand. They they they leave him again. They leave him again. His third three. Watch Jackson Jr. He just he just spotting wherever the ball is. Aldama the lead out after the contest. It is back tap picked up there by Coward and the three from Williams. Can create so much offense from there. Coward still has uh not made a shot. Gets it back. There you go. Dumps it down by Memphis. And an interesting journey in college. And that’ll count. Plus the foul. And that’s why you see a lot of zone when Reed Shepard gets in the game so that he can use those anticipatory skills that he has on defense. Rockets have kept the Grizzlies off the foul line as well for the most part in this third quarter. Oh my goodness. Pointed out to me at halftime after we got into that uh discussion that um UCLA our great producer. Did you get my email? I was trying to look for it. Okay, let me know. He doesn’t even have the apps download. Shepard off the pick leaning three goes down. Rockets needed that because drone push to make this a competitive game down the stretch. Yeah, M is really trying to push in transition and they hit some good shepherd from Shenon and an out. Tough luck picked up by a man Thompson now to Jabari. Corner three off the handle. Calwell poke. Oh, tried to ram it on Shenun but he forced him to hurry up the shot because he tracked back. Good hustle by Shenun. Sorry East. He’s led in the shooting game. Rocket still won the game. That that’s that’s a great time because this team is obviously a lot more than just Kevin Durant. The young talent the other side just in his zone right now. I like the pace that E’s playing with. He’s got 13. Morant, especially now for the fourth consecutive game for the Grizzlies. And John Mor two on Durant to Capella draws the crowd, finds a wide open shooter. And that shooter rims in another he and Capella 26 combined rebounds. And we talked about the luxury of having Clint Capella dunker spot. I mean the the entire team is spotting over to take the ball out of his hands. Point forward Kevin Durant. Thompson right place, right time. So demoralizing. Love that the ball is still moving. Yes, it is. That’s something else we’ve really seen a lot more of. How about the score for Jan Tate appearing? Yeah, it it has. [Music] in a row after that 0 and2 start. Grizzlies lose for the fourth straight time.

  2. Loving these well timed cuts to the basket for layups when doubleteams come. Monitoring KD and Senguin's minutes this season is critical. The old Popovich method of keeping key players "fresher" for the playoffs works.
    Go Rockets !!!!!
