He’s borderline elite, and I think by next year he’ll be considered one of the top five quarterbacks in the league. Honestly, even today, I think only the following teams would not trade their quarterback straight up for him.
Kansas City
Buffalo
Cincinnati
Jacksonville
Baltimore
Philadelphia
Those are the only six teams that given the straight up choice would rather keep their quarterback.
I know people will disagree me not including a couple names like Stafford (OLD) or Herbert, but honestly, I think Maye is better than Herbert. If he’s not already, by the way, he’s trending. He definitely will be if he continues to work with Josh by the end of next year.

Probably everyone but the big 3 of Lamar, Mahomes, and Allen would be available for Maye. Burrow is made of glass and at 29 has missed half his career so far.

As a Bucs fan who’s friend with a lot of Pats fan, I wouldn’t. Mostly only bc I think Baker fits the Bucs rly well and his timeline is more fit for where we are as a team.
None of that is to say that Maye isn’t an amazing QB though, I just think the Bucs need someone very experienced for when things go wrong younger QBs aren’t used to.
Also Jax probably wouldn’t but tbh that’s bc we haven’t seen what Lawrence under a good coach for a full season looks like. Also Tlaw is pretty big still among Jax fans.
Burrow is also elite but health and availability need to be factored into this. Same as Daniels. Would take Maye over anyone except Mahomes, Allen, and Lamar, but not sure if i could take even any of them if salary is factored in.
