And hey, make no mistake, this was the Knicks best win of the early season. And we got to start in the third quarter because the Knicks would take a four-point deficit and turn it into a 40point outburst. Captain Clutch, Jaylen Brunson who would come alive with 12 points. The blockchess monster Mitchell Robinson dominated and the Knicks would look would not look back in this one, man. Shout out to the dog OGNobi. 25 points, eight rebounds, and this was a full squad twoweight victory, man. Knicks roll 137 to 114, three in a row and undefeated at the Garden, man. Call us up in the KFV Discord. Let us know what you guys think about this one. Once again, hit the like button, hit the share button, subscribe to the channel. Statement game. Let’s talk about it. All right, man. They saying statement game in the chat right now. Statement game. Hey, it was a good one, man. No, no question. Uh, their best of the early season. And you you you’re getting a little feel for what this Knicks team could look like, what this offense could look like. I mean, their compete level was outstanding tonight. The defense was outstanding. Um, but let’s talk about the play of the game, man. Let’s start with the dog, man. 25 points, eight rebounds for the dog tonight. Um, two steals a block in his defensive bag. We’re coming for that all defense, ladies and gentlemen. They snubbed us last year. We coming for the all defense this year. Okay. Um, just absolutely sensational, sensational two-way play by OGNobi tonight. um shot 60% from three. And right now in this early season, the dog OG Aninoi is shooting 40% from three on practically eight attempts, man. He’s been fantastic, bro. He’s been incredible to start the season. Quite a run for OG, man. I mean, you’re talking about shooting 40% from downtown. The man is averaging over 17 points per game while shooting 47% from the field. So OG is doing the damn thing. And not only is he doing that offensively, but defensively is just causing havoc today. He continues to show how he’s so versatile defensively, guarding Julius Randall, guarding multiple wings, guarding anybody that is in front of him, causing turnovers, getting out in transition, getting dunks. DP. How about the one where he gets the steal, passes it to Brunson, gets ahead, and then gets the dunk for the easy two. Come on, man. OG is doing the damn thing. He’s making a He’s making a statement, man, where he has to be I don’t know, man. The way he’s performing right now might be an all-star level type performance because he’s got the numbers right there. He’s shooting very well and the defense is there, man. He might be getting to that all-star status the way he’s going. Yeah. No, no, no question about it, man. He’s been um he’s been on a tear Al and we’ve been talking about his potential. He looks completely locked in and settled in with this team since he’s been here. Um you know, give credit James Edwards trilogy of the Athletic talked about last year his three-point preparation. You’re seeing it pay off right now as we mentioned at the top of the show. Eight three-point attempts for OG shooting 40% from the field. And also in this game, the Knicks were finding him off of cuts. And also when they go five out, especially, I like how he plays off of towns when that when the when the floor is open, he’s attacking the basket and he’s been relentless and finishing well at the rim. So you you you’re seeing a a you know what what you like about him is his shot profile because he’s getting the threes in high volume and then he’s getting the high percentage twos as well and then he’s creating his own offense by turning defense into offense. He’s been absolutely phenomenal so far this season, bro. And the thing too CP is like like last season we see that he had to create for himself, right? Like do some step back stuff like that. I haven’t really seen much of that to start this season, honestly. And shout out to my boy Los W who I play pickup with. He always talks about playing within your envelope, like playing to what your skill sets are, right? And OG’s not going far and above beyond or beyond what he’s capable of doing. Everything that he’s doing to get over 17 points per game is pretty simplistic. He’s knocking down open shots. He’s getting out in transition. just cutting to the rim and just getting and just like getting steals to get easy twos. Man, there’s nothing complex about his game right now. And he’s averaging 17 points per game. What did Mike Brown say to this man saying, “Hey, you know, if you just do your stuff, you’re going to get the offense. Don’t worry. You don’t have to go create for yourself. You don’t have to do all the extra heavy work just to go get two points. Just be who you are and you’ll be great.” And that’s what he’s doing right now. He’s just being who he is. Yeah, no question. Everything within the flow of the offense, setting a tone defensively and really being the aggressors and and give credit because he really sparked that Nick defense along with our next guy who we’re going to talk about. OG was the play of the game, but we got to talk about the role player of the game as well. But really just setting that tone for the Knicks defensively. Julius had it going early. He was almost unstoppable in this game. All as the game progressed, him and the big ragu started going crazy. They had 30 points in the first half alone. You could see Ant-Man wasn’t himself coming back from the hamstring injury. He really didn’t have much burst or lift. He was kind of just out there. We said it at the top at uh earlier today like like you know, everybody heals up quick when it’s to to play that one game at the garden. So you so you knew you just had to keep Julius and and Dante in check and and once they did that, you know, they they were good to go, man. But um how about the the role player of the game, the blockchess monster, Mitch Robinson. Oh my god, man. He was just you 16 minutes, CP. 16 minutes. He played he played like a quarter of the game and you could feel the impact. Julius Randall trying to trying to bully Mitch in the paint. He said, “No, man. Come on, man. Know who I am. Respect my game. You’re not going to get past me. I’m going to swat your stuff. Whatever comes up by the rim, that’s mine. Anybody who wanted to get into the paint and attack the rim, try again, man. You weren’t going to be successful tonight again against Mitchell Robinson. And hey, when the Knicks were missing shots, who was there? Who was there to clean up and get two easy extra points? Mitchell Robinson, man, the his impact can’t go unnoticed. This is why he’s on load management. Okay. So, every time someone’s like, “Oh, well, you see, he’s not playing games. He’s not doing this.” Yeah, look what happens when he’s healthy, man. You you heard Doris Burke talk about him on the show today. All right. During the broadcast, who’s the top rebounders in the game? Stephen Adams, Mitchell Robinson. Two seasons ago, before he got injured, he was at the top of offensive boards. Well, he does it again tonight, man. He is dominating on the offensive glass and making it easy for this team. How many offensive boards did he have tonight, CP? How many offensive boards? Nine of his 10 boards were offensive. Nine of his nine out of 10. He had nine offensive boards. That’s That’s nine second chance opportunities, people. Nine second chance opportunities by one person. Mitchell Robinson is so impactful and so critical for this team. That’s why anytime he’s available, he’s in the starting lineup. No questions asked because any you don’t want Towns playing your five-fold time. You got Mitchell Robinson who just cleans up everything and then look what happens when he’s out there, man. deters everything and then turns defense into offense. Whether it is getting the stops and getting back out there in transition, whether it’s just sitting up in the paint, how about that nice bounce pass from Brunson where he attracted uh the double team and then just Mitch just by himself, right? Easy two-hand slam. That is why you have Mitchell Robinson out there to get easy baskets. And I might I have to say this too, he had a nice buzzer beater finish around the rim, which you would never see that from Mitch in the past, man. So, he certainly improved his game around the rim, but damn, that this is why the Knicks kept him, man. Yeah. And and he is uh our role player of the game tonight. 16 minutes. And this is this is this is the guy. This is the guy where when people and we get it all the time. Oh, you can’t you can’t say healthy trade him. And I’m like, who do you want to trade him for? Who do you want to trade him for? Because I if this is the guy that you’re going to tell me he’s going to be able to contribute, there aren’t three players in the NBA that can do what he does at his peak powers, bro. There are not three players who can do that. If you watch that sequence in the third quarter, it was a master class. One minute he’s blocking Ant-Man on the perimeter. The next minute he’s guarding Julius on the perimeter, forcing a tough shot. The next minute he’s coming down, put back dunk and one. Next minute come down, he’s blocking somebody. He’s blocking Jaden McDaniels. He blocks Julius. He gets a deflection that leads to a steal and gets the Knicks out in transition. That was a twoway master class from Mitchell Robinson. The mission is simple. get him to April, May, and beyond. Do whatever you got to do. If you got to if he has to skip the next five games, skip the next five. We’ll wait for you because there is not a player, maybe three players that can do what he does at peak power. So, when people say trade him, trade him, trade him, this guy right now for this team is irreplaceable. If they don’t have him, they cannot accomplish the mission. I’ve said it before, I will say it again. Dude, he is irrele. That’s why when people say go out get Walker Kesler. Look, man. Player Walker’s right now. He’s good. I get it. I ain’t trying to deal with Danny A, man. Let that man have a Utah Jazz team that is rotting over there because he overvalues all of his players. All right. And let me tell you something. Kesler is not going to be anywhere close to what Mitchell Robinson is. Nowhere close. Nowhere close. Nowhere close, man. In 16 minutes, CP, the impact was felt. You 16 minutes. Imagine this man in April playing 25 minutes. Unreal. Who Who’s getting past him? Great game. Great great great game. Nine offensive rebound. How many second chance points did we have, Mel? Just check that check that number on uh on NBA.com. How many second chance points we had? Knicks had 21 offensive rebounds as a team, bro. 21 offensive rebounds. Second chance points the Knicks had tonight. How many? 31 to 14. 31 to 14 on the second chance points. Uh points in the paint. They dominated the the Timberwolves. Uh the points in the paint number tonight was hang tight. Points in the paint 62 to 40. 32 assists. I mean, what what what an effort by the squad tonight. They got their 43s, shot 45% from three, 50 boards. They outrebounded the Timberwolves by almost 20. And that’s a team with Julius and Rudy Goar and Nas Reed, 32 dimes, and they got 102 shots up, bro. 102. They got 102 shots up tonight. How many threes did they get up tonight, CP? 42. They got their threes. We We got the threes up, man. You’re starting to see um what this Mike Brown offense, what he wants it to look like. Mhm. Yo, I’ll tell you this, and you know, solid game from Carl Anthony Towns tonight. Got to obviously work on the the fouls, man. too many fouls, especially when it came to the offensive fouls. But the one play that sticks out to me tonight is when Josh Hart is driving the lane and then who’s cutting right there down the middle to get an easy easy dunk. Carl Anthony Towns. And that’s when you talk about seeing what this offense could look like under Mike Brown. How many times are we try are we looking for Carl Anthony Towns to cut down the lane and get two easy points? How many times were we looking for that last season? And I’m not saying that he didn’t do it at all last season, but early in this season, we’re starting to see him moving off ball at the top of the key with out Jaylen Brunson, right? Go get some easy shots. Yeah. that. And for a guy who likes to drive, why not cut without the ball when you have somebody like Josh Hart who’s willing to be a battering ram, get downhill, and cause havoc? So, look, man, the the the Mike Brown offense, it it’s slowly coming together. It’s coming together. And you’re starting to see what it could potentially look like. And and it’s looking good, man. I mean, if the defense could be up to this up to this type of of level and like we haven’t, like I said, we haven’t even got a full Mitch for over 20 minutes yet this season, right? Yeah. I I’ll go back and check, but we’re talking about 16 minutes tonight. And look what we did to the Minnesota Timberwolves. 137 to 114. 137 to 114. Man, get me 25 minutes of Mitchell Robinson out there and we’re going to be holding teams under 100. Yeah. As you mentioned, Towns, I liked Cat’s game tonight. I thought he had a good game tonight. Uh 15 points, 10 rebounds for Cat. Four dimes. I two blocks. I loved his passing tonight. I like the second quarter unit where Mike Brown brought him off the bench and ran him with Deuce, Clarkson, Hart, and Macau Bridges. I like how they played in the second in the second quarter and how they were cutting off of Towns’s actions in that high post and and he was passing the ball very well. So, I did like how he was staggered against JB and running with that second unit of guards with a little mix of good perimeter defense because, you know, Deuce is playing well defensively. Clarkson’s effort has been better and Josh Hart is on an uptick as well as as well as Macau Bridges. So, I liked how that five was moving. I liked how Towns was passing out there. JB, while his shot wasn’t falling early, it it came together 12 points in the third, but 10 dimes. 10 dimes to cap and and he was taking what the defense was giving him and feeding his guys and they were rewarding him for it. The Knicks as a team Al coming into this game um they were sixth in passes sixth in passes made in the NBA at coming into this game. Last year they finished or 16th in passing. So you’re seeing good ball movement. Their cutting is better this year. the their efficiency off of cuts, their points per possession off of cuts is better this year. And overall, man, the movement, the ball movement, the body movement, man, that was they were on point tonight. Tonight was their night offensively, man. Yeah. And they did it against a quality oppon opponent. Look, man, you you can’t I know people want to hate just because, you know, former Knicks over there, especially with Julius on that side, but look, this is a team, and I’m talking about the Timberwolves that went to the Western Conference Finals as well, and they lost. So, they are looking to get back there. You know, I did the preview yesterday with Ben, and they have championship aspirations, too. This is a team that is in the same position as the Knicks. Slightly tweaked roster, looking to get into rhythm. Anthony Edwards missed some time. Now he comes back, wasn’t looking great, but you know, trying to incorporate him into the system. But they’re trying to figure this out, too. They’re they’re a competent team. Okay. So, for the for the Knicks to go out here tonight against a tough Western Conference opponent and hang 137 on them, it’s good. It’s nice. It’s nice. That that that is encouraging. That’s absolutely encouraging. Well, a lot there’s a lot on the uptick upward trajectory right now for the Knicks and now is the time to do it. this home stand. I said it this week on weekly, they have a chance to go six and three, turn this thing around and in the upward trajectory. They do you got the Nets on Sunday that’s supposed to be food. You take care of that. Next week you got Memphis coming in and you have Orlando again all winnable games all at home. And so look, the the Knicks have a chance here to to gain some momentum on both ends of the floor while they keep guys fresh because let’s talk about the bench next. 10 guys played, 40 plus bench points. Josh Hart fantastic tonight. Josh Hart leading the bench tonight. 18 points for Josh Hart. Five rebounds, four dimes. He’s back. He’s back. Four of five from downtown, Al. Seven of 12 from the finger. With the crooked finger. Josh Hart is back, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s go. He said he said family show to all you telling me I need surgery right now because I can’t shoot. How y’all feel tonight? Hey, not only is he knocking it down, he’s confident and he’s just overall his floor game is just overall more confident because when he has the ball in his hands, he’s not secondguing, he’s making a decision. He’s either going to take that shot or he’s going to contribute to collapsing the defense and keeping the ball moving. When he gets the chance to push it ahead, he’s pushing it ahead. Josh Hart’s back, man. Dude, and it only took one bad game for him to really turn it around, which is crazy. You saw, we all saw that video of him sulking on the bench, you know, knowing that wasn’t his best performance. And he’s playing through nagging injuries, CP. Yeah, he he is why you have to give this guy some leeway to figure it out and get back on track. He plays with a hustle and grit that that embodies New York. All right. Yeah, Josh. Josh, he is 247. He don’t sleep when he’s out there, man, when he’s going like this. And for him to get back in rhythm this quickly. Very confident in what he can do, man. And look, he looks he looks rejuvenated to be coming off the bench, not playing the 40 minutes. Played 27 minutes tonight. Got you the 18 points, as you mentioned, five boards, four assists. I thought his defense was awesome tonight, too. I thought he was flying around being a good like just being a disruptor on that end. So Josh Hart, welcome back, man. Welcome back. Welcome back, Josh Hart. So he would lead the bench with 18 points. Uh Clarkson had his moments. Seven points for Clarkson, three of six from the field. I thought he was efficient. I like Deuce’s game tonight. 14 points for Deuce tonight. So you had you had five Knicks in uh in double fig. Sorry, six Nicks in double figures. Deuce with 14, four assists, three rebounds, six of 10 from the field from Deuce. I like Deuce’s Deuce, especially when when he when he came in and talked to us in Vegas, man. like you could just tell he just he wants to guard at 94 ft and he’s he’s coming at you offensively. Deuce is trying to rebound from last year and he’s playing with a different kind of confidence, a different type of game speed and you can see the maturity of Deuce in now year five for him. I I liked his floor game tonight trying to get that offense flowing and defensively bringing that intensity. Yeah. Yeah. And you see how he was guarding Anthony Edwards on the perimeter and and some may qualify say, “Hey, Ant-Man wasn’t fully healthy tonight. He just returned.” I don’t care, man. You’re guarding Anthony Edwards. Sometimes just the name alone could put fear into an opponent. And McBride did not let that deter him from playing his best tonight defensively on the perimeter against Ant-Man. And then on top of that, talk about the shooting. I thought it was very timely shooting for a lot of his shots, CP. I thought it was like timely threes, timely buckets where they were good momentum extenders and swings tonight, you know, and that’s sometimes what you need to catch fire for a team is that even when the team is starting to bounce back because there were moments tonight where the Wolves were starting to get back into rhythm and just creep back into this thing, then you get a deuce extended like an a rainbow three where you need it, right? And you see that like look look at the ground like yo respect my game, man. And it’s like those type of moments that that is what propels a team to even get more confidence as the game wears on. So Deuce had an impressive night tonight as well. Good job by Deuce. Nick Bench 53 points. Outstanding job and and again full squad effort. I mean we we need to even talk about Macau Bridges who continues to shoot the ball efficiently. 13 points, five assists, five of 12 from the field. He’s stepping into those transition threes. He shot three of eight from downtown. Mau Bridges just like, you know, I I just what I love about Muel Bridges is like he may not he may not get opportunities to score all that often, but when he does, he gets it cracking, bro. Macau does his job out there every night. He is doing his job. He He looks so comfortable. He just looks so comfortable. He understands what his role is, what he needs to do. It’s not like, oh, I have to He doesn’t feel that pressure of I need to come out and perform every single night. tonight. He even you look at how he played 13 points like you just look at the as you said like the well-rounded game that he had tonight. He’s playing within the flow of the offense. He’s like, “All right, it’s not my night to shine. Let me play some defense. Let me be a fac facilitator. Let me take some shots here and there. I’ll do a little bit of everything that’s needed to keep this game going.” But that’s that’s the sign of a guy who’s comfortable and understands when to pick and choose his spots. Yeah. Right. like that that that’s what you need because not everyone is going to be the Jaylen Brunson and on some nights like Carl Anthony Towns like there some nights you’re not going to be that guy who is going to be touted as like the best scorer and I think Bridges is more than comfortable not being that as long as he’s playing to the best of his ability which is just being a high-end role player and contributing where where need be and that’s what he’s been doing these these games man to start the season started off being a hot scoreer and now he’s just kind of like gone to now let me be a facilitator now let me be a guy who can initiate offense, extend the offense if Jaylen Brunson can’t is is being double teamed and needs a release valve, I could be there for him and I think Bridg has been doing a solid job of that. So Wing Stop across the board is is giving you great production. We talked about Ojanobi, the player of the game. He’s at 40% shooting from three on almost eight attempts. Macau Bridges is shooting 48.6% from three right now on five attempts. So Macau Bridges is redot and he’s averaging on the season right now 16.4 points per game, 5.4 rebounds and 5.5 5.3 assists out. 5.3 assist shooting 54 and a half% from the field. So Wingstop is getting into a little flow right now. Wingstop is cooking. Wingstop is Wingy Hut Jr. is Isn’t that what Josh Hart’s calling? Wingy Hut Jr. Wingy Hut Jr. All right, let’s all the Spongebob fans out there. Let’s shout out to super chats that have come in. Salute to everybody in the chat once again. Hit the like button, hit the share button, subscribe to the channel. What’ you guys think about tonight’s win? Everybody in the chat, throw a three in the chat for three in a row and uh 5-0 at home. And we’ll give them a choice. We’ll give him a choice tonight. You can go with the uh the New York versus the world new era snapback. You know what I mean? That we both got Well, Al’s got his KFTV hat on tonight, but I got the New York versus the World hat on. Or hey, it is going to get Chileia outside. We got the other day. We got the blue beanies, man. 3D embroidery. The KFTV blue beanies. Perfect for your holiday stocking stuffers and all of that, man. So, one of you guys at home are going to get one of these of your choice. To to the people who want the beanie out there, you will stay warm. I will tell you that right now. Oh, the beanie. Yo, the beanie’s good. It will keep you warm. Yeah, the beanie’s good money, man. We’re from New York, man. You got you got to protect your dome. You know what I’m saying? You got to protect your dome. All right, let me shout out the super chats that have come in and then we’ll get to the calls. Shout out to We got a couple in here. Uh $10 super chats there. KPG go franchise channel member and number one on the chat leaderboard says, “I can tell OG’s been working on his ball handle and coordination. In the past, every time he starts to dribble or drive, he almost loses the rock, but not lately. Let’s go OG.” Yeah, that’s a good point. Al, he hasn’t really I mean, I take a look at the his stats on the turnover side. I don’t know what the numbers look like, but from a eye test, it looks like he’s just a little bit more under control on his drives and his attacks to the basket this year. Let’s see. Looking for the turnovers for OG and Anobi. And he is averaging uh 1.9 turnovers per game. So, they Okay. 1.9. Okay. Yeah, he he does seem that’s that’s a great point. That’s a great observation by uh by a guy here. He does seem to be a lot more in control, if you will, and that’s a good thing, man, because he’s he’s aggressive, man. He he’s attacking that basket. So, uh, shout out to the dog OG, Al. And he met with Bill Pedo after the game at MSG. And here’s what the player of the game, OG Anobi, had to say. Here, here we go. Great game. You guys outscored them by 27 points in the second half. How’d you do it? uh just by getting stops, running out in transition, taking good shots, trying to take care of the ball better than we did in the first half, and we executed you personally. That’s four straight games with at least 20 points. What would you say is the reason behind all the scoring you’ve been able to do here lately? Uh just, uh, you know, playing the right way, you know, running in transition, uh, taking my shots and being aggressive. How about the fact you guys are now 5-0 at home this season? It’s your best home start since the 1213 season. What’ you say? Best home starts in a long time. 5-0. I mean, we I mean, we play extra hard when we’re at home. We have the best fans in the world. We try to go out there and put on a show for them. OG, thanks for stopping by and congrats on a great game. Thank you. Great game. All right. That was that was the most you got from OG in a couple years, man. In a couple. He gave you a couple games worth in in one sound bite. I was about to say he was still short until the point, but yes, that is the most he he talked. Notice how he had his hands behind his back so he doesn’t take the mic anymore. He he he gave you all the answers from the PR binder. He’s we got the best fans in the world. We just, you know, we want to play hard for them every night. Five and0. You could tell that man studies the PR book like it is an exam every single night. He’s like, “Oh yeah, you know, we just played hard. We play hard because we’re we’re in front of the best fans every single night.” It’s like he rehearsed that in the mirror 20 times because he knew if I have a good game, I got to be able to say this. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to the dog, man. He’s he’s playing excellent excellent excellent ball right now by OG, man. 25 points, eight rebounds. playing like an absolute stud. Absolute stud, man. Shout out to the dog. And uh just job well done. Three or five from downtown, shot 60% from the field. Two steals a block, 10 of 17 from the field. Amazing job by OG. Okay, let’s uh let’s read a couple more super chats and then we’ll get to some more calls. Shout out to Jay Foss. Jay Force $10 super chat says his heart is going to keep shooting the threes like that. Might not want him to get that hand repaired. Well, as we know, Josh Hart, the threes come and go over the course of the regular season. The confidence comes and goes over the course of the regular season. There’s no telling what he’s going to end up with, but if you’re out there, you got to be able to shoot it with confidence or move it. And he he did a little bit of both. But what I like about him is he just he’s not secondguessing himself with the ball in his hands. Even if he’s not going to knock down the shots, he can still make impacts by cutting, by setting screens, by facilitating, and that’s what Josh Hart has been doing over these last couple of games. He’s hot right now, man. Yeah. And look, hopefully it just continues as the season progresses. And I I’m pretty confident that it will. It seems like he’s found a good groove. Um, and look, he’s earning the minutes every single night for having to be out there, man. And look, for Josh, it’s just be that playmaker. Cause havoc defensively, and just get out in transition, man. Those are the things that he has to do. If you’re shoot if the three ball falls, that’s like the cherry on top. That’s the bonus. Yes. Yeah. Yes, indeed. Okay, let’s go to some more super chats and make sure that we uh acknowledge everybody who’s been donating here. Salute to everybody in the chat. Good win 137114. Shout out to Raymond Noble Al 1680 number three on the chat leaderboard says uh just want to give kudos to the bench. 53 points I believe. Seems like the bench has been doing better ever since Mike Brown shortened the rotation. Yeah, that’s another topic of conversation. Now the rotation seems like he’s getting into a flow here, especially when you’re on a night where it’s full squad. Like if we take a look at the minutes and the minutes distribution and this is with Mitch, you know, if if you want to call it full squad because Mitch played only played 16 minutes, but you can probably expect that. So you have uh 30s for third high low 30s for Brunson, Macau, Carl, and OG. No more than 33. You get Hart with 27. He played a lot with the starting four when he came in for Mitch at times. McBride gets his 21, Clarkson 16, Sham gets the 12 and then Yabusellle he got his nine. So that’s that’s like that that’s tonight it was kind of it was 10 n and a half 10 but as Mike Brown says he’s going to go nine nine and a half. Yelli again getting the o uh OB treatment. Yeah. Yeah. Yelli. Yabiselli gonna be situational till he get right now. He did knock down a corner three, but even still, I think this is it. This is going to be your core. Unless Yaboscelli just is blacked out one night, you know what I’m saying? Or on the nights that Mitch don’t play, he’ll get his shot. He’ll get his shots on the on the back to backs. Yeah. Or it could be Ariel Hook, man. If he starts to progress and, you know, he gets depending on the matchup. I mean, look, they started the season off with Huck and over Yabiselia being the starting five. So, right. Who knows, man? And I think the good thing is that we’re starting we’re Yes, Mike Brown has dwindled down the rotation that he wants to see. He gave guys an opportunity to say, “Hey, can you show me a little bit more at the beginning of the season? Now he’s like, “All right, now it’s time to stack up some wins. These are the guys that I trust. He’s got his nine guys.” And look, I think the thing that we’re seeing a lot more of is just the small rotations. He’s willing to go three, sometimes four guards out there with one big. And that’s Mike Brown’s willing to go out there and just run and gun for a good portion of the game and say, “Hey, we’re going to go small ball, match our speed, which I like. I like that. I like that different me mentality than what we’ve seen in the past where saying, “We’re just going to stay big and we’ll just counter.” Mike Brown saying, “Why don’t you counter to me?” Yeah, that’s one thing with Brown and the rotations. He hasn’t been afraid to switch it up in game. you know, he has not been afraid to switch it up in game and and that’s certainly um a counter to Tibs right now. And and uh as as the viewer said, Bench is is playing well. Bench is definitely on an uptick. Okay, we’ll continue with the super chats. Let’s get through some of these super chats before we get to the calls. Shout out to everybody donating the rhyme animal. Chuck D in the building now. Shout out to Chuck. $10 super chat franchise channel member says Vipers OG and Bridges the league has nothing like them. Yes, Alex OG didn’t snatch the mic. He was he was on his PR ps and Q’s tonight. Everybody’s feeling good, man. It’s Kif night. Squad dropped 137. OG the play of the game. Everybody contributed full squad effort. It’s one of those nights, man. Every everybody’s in a good mood. The panic is gone. Last week’s panic is gone. You know, we’re in a good spot, man. I like this place. I like this place right now. I like this place, too. Yeah. But but don’t worry, it will come back around at some point. You know, it always does. It always comes back around. I was like a boomerang. Yeah. I was talking to one of the homies today. I said, “Yeah, you know, listen, man. The the takes are cyclical. The takes are cyclical, but right now, give give the squad credit. They they are it’s coming together. you you can really see it. So, and and again with the you look at the schedule, you look ahead, you don’t want to look ahead, but when you look ahead, there’s nothing stopping them right now, man. Nothing stopping. No, they got they got a SK. Look, and I think the biggest thing right now, CP, is the fact that they’re dominating at home. like that is, you know, when we talk about homec court advantage, right, and you think about it for the postseason, they have to demonstrate that during the regular season that every time they are home that it can, it’s not only that they win, but it’s a dominant win. You want to see the role players really thrive when they’re home. And right now, we’re seeing that with Josh, we’re seeing that with McBride, we’re seeing that with Shamut, Clarkson. Like, those guys are really, you know, elevating their game at home. And so, the Knicks could continue this type of trend. Not saying they need to win every single game during the regular season at home, but if you’re telling me that out of the 41 games they’re playing at home, they win over 30 of them, then yes, then we’re then we might have to really consider, do you even gun for the number one spot? Because if you’re that dominant at home, maybe you do need it going into the postseason. But as of right now, still too early to tell. But I like that the Knicks are dominating at home. Uh that that’s where they need to be, man. They need to be dominating at home, man. No playing around. We we we got to treat the Garden like the Mecca. If we’re going to call it the Mecca, then we got to treat it that way. We got to dominate because when you dominate, the crowd’s going to go crazy. You’re going to go crazy. The defense is going to go crazy. And then we, you know, fans go crazy. We are in It’s pandemonium. Pandemon fandemonium. Fandemonium. I like it. Yeah. Absolutely. And we got to rinse ourselves of all the, you know, anybody just walks into MSG and starts coming through like it’s a holiday party, you know, start putting up crazy amount. No more Zeke Najis. All right. We don’t need none of that. We got to show that when you come here, you’re about to get smacked. You see, you see Ant-Man, he was miraculously healed from the hamstring to come play. No, no, no, no, no. You go, you go back to the injured in injured reserve. He he tried to come to the garden and style out on us. That’s not going to happen tonight, sir. Yeah. You know, he cir you you know he planned he had the calendar. He was like, you know, I guess I can take these. They were talking on the broadcast. Oh, Ant-Man’s never, you know, taken four games off before. He’s like, you know what, man? I really need to be okay. He probably should have. He probably should have. I really need to take four days off because I really want to go off at MSG right now. He He probably should have, man. Uh, shout out to Oh, we got a Taiwanese super chat. Al, shout out to uh Loen Mench 408 franchise channel member says, “Yes, sir. We’re on the right track. Let’s go. Salute. Salute. Knicks nation. Says we’re on the right track right now. Shout out to Lone MCH. Shout out to Lone Mench. Okay, let’s get to the Discord, man. Here from the franchise channel members. William Jay, kick us off on the Discord. William J. Hey, good evening, fellas. How you guys doing? Yeah, great, man. Good win. How you doing, man? Yeah, I’m good, man. A couple of things that I’ve noticed that are actually uh improvements is if you notice the games that uh we playing really well. I think JB is starting to play more as a traditional point guard than trying to take over as an offensive uh juggernaut. And I think it’s getting everybody else involved. And I think it’s actually working in Towns favor too because now Towns is starting to figure out where his his role is because if you looked at the last couple of games, he’s going inside and outside and he’s not trying to force it. So, I think like JB not trying to force it on the offensive side and just playing that traditional point guard, you know, role where he’s getting his assists and getting everybody involved has been a huge change in the way that the offense is flowing. Yeah. Uh um I love Cap’s floor game, especially last couple of games, man. He’s he’s really been facilitating the ball very well. Uh but look, it’s only way to accumulate assists is if your guys are connecting and Knicks are doing a good job overall. this offense is shooting very efficiently over the last couple of games and and uh so he’s being rewarded for that. But overall, I I just like his approach even when he’s not shooting the ball well, he’s he’s having good outings, man. Yeah. The other thing I saw too, man, I think the one thing that changed the game in the second half is, man, when Mike Brown made the he left Towns and Brunson very sparingly on the floor at the same time, which I think was huge on the defensive end. And then the other thing, man, when he produced in the game and he was either with OG or with Male, like it was octopus hands all over the inside the lane and they were trying to pass the balls and they were just getting steals left and right and you know messing and you know getting tip balls and stuff and I I just think like that’s a three-headed monster now. Like if you put him on the floor together with Mitch like that’s a scary defensive rotation of players to put on the floor at the same time and I think that’s going to be a huge factor going forward. Yeah, I’m with them 100%, Alan. That’s that’s not something the Knicks really had the the luxury of that they didn’t really have that luxury last year in terms of having a healthy Mitch, a healthy deuce and those guys on the court together with Wingstop and the combinations staggered when you stagger Brunson and Towns because D, like I said, Deuce is the lynch pin man. D Deuce is the guy. He can play next to cap as an extra ball handler. The guy who’s on the point of attack now he’s picking up 94 feet. He can play off of Towns as a floor spacer or or in that guard spot. Like Deuce is that guy, man. He’s so versatile. And as as Williams said, defensively, you put him out there with with uh with Bridges and OG is havoc right now. Yeah. I think the other two thing is like I think Josh Hart’s finally figuring out he doesn’t have to start to make an impact. I think once he’s on the floor, he just plays his game and he’s going to make an impact regardless if he starts or not. Yep. True indeed, man. Great call. Uh, rate that call in the chat. Good people in the chat. Rate Williams call in the chat. One being trash, five being facts. Al, your thoughts. Yeah, I agree with what Will was saying, man. And especially when you think about a defensive lineup of just uh Bridges, OG, Mitch, and Deuce out there. You say you have Brunson out there as well with that five. That’s craziness cuz then you got guys to cover for Brunson’s, you know, deficiency, which is his defense, but then at the same time, you’re going to have that offense where he can just attract guys and then he’ll have shooters around him. OG can shoot, McBride can shoot, o uh uh Bridges can shoot, you know, and the way that he’s now looking for Mitchell Robinson in the post, there’s a lot more to the game now that you can add. So, it’s great when you have somebody like Miles McBride, as you said, could be the lynch pin. He’s that he’s that he truly is like that that oscillating factor of how well your defense can perform on a nighttoight basis. Next to Mitchell Robinson, man. Yeah, no question about it. Uh Molly Molly on the Discord mute your mic. Yeah. Hello. Yo, how you doing, man? Hey, I’m actually on on the train leaving the garden. Okay. How was the vibes? You were in the building tonight? Yeah, I was in the building. That was That was my first Knicks game. Now what? Nice. Congratulations, man. Everybody in the chat, congratulate Molly. Made it to his first game and you got a impressive win, man. Yeah, they they won on my birthday, too. That’s what I wanted. Nice. Happy birthday, man. Everybody in the chat shout out Molly on his birthday, man. Thank you. Well, um I just like it was a good I mean, the first half was kind of shaky at first, but once the second half came, it’s like I don’t know. We were hitting threes like crazy. Um, everyone kind of had it going. I don’t I don’t think anyone really played a bad game. Josh Hart looked like he was confident. Yeah, it was really full full squad. Got everybody involved. Mhm. Yeah, it was full squad full squad victory, man. Everybody Everybody locked in with this one. Do we have Molly? Did we lose Molly? Okay. He’s speechless, man. It’s his birthday, you know, first game at the Garden. He’s speechless. He’s on the train. All right, Molly, get home safe, man. Happy birthday. Happy birthday to Molly. Happy birthday, man. Happy birthday to Molly. First Knicks game and and it’s your birthday. You get the win against the Timberwolves. You get to see Julius and Dante come back. Thought they could get their revenge on the Garden Four. That’s a hell of a birthday gift. They They thought they were going to have their revenge and and but you know, look, I thought that um you know, be honest if you were scared. I saw you in the second quarter. Well, the I was it was one of my keys to watch. It was one if if you guys are watching on on my Bleach Report uh uh show that it was one of my keys for for the game was going to be the three-point shooting of both teams and whether that whether they were going to carry that forward because coming into this game, the past two games, Dante shot 25 threes against the Nets and the Hornets without Ant-Man. And so I figured especially he’s coming back to the Garden for the first time regular season, you know, Ragu’s going to let it fly. Julius is cooking. He’s trying to get in on it. Ant-Man’s not really doing much. So, you know, but as I saw how the game was progressing and saw that those were the only two guys that had it, it was only a matter of time that the Knicks were going to break it open. Well, what’s crazy is that the the Wolves still shot damn near 48% from downtown. Yeah, they did. You know, and the Knicks still went out there and said, “Don’t matter, man. We’re still going to win.” Yeah. Yeah. So good. Last year, last year if you had a team that was shooting three very well, you knew the Knicks were going to be out of it. Knicks Knicks are facing an opponent that shot the three ball very well. They shot the three ball just as well and they came out being victors. Certainly did. Absolutely did, man. So, uh just all around good effort and what we could consider is the uh best win of the short season. Best win of the short season. Uh quick break. We want to shout out one of our sponsors of tonight, Al, and that is Square. Man, this episode is brought to you guys by by Square. Um, very happy with the win. Okay. Definitely, I’m not going to lie, was a little worried at the end of the first half. I thought they played a little bit sloppy. They cleaned it up big second. Like first half there was like a lot of turnovers. It felt like sloppy passes in transition, but they cleaned it up second half. And shout out to Mitchie. Mitchie was excellent in the minutes that he played. Like you said earlier, like whatever he needs to do for April, but he was excellent. And then also like I want to go back to what I said. And I think after the Chicago game cuz everyone was on like freaking out about Josh. He said relax like Josh will be fine. He did didn’t play at all in the preseason like you know he’s a guy that ramps up as the season goes on and he looked excellent today hitting threes no hesitation. Um very proud of him. And then also Brunson damn near had a triple double. What do he have like seven rebound? I think he had like 23 10 and seven. He was excellent too. um liked what I saw there from the captain and OG just like he looks super comfortable just like you know creating for himself and then also just getting downhill and getting to the basket. He’s been very very so overall super pleased with the team. Um great performance and then um it was cool there kith night. Um cool cups, cool shirts, um boxes. The line though before the game to get into the store, the Kith store there, the popup was crazy. I’m sure there’s videos on Twitter of this. Oh my god. I’m sure. I’m sure it was absolutely uh bananas. Uh but you know that’s why you um that’s why you uh you get it online, sir. That’s that’s it, man. I don’t I don’t go to stores no more, man. I get all my on a website. One click, one drop, send it to my crib. I’m not parking up nowhere. I’m not doing I don’t do the lines no more. I’m too old for that. I can’t be doing the hype lines. I can’t do all of that, man. I’ll just go online. Whatever I get, I get. Whatever I don’t get. Hey, uh, there’s always next year. That’s how I see it, Al. I’m good. I can’t do the hype stuff no more, man. I can’t do it. You You don’t miss the thrill of just standing in line trying to get by. Like, how about the days of like getting Madden when it dropped or like GTA? Oh, the days of getting Madden when it dropped. I mean, no, I I didn’t have to wait. You go to Jamaica A, you go see a guy at the Coliseum. He’s got it the Saturday before. That was the oldest trick in the book. Real ones know. The real ones know. We don’t We don’t wait. You gotta call the guy who knows a guy who knows a guy, man. There ain’t a ain’t no waiting no line, man. What What are you doing, man? Man, you know. Yeah. That’s how I used to get down with the matter the Saturday before, as you know, Maddie used to drop on the Tuesday. Yeah. Right. That’s right. I used I used to have it on Saturday, pal. Okay. I I I was in the online rooms waiting I was waiting on y’all. I was waiting on y’all to come in to get that work. You know what I’m saying? I was I was on all the me Mr. Connect Mr. Little over here. I got I can get my Madden on a Saturday. Don’t got to be with the the comet the common folk out there. See my man in the back of the coliseum. He got it for you. And he’s and he’s letting him go. Who you know at EACP? Who’ you know? He go see my man in the back of the coliseum and it’s just straight in the rapping. Ready for you. Ready to go. Straight in the rapping. straight up in in the little cellophane, whatever it’s called. Yeah. Get that Madden popping, man. Um Yeah. So, you know, not not surprised. It was Kith Knight. I I I did I got a couple of joints. I did get some joints at at Kith Knight. And um let me guess, you your guy your guy at the Coliseum helped you there out, too. No, no, nobody helped me. Godamn. That’s a problem. But uh yeah, but you know, hey, I I had to get it, man. I like what I saw. I had to go get it. So, yeah, but they got the win. Most importantly, they got the win. Okay. Shout out to STG. We appreciate you, man. Shout out to STG. Okay. Keeping it going. Let’s go to Yuri. Yuri on the Discord. Yuri, go ahead and meet your mic. We are smoking on a random pack 247. That feels good. Another one. Smoking on it. That feels good. Salute, man. Salute. Mitchy ain’t no snitchy. Yeah, my man rushed down the court and got that block. We send them M Minnesota Timberwolves to the quarter fourth of doom. We gave them our third quarter of doom. There ain’t no more third quarter of dooms under Mike Browns ever. This is the quarter of boom for us. The third quarter. 40point third quarter, man. 40point third quarter. Third quarter. Opened up the floodgates. Let’s go, man. What a what an outing, man. What an outing. What an outing. And they cleaned it up the three-point defense. They cleaned up the three-point defense in the second half. I loved every minute of it. They played a 48 minute game. They played a 48 minute game. I don’t think Nick fans are happy. Yeah, especially the way Randall was cooking, man. I I could I couldn’t stand it. I was hating. I was hating from a mile away. I was like, we got to put a stop to this. He’s watch He’s He’s too good tonight. He’s getting away with too much. We We got to put a stop to this. And Anthony Edwards, my man, go back to Atlanta. Do me a favor, bro. You ain’t coming in next territory no more trying to put up dirty with a hamstring injury. We’ll sit your butt down. Go back on the injury reserve, man. Yeah, he he he tried to come back and style out on us. It wasn’t working tonight, man. Also, Randall, you got postered by Carl Anthony Towns. He made you look small. Yeah, you a little small there, Randall. Brother, you small. Pats the big dog. Yeah, he you know Bodega Bodega was cooking in that second quarter, man. He had the two monster dunks, flashing the passes. Bodega opened up with that second unit, man. I really like how they were running together. Oh man, if the overall This was a statement win. This was a good statement win. Good one. You got one against the Cleveland Cavaliers. You got one against Minnesota. You’re defending home court. You’re 5-0 at home court. MSG is becoming feared again and I can’t wait to see what we have in store for this week’s home stand. I’m expecting us to cook the Brooklyn Nets. I want the Orlando Smoke Magic. We ain’t feeling no Pablo fano. Come on now. Let’s get this show on the road. Let’s go. Shout out to uh shout out to Yuri on the Discord, man. Rate that call in the chat. One being trash, five being facts. Yuri on the Discord. He was he was going in on Julius, man. He was smoking on that P. Yuri was going in. Yuri Yuri was going in, man. Yuri was was one of the many fans to h happy to see that uh in Julius’s efforts was not able to win at MSG. Yeah. All right, let’s see what the locker room was talking about tonight and see what the audio’s sounding like. Sometimes that locker room audio is crazy. All right, let’s start off what we got here in the Nick locker room. Here’s a dog OG. You know, Mitch was a big factor in this one. Here’s the dog OG on the block nest monsters outing tonight. Mitch. Oh, yeah. You can tell that you can already tell it. It’s It’s the locker room audio out plus it’s OG. That’s double O. Double O. All right, let’s go. Here we go. When you see sometimes 16 minutes, nine offensively, three blocks. Is any of you surprised I’m still playing with the home studio? Oh, I mean, no. I mean, I knew before. Oh, no. Al, I can’t I can’t. This thing is not going to go, man. Basically, OG on mix. You turn the volume all the way up. Yes. And I I And I have a volume booster on this thing for because SNY’s mics are terrible, man. But anyway, Lord, OG know Mitchell Robinson. I I knew before I got here Mitchell special. Just seeing him every day. It’s amazing. No one can do what he does. And he’s absolutely right. So So shout out to the dog, man. He He’s absolutely right. Yeah, you know, he was he was here’s Jeff. Shout out to Jeff Shaw said he Oh, he caught one of the posters, Carl, on uh on on that was on Jada McDaniels. Then Julius caught the tail end. Have some there. That is all right. So, that OG soundbite wasn’t really good. Let’s see what else we have here. We have uh Deuce. Let’s hear from Deuce, man. See what the Duke Sambite is saying. Here’s Deuce McBride after the game. Deuce had a good game. 14 points off of the bench. Let’s hear what Deuce has to say here. Here we go. This bench over the last couple of games has really started to show out and show its potential. What is Let’s let me see if I can get the volume up. My fault people, we got to some We got to amplify SMI here. Here we go. This is Alan Hans’s question about the Nick bench. This bench over the last couple of games has really started to show out and show its potential. What has changed over the last couple of games? Honestly, I think it’s just the confidence uh we give to each other coming off the bench, whether it’s Jordan, Landry, um Yabu, whoever’s coming off the bench. Um we just want to give each other confidence and and really play together this bench. All right. So, uh 54 points off the bench. Al Deuce attributes it to the confidence and they’re certainly playing fast and loose out there, especially Deuce, uh Clarkson, and Josh. Sham too, man. Sham too. Sham too. Can’t forget about Sham. Yeah, playing well. Playing well. Good rotation right now, man. Yeah. And look, man, once again, if they’re able, we know role players play better at home. And look, they’re five and0. So, if they can continue this, only good things, man, for the senior for the season as it continues. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Okay, let’s see. Um, Mike Brown. Let’s get to Mike Brown. This was uh sent by you here. Submitted by you here, Alex. Here’s Knicks coach, Mike Brown, talking about uh the rebounding situation there. Knicks 21 offensive rebounds tonight and Mitch Robinson nine of his 10 rebounds on the offensive side. Here we go. I I thought Mitch had like nine blocks or 10 blocks. I was shocked he only had three. Uh but Mitch was all over the place. He was guarding everybody. Uh contesting shots, blocking shots. Uh, and then I’m gonna take a poll. Who has who has seen a stat sheet that has somebody playing 16 minutes and get nine offensive rebounds? Raise your hands. Who? I like that. Yes. I mean, that that was absolutely amazing. And one of the things we talked about was hitting the offensive glass. for for Mitch to get nine. I I thought Mitch had like He said it. He said it there. There’s really not too many people that can do what Mitch can do. 16 minutes with nine offensive rebounds, bro. And that’s what I was saying at the beginning of the show. I didn’t even hear Mike Brown say this, but we’re all we’re all seeing it, man. You could if it it’s just that it’s just that glaring of how impactful he is as a player to do what he did like 10 boards in 16 minutes. Yeah. And still get you eight points, man. And three blocks. Three blocks. And three blocks. Yeah. I’m telling you that sequence in the third quarter, within the first three minutes of the third quarter, he had the block on Ant-Man. He had the deflection that led to a steal. He had the put back dunk. And then he had another block on uh on on on the other end in three minutes. In three minutes. Don’t trade this man. Do do not trade this. Do not trade. Trade. This is why when people DM people respond and we got to trade Mitch now. Trade. You’re bugging out. How fast they forget how quickly they could be they forget. This is the eldest statesman of the team. We’re gonna treat this guy with respect. Yo, the fact that they had that whole uh what was it? The the whole uh trivia question. Who’s the longest tenure Nick in Nick history like that matches Mitchell Robinson for eight seasons? It’s Allen Houston. That’s insane. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out man. Give some respect to Money Mitch. And hold on. We got the graphic, CP. We got the graphic for defensive play of the game for tonight. We do. We do. We do. Oh, we got it. All right. Here we go. It’s got to be him. It’s got to be him. Oh, wow. In a stunning turn of events. Hey, I I I I can’t knock it because I’m happy for the with by the effort. But the winner is Deuce. They gave it to Deuce. And who’s hiding in the background tonight? It’s Josh. And it’s uh And it’s JB. Where’s OG at? OG. Where’s Mitch in this? Now, now we got to play Wales Waldo with this thing, man. Now we got to play where’s Waldo. So Deuce Deuce gets the Tims and the construction hat tonight. Defensive play of the game. Hey, Kaki. Shout out to Deuce. He was a dog tonight, man. Wait, is it just me? I just got to I just got to point this out. Is it just me or is it is Macau always front and center next to the guy who’s winning the award with his hand on the shoulder? Is it just me or you starting to recognize this? Yeah, I think it might be. Yeah, it just might be. But hold up. But hold up. But but why are they why are the people saying that these are fake butters? Did you hear Did you hear that? When when they gave it when they gave it to to who wanted when they gave it to Hart, people would say that that they were like, “Yo, whose butt is it?” Ez said there was fake Butters. Damn. No way, man. No way. I can’t I can’t I can’t about that. But there were multiple comments on the KFTV IG questioning the authenticity of the Timberland boots. Were they real butters or not? They were not Tims. They were Tims. That’s crazy though. Are you telling me a billion dollar organization can’t afford some Tims? Bro, people are questioning if these are are, you know, Fulton Street Fugazies. What’s going on with the butters? Canal Street that they get off canal. Is that what Canal Street knockoffs? Nasty work, man. Nasty work. Nasty. I hope that’s not true, man. You could you could go out there and get some real butters. Yeah. Okay. Jay Claire in the chat says they’re valid. Oh, okay. There we go. The Brooklyn Style says boneless Tims. Stack Gabe Chick says Mitch was protesting. Yeah. You I don’t think I seen Mitch in a photo. One of these photos. Yo, Mitch Mitch Mitch jumped in the truck and dipped. Mitch said, “Yo, I’m not here for these gimmicks, man. I I’ll see y’all Sunday against the Nets, man. Let me go work on the truck.” Yeah, Mitch is probably like, “Huh, I’m out of here.” Mitch Mitch went back to the crib ages ago. From the time he got subbed out, he was he he was in street clothes, back in the truck. He Mitch was long gone, man. Man went to Northern Westchester and said, “Yeah, Mitch Mitch home. Mitch is home already watching K all the way back to Tennessee for a whole week. Yeah, Mitchy watching postgame. You know, we we got to do our our IG lives again, man. We got to go back live on IG. And you know, and what I really love today, you know, Cap had a, you know, a decent game for his standards, but then you look at the other guy, Cat, he didn’t have to go off neither. This Mike Brown offense, bro. worried because one thing about it Wait, say wait. Say that one more time. You say you’re not worried. Yeah. Yeah. I was never worried about the offense, right? Yeah. I was never worried about the offense truthfully. Okay. Cuz one thing about it is that last year we had Tibs miss the ISO king and we were still one of the top offensive teams. So no matter there’s no messing up the offense, bro. We got we got real professionals on this team, real vets. And it shows, bro. It shows. But one thing that I am s like just so superbly happy about is how our defense flows, man. It it is beautiful. It’s how they is how they even hide Brunson in the defense. Like I don’t see Brunson getting picked on that much this year. And I loved that, bro. I love that. I love the way Mike Brown is handling the Mitchell Robinson minutes. 16 minutes tonight. I just feel like before the game he pulled Mitch aside and said, “Yo, Mitch, I’mma give you four minutes a quarter.” And when you go in there, I just want you to wreck havoc in there. I love that. Keep that up, bro. At this point in time, put it sub and mention is better than a timeout just to cool down the other team, bro. I love it, man. I can’t I Bro, I’m so excited right now, bro. Male, bro, he looks happy out there, bro. Male’s a real hooper. He’s a real hooper. You can tell by he plays. So right now seeing Muel out there, he looks happy. OG looks effortless. Deucing heart. Those are my backup point guards right now, man. Come on, man. I I love I love seeing this, bro. How many assists we racking up right now, bro? 32 32 assists tonight, man. Bro, that’s beautiful. We were so worried about a backup point guard. Look at us, bro. Man, this offense really got us moving, man. Jordan Clarkson, man, he looked composed tonight, bro. He looked like he’s finally starting to settle in. He didn’t He wasn’t even chucking. He was just playing within within the game. Yeah. Same thing with Sham. Sham only have one shot tonight. But he was just playing within within the offense. I love it, bro. I love it. And you know the biggest my biggest shout out, bro, it’s got to go to the captain, bro. Okay, talk about it, man. Talk about it, man. Talk about this, bro. Because I know you’ve seen him, bro. When you are down and you’re bad, bro, you can always turn and look to your friends. He’s in hard head like, “Yo, man, shoot that ball, man. out there. So, I love that because when you’re down and your teammates ain’t playing to the ability to know they can, like that’s what you need from a captain right there, bro. He gave you 10 assists, man. I seen I seen Jayla Brunson with a 40inch bird tonight. I seen him grab offensive rebounds tonight. He He was He was fight He was fighting Goar for rebounds. He snatched some some rebounds from Gobear tonight. can a couple steals from Go. He said, “Give me them cookies.” Yeah, man. You know I know who I am. Like, man, I I just I really do love where everything’s going. Mike Brown is settling in. Jordan Clarkson settling in. Everybody settled in, man. I Man, y’all know what time it is, man. It’s time to be alive, man. Go Knicks, man. Let’s go. Rambo from Tampa. Rate that call in chat. So, people in the chat, uh, make sure you guys are are rapid firing the calls, please. So, you know, we got to get to our trivia so that one lucky fan can go home with a uh- with a prize here, man. Hooper’s getting his Manscape. He’s writing down their website, manscape.com. Promo code KFTV. Hooper, go ahead. What’s up? I like what I seen today. The defense was better. The ball movement is great. We’re we’re rolling, you know. Yeah. What you think about the dog tonight? OG, man. OG went in tonight, man. OG’s about to be allstar, bro. It’s over. The league ain’t ready. Talk about it. Talk about it, man. Yeah. OG’s, he’s been balling ever since Mike Brown took over. He’s been all but you know what we needed, another offensive force. Yeah. True. True indeed, man. True indeed. All right, Hooper, man. Allar, too. Who’s that? MueL. I hope he becomes an allstar. Yeah, M. Muel is playing well as well, man. So, shout out to you, Hooper. Appreciate the call. And tap in uh tomorrow. NSB Cory, go ahead. NSB Cory. Yo, what’s good, man? How you feeling? What’s up, Alex? Good, man. I’m good, man. Can’t complain. Happy about the dub, but yeah, man. I really wanted to tap in because, man, let’s talk about it, bro. Like the panic button was on full alert like a few games ago, bro. Like I don’t understand it. Like Twitter was lighting up with what’s going on. I miss Tibs post. Yeah. Like it was it was looking bad, man. I’m just like you know, pump the brakes, bro. Pump the brakes. Yeah, you know, it’s still a learning process, but all in all, man, like the team’s meshing good, bro. Like, you can’t complain about anything that’s happening. Like, we going to have growing pains. But in regards to this, man, like we came and bled out. Like, that was a complete dominant win. Julius tried to come and show out. You saw the look on his face. He wanted to attack every time. None of that. OG stepped up. rest of the squad stepped up. Clarkson, man, Clarkson is finding a good rhythm. I think everybody on the team is actually starting to find their spots in the offense where they could get off and that’s going to be dangerous. But yeah, all in all, appreciate the love. Knicks all 82 tapped in. Y big time. Shout out NSB Cory in the chat. Rate that call in the chat. One being trash, five being facts. Uh Al, we forgot to do a key stats tonight, man. Let’s run through these real quick. Key stats of the night. Uh man, hot shooting night by both teams. Nicks shooting 53.9% from the field, 48 for the Timberwolves. Knicks got their 42 threes and 45% from the field. And the Timberwolves shoot 47 on 40 attempts. Knicks almost get to 50. The 50490 club. They go uh 8 to N from the free throw line, 88.9%, but they dominated on the boards. They got their 32 assists to 30 for the Timberwolves. They they scored 29 points off a 17 Timberwol turnover. So that Knick defense opportunistic once again and open things up in the paint, man. 62 to 40. This is a team with stifle tower in the middle and the Knicks had no problems at all. Uh largest lead for the Knicks tonight, 23 and largest lead for the uh for the Wolves tonight, nine. I think the one that stands out to me the most CP is the turnovers for this game because the Knicks right now they are currently tied for fourth in the league with 14 turnovers. So a good turnover low turnover rate. They’re not they’re protecting the rock well while still getting to their shots. And tonight’s matchup they stayed at 14 turnovers. So they hit their threshold. And that one stands out to me just because when you’re talking about teams that I like the Timberwolves that are, you know, as I as I talked with Ben yesterday, they’re a good offense. They’re they’re going to be he projects them to be a top five offense this year. You got to protect the rocks so that way you’re not giving them opportunities to go out there and just start putting up points on you. So the fact that the Knicks have, you know, worked on their turnovers, especially when we saw the three-game skid that they went on, that’s the one that stands out to me the most. Obviously, the fast break points are there, the second chance opportunities, points in the paint, but to me, man, it’s really the turnovers and defensively getting seven steals, eight blocks that also stands out, too, because as you mentioned, the opportunistic defense. If you protect the rock and you’re causing turnovers, that’s how you’re going to separate yourself in this league. Yeah, for me, I’m I’m going to go with the 21 offensive rebounds. Nine of those going to Mitchell Robinson. Um, it’s part of getting the Knicks extra possessions on nights when the shots don’t necessarily fall. Now, tonight was a night where the shots were falling and uh, but again, a lot of that was attributed to them getting the opportunity to do so again. And as you said, what was it? 31 second chance points. 31. They had 31 second chance points. 31 second chance points. So, you know, I think that part of that has to be a fabric of who they are and their identity. It’s like, yeah, we’re going to get those threes up, but we’re also going to fight to get those extra opportunities to score. And that’s Mitchell Robinson’s staple, but as a team, that was that was there. And it shows you their compete level, their energy level, like boards boards is is will and they did that tonight. Yeah. And this is a team that took actually a step back last season when it came to the rebounding battle. Now, granted, we didn’t have Mitchell Robinson last season, but we haven’t had Mitch really this season, too. And when you start looking at what the Knicks are doing from a rebounding standpoint, they are fifth in the league right now, averaging 48 uh rebounds per game. So, the fact that they’re bouncing back and being a strong rebounding team, that’s just going to bode well for them when it comes to generating second chance opportunities and limiting opponents chances to get second chance opportunities. Yeah, no question, man. Good stuff there. Okay, back to the Discord. Tone G. I’ll meet you mic. Tone, you hear me? Yeah, man. Welcome back, man. How you doing? I’m all right, man. Uh, listen, man. Home Depot is having a sale with two bubble wraps for free, man. Go bubble wrap Mitch cuz we need him. Yeah. 16 minutes and he has nine offensive rebounds. That’s insane. I don’t think I we probably never see that again. But this is a great win. The team is good. We back in the groove. This is what we need to This is what we need to see. And for all you Giannis people out there, man, you know, I’m in Milwaukee, so I’m still butt putting the word in his air. I’m still out here, man. But, you know, we good right now. But, you know, push come the cush, man. Yiannis, man. Okay. Your boy, let’s go. But good game, man. Yeah. Good game. Good game. Good game, man. you know, close the door on Sunday and you’re back to six and three. Not back to six and early, but close the door on Sunday and you’re six and three. You’re in a good spot. It’s early home stand, more winnable games on the way, and before you know it, you you’re ripping off games and and you’re in the midst of a, you know, eight out of 10 W’s and stuff like that, man. They’re going to be fine. They they they are going to be fine. And then tonight they gave you a little glimpse at what they could be at their best and it was pretty pretty damn good. So, uh, shout out to the squad for for sure, man. Full squad effort. Full squad effort. Shout out to Tone for calling in as well. Okay. All right. Um, D Tucker. D Tucker, unmute your mic. Do we have D Tucker? I’m here. I’m here. CP Alex, what’s good? How you doing, bro? How you doing, man? How you feeling? I’m good. I’m good. Great win tonight. Second half was awesome. I just seen a stat. I think they scored 83 points in the second half. 83 points in the second half, bro. That Yo, crazy. But I want to give you some love, CP. The other night, couple nights ago, you gave us fans a sermon on Josh. Told us to chill. We was going too hard on him. I can’t lie. I was crashing out in the man cave on him. He was whing. You even sent him a little text, a tweet like, “Yo, stay in there.” And you can’t tell me this brother ain’t dropped some bread on a good psychiatrist out there NYC to get his mental right cuz I ain’t never seen Josh play this kind. These past two games, he’s playing with such great conf. This is the Josh we need for the rest of the season. Yeah, I mean, yo, he’s shooting threes with mad confidence. Yo, I can’t remember the last time I seen Josh do that against the Wizards the other night. Papa the key took a dribble and shot a three. Yeah, he did. Splash tonight. Shooting with no hesitation. Money. I think he was what, four for five? Three tonight. Three six. Wait, was it hang on let me let me check. Let me let me just be correct here. It was uh heart three. Uh no, sorry. Sorry. Yeah, four for five. Correction. Four for five. Four for five. Yeah. Yo, loving that. We definitely need that. But uh CK made a couple good points the other night about Deuce. I know everybody loves Deuce. I love Deuce. And I think I just need Deuce to just be a little more consistent, man. take it to the hole a little more. Like tonight he had a great great night tonight, but the other night I think he had like eight points. The night before that I think he had single digits and no one else. But but that was also him coming back from you know Death in the Family and all of that. You know that that Chicago game that I I know that Chicago game he was kind of kind of light for him but you know kind of that kind of disrupted his momentum a little bit. That’s what I thought cuz he started the year off high. I thought, you know, the Cleveland and the Celtics team, he played well, bro. And pre and Abu Dhabi, I was like, yo, Duke’s going to have a hell of a year. He was playing real confident uh out there in the desert. I was like, okay, Duke’s going to be it this year. I thought he was going to take a step last year, but, you know, all the injuries and stuff kind of hold him back a little bit. So, I’m I’m looking for the next step, I guess, with Deuce. I’m not hating on Deuce. I I have love for Deuce. Yeah, is my guy. But the and I can’t even The bench play great tonight. If we can have the bench continue to be consistent like that, we going to be good money this year. 56 wins, I’m going to say. Let’s go. Let’s go, man. Rate that call in the chat. One being trash, five being facts. But he he mentioned it, Al, between Josh. Um we talking about Mitch, we talking about Dukes. Like th those are your intangible guys. Those are your guys that are going to be fighting for the 50/50 balls. In in Deuce’s case, he’s going to be the guy picking up 94 feet. In Mitch’s case, he’s going to be, you know, from the paint to the perimeter, back to the paint when he when he’s on money. And Josh, he’s just, you know, Mr. Do everything. That that’s that’s the heart. That’s the heart right there. So, those three guys are all going to fill an important role. Uh, but they all have to be, you know, healthy when it matters because those are all guys who, you know, have their own fair share of of health issues. But when they’re on, those are glue guys, man. They’re the glue guys, but they’re also the the most important factors for this Knicks defense because if you don’t have those guys, then this defense is going to struggle. We saw that last season when Duce was in and out of the lineup, when Mitch was in it, was just not there for most of the season, right? The defense wasn’t there. That’s why it struggled. And once Mitch returned and even for the limited minutes that he did play, the Knicks defense started to jump. It started from being in the basement to being a middle tier defense. So when you have all these guys available and for Mike Brown who, you know, is touted as a defensive coach throughout his entire career and really wants to hang his hat on that, you’re going to need these guys in order for to to execute to the level that he wants. I mean, look, when I spoke with James Ham this summer and he talked about, you know, not having the wings needed, right? Not having the defensive guys uh capable of playing to his defensive play style. That’s why this the the Kings were a turn style team. Now he gets these guys and you can see the the the creativity, the different ways, whether it’s doing a little bit of zone, you know, drop, playing at the level, doing all these different things. So that way this team is capable of just defending at a high level and you’re going to need all those guys to do so. So look, it’s it all intertwines. But Mitch, you know, Mitch McBride, those two guys especially are key for this Knicks defense. You’re talking about what you’re talking about your best perimeter defender and you’re talk about your your your best paint protector. Lefty to heart on the Discord members lounge. Lefty to heart. I’ll mute your mic. Hey, what’s going on guys? You can hear me? Yes, sir. How you doing, man? I’m good, man. Um, you know, any day, the next win is a great day. Absolutely, man. Especially when it’s a great overall win by everybody, you know, everybody contributed. Mhm. Um, but my main one, my main points, uh, is OG, you know, he did his thing. Uh, great two-way player. I love when he catch the steals and, you know, and go on the offense. It it just make the whole the whole cra the whole place go crazy. You know what I’m saying? When he get them steals and then turn into offense and then you got um you know Brunson almost getting triple double. I like when he share the ball and get everybody else involved. You know that’s always a good thing. And um Mitch man I mean Mitch is she definitely make the biggest impact every time you step on the floor. You know what I’m saying? For the defense and a lot a lot of power for our offense. So I like I like when he start to get them lobs too and he start to get a little bit on the offense on that on that tip too. But for the most part he put he put in the most impact for the defense for our team and put the whole fire behind everybody. So I think that’s the main point for us. Keep him healthy. You know what I’m saying? I think we going to go a long way this year. But let’s go next. Let’s go. Appreciate the call, man. Rate that call in the chat. All right. That’s that’s that’s the word, man. That that is the word out. Okay. All right. Here we go. Let’s get to um the trivia now. Okay. All right. I got an interesting one here for the people here. You had a Nova Nick reunion of sorts. Jaylen and Josh and Mau and Dante Devenenzo. Well, Alex, prior to the Carl Anthony Towns to Julius Randall Knicks and Timber’s trade, the two teams would make a trade for another Nova Nick who had a cup of coffee with the Knicks and did go to Villanova. Name that player that the Knicks traded for prior to the Julius Randle and Carl Anthony Towns trade. Name the last Nova Nick to be traded to the Knicks from the Minnesota Timberwolves. You wanted to cut me from the preseason your season. All right, man. The pre the trade before Julius and Carl Anthony Towns involved a player who went to Villanova. Player that went to Villanova. A player that went to Villanova. I’m going to guess Ryan Archer. No sir, it is not Ryan Archie Diakeno. Let’s go here, man. Franchise channel members. Tom Tibido. It is not Tom Tibido. Wow. Uh, the survey you put out on Mitchell Robin Robinson is very timely. Uh, M Mitchi is valuable to the team and uh to piggy back what Alex said earlier. Uh, and I mentioned this ear uh in the survey. Uh I’d rather have she on load management now and uh have a fully healthy blockness company of time. Uh there was this one play that sticks out to me. Uh he blocked Ant-Man on the right side and then a crosscourt pass was made to the corner three and then uh Mitchi recovered immediately to challenge. Uh that that was amazing. Uh the long defensive coverage of Mitchell Robinson is what Cat really needs to study. And uh sometimes I do that on a pickup game, but I can’t jump, so I just wind up and try to chop the gonads. Works every time. Anyway, uh OG was great. Uh Josh was tenacious, Mikuel was efficient. Uh the captain had a near triple double and Cat was dominant in the paint for three straight games now. And the players did well. uh all of the players uh we finally get to see the first points for Diwara as well, but the the dancing bear did not uh do well uh per uh on the the defensive side. Yeah. And he got bullied by Randall multiple times. I feel bad. Julius was cooking. But Julius is tough cover. You know, Julius is having a he’s having a a career year right now. I mean, early, but um you know, points he’s at 27 points per game coming in. His efficiency has been off the charts. He’s locked in right now. Drew is locked in. Give him credit. He’s he’s be Yeah. Yeah. But but yeah, about the Y about Yabu, there was a funny incident during the third or fourth quarter. Mhm. He went in the game after a uh uh I think it was third or fourth, I can’t remember. But after a minute, he got benched immediately after the Julius Randle chicken barbecue. Yeah. Yeah, but but I’m happy for Randall. It was a good trade. Hey, this is my impression of Julius going to the basket. So, so literally we traded the for Oh my god, it was a good trade. Yeah, but but we broke the wolves tonight. Uh Ant should have rested this game. And uh what is this? I see there’s a trouble in paradise. Uh Nas Reed threw his mouthpiece during their timeout then walk away to the other their side of the bench. Oh, is that right? Did you find that out? Let’s do some research. See if we see that a little uh dissension in the in the Knicks bench. Let’s take a look at that, man. We kick them while they’re down. Knicks out 3714 win at the Garden, you know. 1. Man I love how the team has been playing! Jordon Clarkson- OG- Mikail- Hart is back- Brunson is now an off-ball and facilitator as well as the same on ball clutch top ten player. KAT has been really good this year- missing lots of open shots but when he starts hitting them! wow These games will be Rated R cause Knicks will be slaughtering teams this year!

  2. This Knicks team is capable of generating a lot of offense very fast… And as shots start dropping– the Brunson/Towns pick and rolls/Pick and pops start rolling! The plays start getting more sophisticated– oh man! This teams should be the best offense in the league. Relentless with that bench as well!

  3. Would like to know what Hart is doing to look so great out there? I gotta say I was a big proponent of him getting that finger fixed and missing time but I guess we have to trust that he knows his body better than anyone and felt he could play through this.

  4. Those days of getting Madden were legendary in college I would call my guy in Florida and I’d tell him I’ll be in town Friday and he’d say I got you don’t worry

  5. OG has been a great addition to our knicks team since we traded for him. He's been worth every penny and every trade piece we gave up to get him. Underrated baller for real

  6. Let's not forget they gave the wolves a handicap too. Outside those first five mins. It was a clinic.
Keep it up. We now know what this team is capable of.

  7. Mike Brown didn’t know but he found out. Josh Hart is the engine for the offense he wants to run. His coast to coast and speed is tailor made for a high pace game. Josh going to get 25 min a game.
