Travis immediately said the Chiefs are not going to go for the tush push. But its Jason's question to officials that struck me the most. Is it really so tough to officiate the tush push? If it is so, why can't technology be used at least now, considering NFL is one of the less technoligy driven leagues around the world, instead of calling for a ban.

It’s hilarious all these teams use it, but it’s only during eagles games that they slow mo replay the shit out of it to find some type of false start.
The tush push is like that HR meme now
When the eagles run it, everyone yells “it’s unfair” then when other teams run it successfully commentators fans fans applaud them
At this point just ban it. So sick of this shit
Mahomes doesn’t like getting hit without a flag
At this point just ban it or don’t… it’s a play that excels at extreme short yardage situations… guess what if you lineup and the offense only needs 6 inches it’s really damn hard to stop them from getting those 6 inches the Eagles just refuse to hand the ball off a few yards behind the line of scrimmage giving their opponents an opportunity to bust through the line and blow up the handoff
Bills wanted it banned and they run it 2nd most behind us. Josh Allen to the left is almost every time they use it.
The one I really have an issue with are the Bills. Because they run that shit all the time but not only tried to ban it, but said it was an increased injury risk.
NO ONE CALLS THEM OUT ON THIS. It’s infuriating because they are literally running it with their MVP QB and no one has ever asked them why they do that if it’s so damn dangerous.
Why would they need the Brotherly Shove when they already have the Refs…
Calling it a cheat code is not helpful
Odds on tush push being banned went from 95% to 65% in a few weeks. None of the billionaires even like Roger.
The hard part is the language and officiating. Like ok can you never push? So QBs just gonna bang their head every 4th & 1 within 60% of the field? Or teams need a banger like Taysom Hill.
Funny thing is defenses are starting to figure it out so the play is evolving, and at the end of the day it’s probably like 10% of the plays that actually take tv time to decide.
I think these takes against the tush push are insane. If you want to ban all forms of assisting the ball carrier, fine.
But saying “this play should be banned because our officials aren’t very good” is such an embarrassing take for all involved. Also, no other play – whether it’s a standard running play or a passing down – has a microscope on how many milliseconds a tackle moves before the center. I am willing to bet there are tiny false starts on over 50% of snaps.
Mahomes did this before and his leg snapped in two.
No one likes us, we don’t care 🎶
Kelce knows it’s not “too hard to officiate.” He has been called for a false start on that play and is on record saying that the officials had been warning him for years they would call him on it before they finally did.
