People on this Sub have been asking for a rebuild for years… seems like the rest of the market is finally realizing what's going on.

  1. What does Quinn Hughes at 50% retained this January get in a trade?

What would Vegas be willing to give up?

  2. The amount of times I was downvoted into the double digits over the last decade having people tell me “OK BUDDY YOU WANT TO HAVE A DRAFT PICK INSTEAD OF *[Player We Have All Forgotten About By Now]* THAT’S HOW YOU BECOME EDMONTON”

  3. STOP ATTENDING GAMES.

STOP BUYING HATS, JERSEYS, AND SHIRTS.

    STOP WATCHING.

    SPEAK WITH YOUR WALLET.

  4. I planted the trade Hughes seed a couple weeks ago and looks like it’s starting to bear fruit.

I’d rather win with Hughes but we gotta get realistic at some point. Losing him for nothing is going to sting.

  5. Devils Advocate here, but did people really want to *rebuild* these last couple years when Hughes was winning the Norris, and EP40/JT were both hitting 100+ points, and Demko was playing like an elite goalie?

I know there was a lot of appetite around 2014 when they drafted this core… but did people *really* want to rebuild this existing core a few years ago?

  6. If you think about the ducks they were competitive after we started rebuilding went into a rebuild and seem to have come out of it. They’ve gone through the entire cycle in the time the Canucks have been in the no plan plan.

  7. I have always been and will always be a nucks fan, but at the end of the day, it is just a game. Try not to take it too seriously.
