My take:
1) We are spoiled on Mahomes' greatness and
2) We are due for a win (emotionally due, probability doesn't really work like that as I understand it)

  3. I am willing to bet the Chiefs weren’t trying as hard as last season because they knew that Rice and Worthy are going to be back. Also it’s difficult to win when your main weapons are out.

  4. I never got the “one-score” stats, like it implies its a coin flip whether you win or lose. There is a big difference between blowing a team out and they come back within one score during garbage time, vs a consistent competitive game across 4 quarters, and it doesn’t account for that and 100 other scenarios. It really doesn’t mean anything if you ask me.
