I don’t really care about the X’s and O’s and shit like that because it doesn’t matter that much. But Nurse can’t run these boys into the ground for nothing. Because that’s what the regular season is. It’s nothing.
They broke Embiid having him carry the Sixers, moved on to Maxey this year..
Nurse has been an absolute moron with the minutes lately, starters arguably shouldn’t have even played in the 4th tonight, much less waiting until a minute left to empty the bench
They have one of if not the best guard rotations in the league, but you’d never know that looking at this.
The rotations have been questionable and yeah we’ve been over working Maxey. But this picture isn’t a fair comparison. The thunder are 8-0 and Shai hasn’t been playing in the 4th quarter at all half the games. Our games have been mostly close or come-from-behind wins where you’d want your best players on the floor in crunch time. I’m hoping this gets better for us when fully healthy and getting good minutes from McCain and Paul George.
McCain being full speed will help a great bit. The front court is mediocre without Barlow.
I can’t help but feel this team would run so much better with a Siakam or Adebayo type PF than Embiid. The speed difference and transition play would be cohesive with the rest of the roster. Availability would be nice too.
